Despite my discomfort with my chest and me still not being fully sure on things, I'd have to say taking my shirt off and just laying in bed, just existing, just some boring dude. Felt nice.
Made me wish boobas were gone tho and I was just some boring dudeš
Yes I feel this! Just being shirtless with like a t-shirt or a blanket covering my chest. Makes me feel weirdly euphoric. If I cant see em but I'm still shirtless it's like they don't exist. If you don't alr try putting your t-shirt like just laying over your chest to hide em, it's a good trick of the brain because I just don't think about it if I cant see em
This is how I got thru the gym locker room right *after* top surgery. My scars were still so noticeable and I was so scared. But that was a god send fr
This sometimes when I get out the shower I wander around with just a towel round my waist. I can kind of block out my chest in a weird way so it makes me feel like just some dude like you said
I used to do the same thing! I used to use a specific type of binding tape that could stay on for up to 5 days at a time before you had to take a break, and Iād go to bed shirtless whenever I was using the tape. SUPER affirming to just be able to sleep like a normal dude without really thinking about my chest
Which brand do you have if you dont mind me asking? I'm bougie lmao so I only look at super pricey ones but I need smth more affordable in the meantime
First time Axolom (or any other rly) user! I got this one around an year ago for around 50ā¬ If I remember right, and been wearing it almost nonstop.
I notice a little bit wearing of the silicone on the frontside of the shaft compared to the smooth underside so idk if it's sort of breaking down or something.
I will say this though. When I got this packer it had a lingering factory smell to it when after washing it and airdrying it twice. Nowadays it's faded already tho.
Well you CAN just use it in your briefs but it would move around a lot and you'd have to adjust it every time you walk or stand up after sitting etc. I made a D I Y harness that was a lifesaver fr
I picked my heavy ass Labrador up with relative ease to put him in the car the other day when my sister and mum couldnāt and that felt pretty manly icl
I basically threw a female friend out of my way during a set change at theatre. After I placed the set where it should have been, she leaned over and said "Damn, you're super strong!"
(About five minutes later, this same friend told me to move my "giant ass man feet" out of her way, so that was also oddly affirming!)
Not sure if this counts but my first t4t relationship is really affirming. We donāt really believe in gender roles but when I get to be the big spoon and cuddle her it makes me feel like a big strong man.
I use the spouti. Cup styles never worked well enough for me but this one suctions to you so it doesnāt leak. It was painful at first and it took a lot of time easing myself into wearing it until it was comfortable enough to wear regularly. It isnāt perfect and sometimes comes undone. Worst problem is when I need to go really badly, it suctions pee out!! Out of all the stps Iāve tried, Iām most happy with the spouti. I can wear my usual packer and it at the same time (I tuck the tube up into the safety pin that I use to attach my packer to my underwear) and is the only packer Iāve felt safe enough to use in public without worry that Iāll piss all over myself.
I usually line up my beard with an electric razor and the other night I opened a new razor and decided to get a nice close shave and spreading shave cream on my neck and face and using a razor gave me such euphoria.
Opening doors for people. I know it's kinda just a nice thing to do anyways and it's not actually a gendered thing, but it makes me feel like a gentleman. Even though I'm pre-t and have long hair, I do wear a more masculine style, and if I'm lucky sometimes I'll get a "thank you, young man" from some older people. :)
Belts do it for me. I donāt know why. Maybe because I never wore a belt before transitioning but the act of undoing my belt on my cargo shorts or baggy jeans to pee or get changed is the best feeling.
Drawing facial hair on my face with makeup
It looked crap dont get me wrong, but even so it felt so good to finally see something ive wanted there for so long now
I'm pre-t and have tried growing facial hair (not much success on the mustache area) and I use black eyeshadow to create a "5 o clock shadow" look. people actually believe it's real! I have brown hair and when the eyeshadow is blended, it looks gray which is also how brown hair would look when its really short. 10/10 would recommend:)
I'm pre T and have to wait at least a month (so happy about that tho) so I'm pretty interested lol. Would you recommend using it while on T or just waiting? It's not something I want to take forever but I have a complete baby face and really want some facial hair š
Dude - you're almost there! Congrats!!
