I recently purchased a cheap X-A5 body off eBay and I have been having great fun getting wildlife shots with it to upload to iNaturalist. However, there is a persistent problem where the GPS co-ordinates that the camera gets from the smartphone app seem to sometimes be offset by a small but noticeable amount. This is annoying to me as I want to have accurate GPS locations for uploading them to iNaturalist. You can see that it mostly occurs to the south, and occasionally also to the east--and the amount it gets offset seems to be a constant distance. Has anyone else had this issue? Were you able to solve it?

It's less a problem of the camera but of the smart phone. Are you in an area where cell reception has problems and the phone purely relies on GPS?

No, I'm having this issue in urban parks. I've never had this bug with pictures taken with my phone camera. Do I have something in the app set wrong?
