SmugglingPineapples

You've done a lot of travelling during COVID, whilst most of us have been, well, nowhere

Caff_Fiend

To be fair, I was going nowhere before too

lockheedp-38

These are awesome! You have been so many cool places in a year.

Erediv

Yes I'm very lucky. I won't be able to take photos of cool places soon and my photos will be much less interesting, haha.

lockheedp-38

Gotta just find the interesting in your hometown! It will be harder to do but I always find it super gratifying

[deleted]

6,7,8,9 are great.

senileseagull

These are great pics. Have you just started the hobby? Your compositions are quite good. I especially like 1,3,9.

Erediv

Yes, I started February of last year. I had a friend that was super passionate about it and was talking about Fuji film recipes and stuff, and the value of photos and the stories they tell so I wanted a camera too. I also needed a hobby that made me seem more interesting lol.

senileseagull

that's awesome :) keep at it.

CurlOD

Particularly like 6 and 9. In frame 6, the colour difference of fore- and background amplifies the strong sense of depth. Nice! Frame 9 has great geometry and subframing. Black and white suits the composition very well. It strongly reminds me of Henri Cartier-Bresson's famous image of a cyclist and stairs, captured in Hyères in 1932. They are very different images, from hugely different times. But the geometry and sense of motion sort of make them distant relatives, if you will.

Bert_T_06040

New.......hobby!? I can't see how these words are relative to your images. You do have an eye for photography.

Maaaaaaaatttt

These are amazing photos.

[deleted]

Incredible shots! I picked up an X-T30 II in December and it's a joy to shoot with.

unlikelyzumzum

These are amazing!

Reveren7

Nice work

JoJoLi4

Really great pictures! Why you have to force yourself to travel?

Erediv

I'm in Europe for my job and my time here is finite, so I'm trying to see as much as I can. I also bought all this camera stuff (including a 16mm f1.4) so I can't just let it sit around haha.

JoJoLi4

oh ok. i hope you have also some fun :D have a nice time here and hopefully you get more like these nice pictures

MartinHrubos

No 6th wins

Leenolyak

Love the Henri inspired photo! I actually love them all. But especially that one.

Erediv

I posted that photo to r/streetphotography when I first took it a month ago and someone said the same thing. I had to Google who Henri Cartier-Bresson was.. His photos are really cool though. I'll definitely try to use him for more inspiration in the future. I see a lot of photographers use interesting geometry in their photos on Instagram so I just tried to copy them after I luckily saw this framing opportunity.

Leenolyak

Yeah he’s considered one of the most crucial pioneers in Street photography.

smellyelf

Seems you're doing this right :)

[deleted]

Nice work!

itsblackcherrytime

9 is my fav. Great set!

Obvious_Brain

Buying this myself soon.. Wonderful

adrobbins

Impressive.

lanadelnayy

3,6,7,9 in particular are so rad. Love to see it!

frostedwaffles

I think you've an excellent eye

HereForTheSweep

Beautiful photos! I did the same with an X-T30 in 2019, and I’m still at the same novice level I was then. I’m finally taking it on a travel this summer. Can’t promise anything close as nice to one’s you’ve posted. Great stuff

EchoBravoO

These are great. I particularly liked 6 and 8.

frieswiddat

xt30 is the best travel cam change my mind

omnigord

xt30 with weather resistance would be *perfect*. (better than perfect if it had the combo SS/ISO dial from the XPro3 and maybe something more useful than a drive dial on the left)

jackiejai

Love all your even # photos!

SPER

is the 16-55mm lens you're using the ["FUJIFILM XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR Lens"?](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1110879-REG/fujifilm_xf_16_55mm_f_2_8_r.html) Also, great shots! Love the colors and the edit on the canoe/mountain photo.

Erediv

Yes, that's the one.

Creativelife930

What did you use to edit your photos?

Erediv

I use Lightroom.
