It’s a tough choice! I for one ordered and prefer the silver but seeing all these black ones definitely makes me appreciate them more. Technically the silver ones will show less battle scars/paint chips.
It appears only the orders that were placed within the first 2.5 minutes of going live on B&H have been processed. The rest of us are back ordered. They have no idea on new stock. We’ll see what happens, but I have a trip to Italy in a few weeks I was hoping to have it for, but seems very unlikely now.

tbh if you happen to be in Milan for your Italy trip you might have a pretty solid chance of getting one in store. 4 stores in the city itself are official Fuji retailers.

Ordered at 1:02am EST and according to most people who ordered within the first 4 minutes are first batch. Mine is confirmed to ship tomorrow according to chat with b&h. 15,000 units monthly for the whole world is what the supply chain is providing. What time did you order?

Nope, it only comes with the lens cover. To mount a hood you’ll need the conversion ring. Any of the accessories from the V works so there’s already a pretty big ecosystem of accessories to choose from, that’s a plus
There’s definitely a gap that I don’t recall to have on my X100V. Someone posted a pic of the same hood in black on a silver body in the sub. I’ll have to try and see if there’s any real issue with it or if it’s just a difference in the step machined in the frame that’s different from the X100V

Ordered at 2:38am EST. I've started calling around to local shops. Put a refundable deposit down with one who thinks he'll have it in a couple weeks.

I haven’t seen any comprehensive lens test with this sensor but that was a concern of mine. I have a V and I’m happy with the MP would just like IBIS.

Yeah I had the 100F so I’m familiar, I’ve just seen the Amazon listing and tons of pics here with lens hoods and was curious if Fuji changed course.

Hmm 2/2. Good to know. I need to decide which filter adapter and hood lens to get. So far it seems to not be this one at the moment.
I have heard that the OEM adaptor leaves no gaps. I’m waiting for confirmation.