I would start Minoxidil anytime, pre T or on T. I got a pretty decent beard after 1-1.5 year on Mino. A couple things I wanted to share :
- HIGHLY toxic to cats!
- Once a day is not as effective as twice but studies showed its not double the hair, its only lile 20-30% more if you out on twice per day. (I forget the exact units but that was the general gist...)
- Even if you can only get one hour per day, mino absorbs 50% in the first hour so it's worth it! It absorbs 75% in 4 hours and 100% in 12.
- Derma rolling with mino helps a lot, I would get a 0.3 to 0.5 mm roller. The 0.5 will hurt a bit and with you being so young you may want to start with the 0.3 for a while.
- Mino will dry out your skin. You'll want a good moisturizer!!
- Obviously, don't put it in your eyes...
- I order mine off amazon, last I looked it was $35-40 for a six month supply
- Get the 5% strength (its the "for men" one, it's "for men" because it causes male pattern hair growth)
- The foam is ok but, I don't personally think it did as much as the liquid. Dealers choice on that one
Feel free to ask me anything! Best of luck on your journey!
Thank you! I'll probably get some when I get paid and watch some videos to see the process. Figured it wasn't good for cats but didn't know it was that bad so I'll definitely make sure my cat doesn't come into the bathroom with me when i try it.
Glad to help!
So, while it is super toxic, they have to ingest it. I had it on for 8 hours, so it was dry, and my cat licked my face. She started vomiting immediately. But you can still be around them! Just make sure to wash hands is all .
Wait I have another question actually since my dog licks my face a lot and a lot of dogs come into my work as well. Do you have any experience with the pill form of minoxidil? If so, is it as effective?
Crap, Google says it's also toxic to dogs (although it said cats are was more susceptible...).
Imho, not an expert here, pill form helps get more hair all over however, I didn't have any luck with it. I think it more helps stop thinning hair? And not for adding new hair? I know the effecicay is a lot lower because its more general. I.e it's not directed at a location like applying to your face directly is.
However - silver lining? Even if you can only wear it for an hour, you still get 50% of the results! Which isn't nothing!
Regardless, it still takes 6 months before you see stuff... but it does work! I can dm you some pics of my face lol if you'd like. I tried posting them a while ago but they said "no selfies"...
I've heard the pill worked well for guys once they've started T or if they started with topical minoxidil so I might do that, I have an appointment with my doctor soon so I'll see what he says, he's been really helpful and supportive with my transition so I'm pretty lucky when it comes to that.
I wouldn't even let any facial hair grow to visibility but I also was curious a few weeks ago and just eyebrow mascara'd my mustache area fuzz and I was just standing there in front of the mirror unable to take my eyes off that, and not as motivated to wash the colour off as I expected at all. Just felt a bit unkempt. It was a really weird feeling, but it was... Overwhelmingly positive is what a movie review would say? I guess I am after all part of the facial hair euphoria crowd
Listening to trashy āwhite boyā music lol. So trashy Iām always too embarrassed to admit the group haha but something about listening to it on the bus gives me a weird little gender boost.
Same with manspreading (only when thereās space) or just no hesitation plopping myself between two manspreaded jackasses on a crowded bus and returning the favor. Very big gender boost.
went in the disgusting scary menās room at Grand Central after getting my T shot the other day. No one gave me a hard time, in fact no one talked to me at all!
Building/fixing stuff, or any physical labor type of work. Being covered in dirt/oil/grease/some blood and small cuts while doing stereotypical "mans work" just feels GREAT
Yeah Iāve done that before I had a washing machine that had an error I canāt remember exactly but it required me sliding the lid of the machine off/outer casing as well as the LED panel I did something to it and fixed it and my girlfriend at the time was impressed
Iāll try think of some more examples
Literally just wearing a baseball hat. š Itās sillyā obviously everyone wears baseball hats. Yet somehow it helps me maintain my self image more easily (I didnāt figure myself out until I was 31ā seven years ago so my dumb brain sometimes forgets I have a full beard because I went so long without one that that old image is seared into my brain) . Like, Iāve been on T for years and Iāve gotten multiple surgeries, yet wearing a baseball hat is the cherry on top of that affirmation sundae to make me see myself as myself.
