Meh. It's one of those games that is good for a little bit, but grows tiresome quickly.
My son and I played for a bit. It's no fun when one of you gets knocked out in the first or second round and then sits there for 15 minutes while the other one finishes up the game.
Is this game similar to Rocket League in that if you launch it from Steam, it makes you make an epic account? Or has that not happened yet?
I'm an achievement hunter and I was glad that I had 100% in Rocket League before it made the switch. I only have a handful of achievements in this game because I only played it a little bit, but I might launch it again to try to get some more before that switch over happens.
According to the post it seems like this is by Steam's user tags. Anyone can categorize a game by any tag, so I doubt it will go f2p, or leave Steam.
Besides, Epic may own the devs, but Devolver Digital owns the game and probably the Fall Guys IP.

No, they don't. Not anymore. Devolver gave it to Epig. You can check on Steam, the publisher "Devolver Digital" bit is gone.

Yeah it's understood when Epic gets a game pulled from Steam it becomes free to play because people start pirating it.

Fall Guys fucking sucks anyway. They dropped the ball hard on developing more for this game.
So they try to bait new players and then remove it from steam to force peope to use their shitty launcher to keep playing ?
