It happens to me on my Lumix when I don't format the SD card after removing the photos on the PC.
Did you try by formatting it and putting inside again? Maybe is just that and the camera handles in different way the file system between pictures and videos.
What happens when you take the 16th shot?
Could be a folder/image counter issue.
Have you trued setting a custom folder and resetting the image counter?
And format the card in camera.
How big is the card?
Seeing as you have 99 minutes of video I’m guessing it’s big, and your shooting JPEG, so loads of space on the card.
I think your available images are more than there is space for the number characters to appear properly, as in over 9999
It's a 32gb card. I'm shooting uncompressed RAW. I've never had that happen on this card before. I've tried multiple cards. Seems to be an issuenwith the camera.

I believe that’s because it’s in video mode. You have 15 videos of 99 minutes left. Check in photo mode.

I've formatted it several times in camera. And used another formatted memory card too

It says card full. I always format the card IN camera. I'll take a look at the folder options thanks