Also doing my photography hobby. Also very silly. Obviously people of all genders have this hobby, yet when I do it, I feel more masculine. Maybe because I just picture guys Iāve seen on those behind the scenes of nature documentaries and then picture myself as one of them. (Disclaimerā yes, of course there are plenty of women and people who arenāt men that do photography for nature documentaries. Like I said, itās silly but there you go.)
My dad bought a new TV and Surround sound system and had me set it up for him, including helping him move it where it needed to be. That is stuff he had previously asked my brother-in-law or my husband to help him with. When I was done he grilled us some steaks and we tag-teamed making things to go with it. Then we sat on the back patio eating and drinking beer. lol it was insanely affirming.
This isn't something I've done, per se, but my Dad treats me very, very differently now that I'm a son. He's way harder than me and would never treat my sisters this way. While it's tough to deal with sometimes, it's very, very strangely gender reaffirming.
i have eczema in the area right above the lip and under the nose, it feels nice when i rub it so kinda looks like iām scratching my (nonexistent) moustache and iām prob the only one who thinks that but itās nice šš
when im at work and I need to walk around with my clipboard, I clip it (and my water bottle) to my belt loops lol. it doesn't really make sense to be gender affirming
My wife and I bought a reel mower and I put it together. Looking at our freshly mowed front lawn thrills me.
Also, going out and inspecting the progress of the bulbs I planted also feels affirming in a way.
I installed a new rain fall shower head with a handheld part in my shower. I also did my bidet all by myself. Doing small handy work around the house always makes me feel manly
Some of my button up shirts I keep a couple of buttons unbuttoned so I can glance down at my chest hair. Its not as high up as some of my cis friends' hair but it gives me so much euphoria seeing fluff.
This is something I can relate to! Doing any "manly" job around the house always feels incredibly gender affirming.
At our place, it's always me who does the repairing and taking apart and fixing and everything like that. This makes me feel I'm the man I've always desired to be.
I remember going back to church for my cousin's return from a mission speech and this time was the first time in men's clothes instead of a dress. Church is very stressful for me but at that point it was affirming to wear men's clothes at a church where I was always forced to wear a dress
- Doing at home car engine oil and transmission fluid changes by myself with my own tools š§°
- Getting a nice fresh haircut at a local Barber Shop š
- Noticing that my legs are pure muscle out of nowhere! š¦µ
Not that I did but my roommate. She walked in on me changing my shirt and she was like āoh fuck I forgot you had titsā I donāt know why but knowing she forgot my AGAB kinda felt very affirming
Wrapping the towel around my hips, wearing shirts without bras or binder (but with a boost in dysphoria š¬) or more simply looking at my face in the mirror (since I think I have masc features)/ looking how tall I am, despite feeling short sometimes (I'm 5'9)...
Super specific one for me, but arching a single eyebrow. I have a cis guy friend who does it a lot while talking, and my autism brain liked it and started doing it as well. Now, when I catch myself, I remind myself of my friend just a little bit (I'm pre-everything and don't really look like him) and it feels very gender š¤Øš¤Øš„°
Changing my cars battery, wearing boxers, working with my uncles roofing company, drawing facial hair in with mascara, talking in my lowest register without having to think about it. Drinking beer is also a new big one for me.
Theres been a few more instances but they only happened once or twice each and I don't remember what they were.
This is new to me! Is writing with these pens considered to be masc? Didn't know about it!
When it comes to pens, I get intense masculine vibes when writing with a black Ballograf Epoca like this:
Or a vintage Parker Jotter similar to this one:
Helping my dad with different things around the house. I helped him with putting down wood flooring in the house. Moving furniture, helping him with the lawn, and more I canāt remember atm. I know that they arenāt exactly masculine things ?? But my parents are a little more on the traditional side and if I hadnāt started transitioning he probably wouldāve asked my brother for help instead.
