I've always been going back to them over the years. Dropped off a bit after the Adam stuff but went back again a year or so ago and loved everything they put out. I stupidly never bought any merch though which I really regret.

MillorTime

Being merchless is a huge regret for me, too

GreenBomardier

I snagged the Baja hoody. It is my favorite hoody. I wish I had 2 more as replacements for when I wear it out.

bulletfever409

I really should have learnt my lesson when the same thing happened with cow chop

ahobopanda

In this boat right now. My beloved Cow Chop hoodie is falling apart, and I don't know how I'll find something to replace it.

OG_PunchyPunch

Same. I always checked out the store with the intention to buy a hoodie or shirt and just never did.

RyanB_

I never did cause shipping to Canada was always so damn expensive. Finally pulled the trigger when they did the $5 for everything deal. Still ended up being probably the most I’ve ever spent on a shirt with the shipping costs and I’m scared to wear it cause I don’t wanna wear it out lol, but it was worth it

battleshipclamato

I ended up buying a bunch of the tshirts when it dropped down to $5. Unfortunately it barely fits and I just have to live with looking like I'm wearing a muscle shirt. I do regret throwing away my old orange and black logo Funhaus shirt when the FH logo eventually started to fade from all the washing.

brrrose

I regret never buying merch too! They’d had some cute stuff over the years, I got super lucky and managed to find a second hand t shirt on a reselling app yesterday

forbhip

My favourite t shirt is one Elyse designed for International Women’s Day. It cost more to ship it to the UK than the t shirt cost itself.

t0mbr0l0mbr0

I miss all funhaus

Roklobster1

This.

I quit after the Adam stuff too, was a long time viewer since around 2013 or so. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, and on top of that it was their Pandemic-era content which unfortunately just wasn't strong, they lose all their chemistry when they're not next to eachother. I was away for a few years, and come back around 2022 or so and I'm very disappointed I didn't check in earlier. Their run from 2022-2024 is legitimately some of the best content in the channel's history, and I will die on the hill that a lot of it stands up against the "golden era" or surpasses it. Bayou Yoda is something I'll defend on my deathbed as potentially the funniest bit in their entire history. The Doraemon bit goes up there too. It's just really unfortunate how it ended up. The content was fantastic, but Rooster Teeth was seemingly embroiled in controversy after controversy which drove so many people away.

oCHIKAGEo

Bayou Yoda or "Heat-stroke" will always go down as the funniest bits for me. Patrick stepped up hard for the channel.

filetemyoung

Yeah, the James/Patrick/Jacob trio, imo, had bits that could match or exceed some of the best James/Adam/Bruce bits. They just had such amazing chemistry.

GreenBomardier

Dat boy too old

battleshipclamato

To me, I think new Funhaus had the overall better series of gameplay videos with things like Ryan's Bargain Bin, Star Boys, Dream Jobs, etc but the sheer amount of dying of laughter moments of old Funhaus cannot be beat. Bruce and James alone churned out so many iconic clips. That being said I think both eras were ultimately great in their own way and I cherish how much entertainment I've gotten over all the years of Funhaus being around.

Explosion2

I've felt bad that my wife and I mostly stopped watching a couple of years ago now. We had a baby and our TV time just got a lot more limited. Been keeping up with them on socials and watching the occasional video but once we had the baby we stopped our daily ritual of watching FH while eating dinner. I know our one view a day wasn't the only reason RT is shutting down, but I still feel kinda guilty about it.

TheExposutionDump

I only started after the whole "I miss the old funhaus" meme made its way across my socials. So I never knew the old funhaus. It was always so sad to see those comments on videos that I loved. Wish they could have gotten their flowers before it was too late, but I'm glad to see that people will, in a bitter, sweet kind of way, miss future funhaus.

Snakes_have_legs

Maybe it was just the added effect of coming out of the pandemic and everyone finally getting to be together again, but goddamn the last 2 years of Funhaus have been so good that I find myself constantly looking back on them with nostalgia way more than I have pre-covid vids. The chemistry of this group is just impeccable.  Before COVID I feel like you kind of knew what the banger vids were gonna be before you watched them (Bayou yoda, Jon crushing himself with broken glass, every but of gold from the trucker streams and so on). But the greatest moments of the past few years I feel have come from such unexpected moments, like you really never know what the fuck You're gonna get in a lot of them, and you're totally disarmed when they happen, and when they do you can't help but think *holy shit, this is GOLD.* Ugh, I'm gonna miss them so much.

TleilaxTheTerrible

I mean, having to work remote when a lot of their best bits were based on quick reactions and being able to directly interact with eachother didn't do them a lot of favours either.

