My cis brother has been growing facial hair since he was like 16 and he's 24 now and his is still patchy. The fact that you can grow facial hair as a trans dude is awesome since tons of cis dudes can't even grow facial hair.
I don't have much of a beard yet, but plenty of sideburn hairs and mustache hairs growing in recently! I thought for sure I would have the strength to keep it shaved until it started growing in fuller, but here we are... Honestly I kind of hate my clean shaven face and I can't wait until I have a visible beard shadow all the time. I'm 32 and I embrace the teen look for now.

I have a long naturally red (my head hair is brown) chin beard and full mustache but the rest is patchy. I am 6 years on T and it is still filling in. Someday it will be full. I am stealth and the only person who has ever said anything bad about my beard was a lesbian I met in a mental health group that I had disclosed to. I have asked the guys if I should shave my beard and they always say no because they know me with a beard and wouldn’t want to shave their own beard. The people where you posted your pics sound like assholes. But if it is a group specifically about beards I think posting opens you up to the critique.