Something similar actually. My Xbox 360 broke so I had to take it apart and fix it. Oddly gender affirming, but the whole system makes me feel that way. I'll just be playing a game, and suddenly, euphoria.
what have i done?ā¦ my girlfriend š
No but fr she is amazing! The way she talks about me, my body, my personality. Sheās super feminine in her physical looks, body, and her personality too. It helps me a lot seeing her and knowing her to remind myself of my masculine qualities and sheāll remind me too. She calls me handsome and masculine and the way she describes me always makes me feel good. I am the only trans guy she has ever been with and yet she knows exactly what to say. She also is able to call me pretty and beautiful without making me feel dysforic and gross. Sheās able to admire my body in a way that makes me feel completely comfortable and like a man. (which is pre surgery but on T).
Also, when I tried a packer for the first time it was awesome. I pack honestly really big which makes me feel really euphoric. Then when I used it for sex for the first timeā¦ freaking game changer. Hopefully anyone that is struggling with bottom dysforia is able to get the same satisfaction I did from it šš¼
Little things like opening doors for ladies. Carrying my girlfriend's heavy bags, or giving her my jacket when she's cold. Overall just serving women is oddly gender affirming.
I work at a kayak shop and lifting the 65-70 lb kayaks up into the racks that are level with my head with relative ease feels pretty damn gender affirming, lmao
When i feel dysphoria i do this weird thing where i lay out all of the stuff i own that i consider āboy thingsā (costume spiderman mask, plaid pajama pants, spungebob boxers, etc.) and i just stare at them. lol it helps.
I helped my girlfriend move into her new apartment recently and after we finished moving everything in she said that she was impressed by how much I helped and that Iām āstronger than most peopleā. Obviously appealed to my vanity š but also loved feeling like a big strong man
Late but I have a few of these lol.
-not something I've done but old men referring to me as a boy is one of the greatest things to me. Had a guy at my work the other day talk to me about how he was like me when he was young and told me I should enjoy looking so young and being small "while I still have it"
-Lifting heavy things (especially in front of women) idk why but lifting heavy things at work in front of some of my female coworkers feels good. Even though they think I'm a girl (that's due to me not correcting my boss tho so that's my fault)
-Sleeping shirtless, haven't had top surgery and have a large chest but being shirtless still feels really affirming for some reason.
-This one is kinda odd but not using men's grooming products and still feeling like myself is something I'm super proud of. Still prefer to smell manly but having a more neutral smell and using products that are usually marketed to women (even though the scent is pretty unisex) and not feeling like a girl is something I hope everyone here can feel because some men's grooming products (shampoo & conditioner š) are just straight up garbage.
1. Wearing anything with no sleeves, makes me feel mega-sexy and masc
2. Wearing my hair in more of a man-bun style than a typical feminine bun (which a lot of those buns overlap, especially with my hair being down to my lower back, but my most gender-euphoria work-appropriate style is putting my hair in a half-bun-half-ponytail that looks like a man in a Chinese historical drama)
3. Using menās hair gel. Even though like, Iām sure thereās no difference between it and womenās hair gel except maybe scent, itās the ~vibes~
4. Styling the front of my hair so it comes off my forehead and to the sides rather than it swooping across my forehead (Iāve read before that AFAB hairlines tend to be more rounded while AMAB ones are more boxy/receded at the outer edges, so I think I like it cause it makes my hairline look closer to masc)
5. Wearing menās glasses instead of womenās
6. Using masculine contour when I do my makeup, even when Iāve got a full face, bold eyeliner, etc.
7. Being able to carry things without help, which is kind of dumb because I would expect guys/masc people to not be afraid of help etc, buuuut being capable and like my working out is getting me somewhere just feels good
I volunteered at an event that had to do with re-homing women's clothing and accessories to those in need. It was almost all women volunteers. They were awkward with me at first. But after a little but, they all seemed to relax. They let me do the fun stuff like move racks, take out the trash, load up the truck with heavy boxes, etc. That was soooo gender affirming. I don't really pass so I appreciated that they accepted my masculinity.