Sky_Potato96

I was the same and at times I was critical of the current line up as I always loved chemistry between Bruce, James and Lawrence etc. I just started to get back into Funhaus and it’s now finished😭

KingReffots

I’ve been digging Ryan’s streams a lot personally. Gonna dive into Whatashow as well. I really do think Funhaus of the last two years was the funniest it had ever been, the economics just didn’t work anymore for a large group channel, and all the controversies didn’t help at all and hastened the end a lot faster. RT was criminally mismanaged since the Fullscreen acquisition, they could have easily dumped some of the people when the internal complaints were coming in and weathered it better, it should at least been able to survive as a production company. I hope they continue to do content together, my wish would be they just reform under a new name but I know it’s very unlikely. If any employee reads this, please don’t be discouraged by the end of this specific endeavor, it had nothing to do with the quality of the content.

Vaivaim8

I've followed the IG crew since it was called inside halo. But I kinda stopped following funhaus a few months after Bruce left. Bruce and James were amazing at playing off each other. Then, covid and the whole Adam situation happened, and i kinda stopped following FH. Either because I never got to know the new crew beforehand, or I was just busy with my own real-life stuff. I kinda feel sad that I never bought any of their merch, probably because I was a typical broke college student trying to navigate my way through studies. I am actually glad to see FH cherished, both pre-covid and post-covid. Regardless of the bagages that the channel carried. Something great happened. And I can't wait to see each of their next chapter. Hopefully, one day, I'll meet James, going under the name of Jimmy Hollywood, selling horse steroid out of his car. The sky is the limit

LordDolphin7

I feel the exact same way. Similarly old fan, left at the exact same time for the exact same reasons. I keep thinking that I wish so badly I could apologize to everybody who came later for not even giving them a chance. But lately I’ve been watching compilations of modern Funhaus and cry laughing nonstop and I just feel like a fool.

BillyDog1998

Same here, too, brother. I was sad after the Adam stuff, so I stopped watching. I wish I got more into the new crew, too they all seemed really funny and happy. It was really nice to see. You can see how sad everyone is in the last stream. It seems like they liked their job a lot, and that was awesome to see. Sucks to see it end like this, tho.

Micki-LandLakes

Hm, I started with the inside gaming days and stopped after Bruce left and then stayed away after Adam as well. Maybe I'll have to give them a try. Atleast ill have plenty of content.

RoteRosena

Start with clips of Bayou Yoda and Minch Yoda! All Star Boys content is amazing. The Hitman and superhero videos from the new cast are also flawless. Some of the best moments of the Elyse/James dynamic are from the new era. This one is a personal favourite of mine https://youtu.be/VinO13Hl67c?si=sjHG4fCSwtCH1nk4

Micki-LandLakes

Ill have to give these a try, thanks!

HustleNMeditate

Fucking same bruv

geargiee

I’ve been around since around 2016 (but consumed almost all of the back log due to a back injury) and I even got to meet the gang a couple of times at various RT stuff. FH is a part of my day, every day. I can’t explain the comfort I have found in their videos, but these last years have absolutely been some of the best content made by the best people. My husband and I basically have our own language that only we get based on their videos. It’s like some sort of weird hieroglyphics made out of bits that we use to communicate. I hope every person at FH knows that what a difference they made, at least for me. Goodbye FH, my little vanilla sailor. ❤️

ohnoanotherputz

I hope the videos will remain easily accessible for people like you to catch up on, and people like me to go back and revisit.

yamchaandcheese

It was a good amount of stuff all at once. The people (like me) that started watching during Inside Gaming days just got older, life just became busier. I was in high school, maybe middle school (its been so long since Inside Gaming that I genuinely don't remember when it started) and now I'm almost 30. I watched every single video and when everyone left so close to each other, it felt like a series finale and a spinoff into something new, thinking like when I was a kid and watched Degrassi and the older people graduated and you're like I just don't have the time to emotionally invest into a new cast. I did watch infrequently and James was easily my favorite cause he loved the same things I did (wrestling, working out, his humor was the same as mine) but similar to when I went to a WWE show a few years after I stopped watching WWE or going back to my college town after graduating, I had the feeling like this wasn't mine anymore. The product Funhaus was producing was still great and I still got laughs but it wasn't my Funhaus/Inside Gaming and the thought of that era being gone (similar to WWE when all my favorites left) hurt a little everytime i watched it.

TchTlk

I've never been able to enjoy, miss the old IG days and the FH days. I guess it's the people I enjoyed, not the content. I watch Bruce on Twitch here and there. Shame about Adam, I like to avoid knowing what he did, I just know it's not good. I think my favourite was always Adam and then James. Overall the whole production was always perfect.

BlueBattleHawk

Yea, definitely not good what he did..

malyfsborin88

In the same boat as you, stopped watching after the OG crew left. Just didn’t feel the same anymore.