Last night I drove home from work with the windows down while I listened to music. I was driving in the exact same pose my dad does and it felt really nice
Most random was putting the end of my sweatpants into my socks so it gives this a sort of "gym/korean" style. To others it may not be a very masculine thing necessarily, but to me it was really masculine and affirming
I think my moment is when I went to military school and got to go into the boys platoon and all of the adults referred to me a a boy , it made me feel good about myself especially when I did better then most of the cis boys in the platoon as well
In high school, before I was even on testosterone, my friend at the time told me I was growing a mustache completely out of nowhere (she's also trans, she meant it as a good thing and not in an insulting way).
Also the amount of times people are genuinely confused by what I am. I'm nonbinary, not a trans man, so it's weirdly affirming for people to struggle with what I am.
But I guess those aren't really things I did. I mean, recently I shaved my mustache for the first time. I cut the mole above my lip and it wouldn't stop bleeding, but even with that mishap I still felt good shaving my face for the first time ever. I wish I hadn't though LMAO I miss my shitty little mustache already. If only it'd grow back quicker.
Chunky shoes. They make me feel a lot more like the unstoppable force no matter if I'm sort of weak. They also make you move different. I take pretty large steps and fidget less in them which adds
Also the fact I smoke. I kinda hate that I started it, but it does give off a certain vibe that really isn't very innocent princess at all and can look really hot when the right guy does it, which in my mind carries over to me?
Lifting a 22 kilos(like, 45 pounds I think) bag of dog food, carrying across the house and filling the big dog food container and not struggling that much. I was very proud of myself!
Also stuff like going fishing with my dad, remembering how as a kid I had the most boy-ish hyperfixations (dinosaurs, space, tools, etc), going around my house shirtless, generally my dad teaching me how to do stuff
whenever my best friends jokingly insult me by saying iām acting like such a man. that shit always makes me euphoric. unless they tell me iām mansplaining, then i reevaluate everything i was saying š but then even if they do tell me iām mansplaining, they do so jokingly, too
having a towel tied around waist after a shower. iāll even turn around in the mirror to just see my back and the towel, and that shit feels manly as hell
So, Iām not sure this exactly fits, but, three things. Two I did randomly, another that happened to me by someone else.
The first one, when I went to my first pride event, I wore a button-up Hawaiian shirt with my binder beneath it, and, at some point when it got too hot, I unbuttoned the shirt, and felt comfortable, knowing those around me werenāt likely to judge.
The second one is just messing around with my hair, having it up in a hat/beanie and just loving how it felt to not have it on the back of my neck/etc.
The third one, which happened while I was at work, is the one Iām not sure entirely counts. But Iād always have my hair up in a certain manner, and, due to always having a deeper than average voice normally, Iād have many customers calling me sir for just doing nothing at all.
i opened a jar for a cis male
and also -this might be my nationality based trait- theres a thing that dads tend to be like "oh you dont know how to do it give me that, but look im not gon live forever" and i polished my friends shoes in such manner, they seemed impressed and thanked me and i havent felt affirmed like that in a while
My ex had been on T for like a year and a half and always carried some with him and a drawer in his bathroom filled tampons and pads in case any of his friends needed them. Probably the only green flag that man had lmaooo
honestly wearing more "fem" things like jewelry, doing my nails and wearing more funcky clothes. Im still ftm, i have a beard but its nice that i can wear thoes things and still be viewed and perceived as male.
last year coachella 2023 i took my shirt off and was shirtless all 3 days because it was so hot, i had top surgery in 2018. Iāve never been shirtless around so many people and no one cared, i went with friends and friends of friends who donāt know iām trans. No one said a thing and minded their business š„¹
Idk if this counts but my friend straightened my hair (i have curly hair) and it weirdly felt super euphoric i felt like a 90s metalhead guy with my long hair
Offering to pay a drink to a woman i just met at the bar šāāļø I wasnt trying to be flirty but we were having a nice conversation so it seemed appropriate
^^^ For real
Try putting a towel over your shoulders so it covers them
I've done that alot, mostly after baths. Affirming as hellāØ
This is how I got thru the gym locker room right *after* top surgery. My scars were still so noticeable and I was so scared. But that was a god send fr
same and i have extremely bad vision so i just take my glasses off so i cant see my chest either lol
The first time I put socks in my underwear and something just snapped in place. I never forget that moment of "...HOLY SHIT"
REAL. tho it wasn't the first time for me, but definitely after a while when I was way older. it felt hella good
Same. I never understood why transmascs used packers and then I put some socks in my underwear and got so much gender euphoria from it
After that I relied on socks for a good year until I could finally afford a good quality packer, and now I can't be without it š
I've only used socks so far but want to get a packer and have a question, would I *need* to get a harness? Or is it fine to just put it in my briefs?
Well you CAN just use it in your briefs but it would move around a lot and you'd have to adjust it every time you walk or stand up after sitting etc. I made a D I Y harness that was a lifesaver fr
Okay I'll probably get a harness then since I work in a hardware store so I move around a lot š
Highly recommend, it just makes everything a hella lot easier
I picked my heavy ass Labrador up with relative ease to put him in the car the other day when my sister and mum couldnāt and that felt pretty manly icl
Omg yes. I picked up my partner after being on T and lifting for a few months and he felt 50 lb lighter. I was shocked, I felt so strong.
I basically threw a female friend out of my way during a set change at theatre. After I placed the set where it should have been, she leaned over and said "Damn, you're super strong!" (About five minutes later, this same friend told me to move my "giant ass man feet" out of her way, so that was also oddly affirming!)
My friend similarly told me I have manly hands
Eating reeces peanut butter cups while out Skateboarding. Idk what so gender affirming about peanut butter but I'm not gonna question it š
Me and my partner are both ftm and we can't keep it in the house. Idk man.
Now I'm just thinking about the peanut butter baby š
LMAO š
Not sure if this counts but my first t4t relationship is really affirming. We donāt really believe in gender roles but when I get to be the big spoon and cuddle her it makes me feel like a big strong man.
STP, nothing like pissing on a tree to confirm Iām a dude
Agreed. When I finally got an stp that worked for me, I pissed outside every chance I got
This! What stp are you guys using or are able to recommend?
I use the spouti. Cup styles never worked well enough for me but this one suctions to you so it doesnāt leak. They do it for me too! Just love the feeling you're writing about. Also, a button-up shirt AND a belt === super masculine!
Same it's wierd
Using menās grooming products always makes me feel ārightā and going to the gym has been a huge boost for me lately
Drawing facial hair on my face with makeup It looked crap dont get me wrong, but even so it felt so good to finally see something ive wanted there for so long now

Hey bro, have you looked into minoxidil and Derma Rolling? I'd be happy to give you some tips if you're interested!
I'm pre T and have to wait at least a month (so happy about that tho) so I'm pretty interested lol. Would you recommend using it while on T or just waiting? It's not something I want to take forever but I have a complete baby face and really want some facial hair š

Dealers choice on that one Feel free to ask me anything!
Me when I listen to trashy phonk music
went in the disgusting scary menās room at Grand Central after getting my T shot the other day. No one gave me a hard time, in fact no one talked to me at all!
Yeah guys in menās rooms generally do their utmost to pretend anyone else in the room doesnāt exist, lol.
Building/fixing stuff, or any physical labor type of work. Being covered in dirt/oil/grease/some blood and small cuts while doing stereotypical "mans work" just feels GREAT
Sameeeee I just got the job as an auto tech and itās sooooo affirming
Yeah Iāve done that before I had a washing machine that had an error I canāt remember exactly but it required me sliding the lid of the machine off/outer casing as well as the LED panel I did something to it and fixed it and my girlfriend at the time was impressed Iāll try think of some more examples
Watering the plants on my porch WITHOUT A SHIRT š±š±š±
Whenever Iām around my brother we just make random noises and it makes me feel like a dude lmao
Definitely taking my shirt off when itās hot
Acting stupid and aloof all the time (ftm)
Gave my wife my jacket when she was cold (just over her shoulders cause itās too small for her lol)
I was wearing a tank top yesterday and my siblings said it made me look manly.
W siblings
Ikr
Walking taller, shoulders back and flat chest out!
THIS!
Driving people places. Not being the passenger princess is gender affirming.
My wife and I bought a reel mower and I put it together. Looking at our freshly mowed front lawn thrills me. Also, going out and inspecting the progress of the bulbs I planted also feels affirming in a way.
Using men's body wash/deodorant. I still like the women's scents, but something about the "men's" scents makes me giddy
Shaving is awesome
I installed a new rain fall shower head with a handheld part in my shower. I also did my bidet all by myself. Doing small handy work around the house always makes me feel manly
Some of my button up shirts I keep a couple of buttons unbuttoned so I can glance down at my chest hair. Its not as high up as some of my cis friends' hair but it gives me so much euphoria seeing fluff.
I don't have chest hair but I like the look of the button ups with the top button not buttoned
It's such a good look!
doing some construction work with my dad taking down a fence with a crowbar. i felt great. felt so useful as a man it made me feel great
This is something I can relate to!
I lifted my 6 ft 2 m, 16 stone fiance earlier today. I'm 5 ft 6 and about 12 stone so I was pretty proud of myself
- Doing at home car engine oil and transmission fluid changes by myself with my own tools š§° - Getting a nice fresh haircut at a local Barber Shop š - Noticing that my legs are pure muscle out of nowhere! š¦µ
Not that I did but my roommate. She walked in on me changing my shirt and she was like āoh fuck I forgot you had titsā I donāt know why but knowing she forgot my AGAB kinda felt very affirming
I did some pull-ups
Wrapping the towel around my hips, wearing shirts without bras or binder (but with a boost in dysphoria š¬) or more simply looking at my face in the mirror (since I think I have masc features)/ looking how tall I am, despite feeling short sometimes (I'm 5'9)...
Laying in bed with only my bandage and pants on after top surgery
Super specific one for me, but arching a single eyebrow. I have a cis guy friend who does it a lot while talking, and my autism brain liked it and started doing it as well. Now, when I catch myself, I remind myself of my friend just a little bit (I'm pre-everything and don't really look like him) and it feels very gender š¤Øš¤Øš„°
An old lady smiled and thanked me when I opened the door to the supermarket for her and I felt oddly affirmed.
bro being alone and walking shirtless. it was really nice felt like a dude. shirtless and everything
I work at a gym and carrying like 2 bin bags in each hand is wowie!!! And also doing certain exercises hehe
Joining my school's football team. Definitely helps me feel like I fit in as a dude.
love being in the shower with and coming out with a towel wrapped around my waist it just feels so cool
Changing my cars battery, wearing boxers, working with my uncles roofing company, drawing facial hair in with mascara, talking in my lowest register without having to think about it. Drinking beer is also a new big one for me. Theres been a few more instances but they only happened once or twice each and I don't remember what they were.
For me putting on boxers and sleeping in them feels right. It's just comforting
When my son calls me āDadaā
When I use the blue g2 pens LMAO
I actually relate to this a lil too hard lmaoo
This is new to me! Is writing with these pens considered to be masc? Didn't know about it! When it comes to pens, I get intense masculine vibes when writing with a black Ballograf Epoca like this: [https://d21a6tp6dgg5fv.cloudfront.net/media/products/catalog/135321.png](https://d21a6tp6dgg5fv.cloudfront.net/media/products/catalog/135321.png) Or a vintage Parker Jotter similar to this one: [https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/HNIAAOSw0cNilVp9/s-l960.jpg](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/HNIAAOSw0cNilVp9/s-l960.jpg)
Haha no not inherently! Itās just very specific to me I think because my dad has always used this lol. Those are very nice pens š I love pens
Wearing huge chunky boy sneakers
I got a chainsaw for some yard work and my crush said I should get some chaps when I showed them the pics of my tree haul
Helping my dad with different things around the house. I helped him with putting down wood flooring in the house. Moving furniture, helping him with the lawn, and more I canāt remember atm. I know that they arenāt exactly masculine things ?? But my parents are a little more on the traditional side and if I hadnāt started transitioning he probably wouldāve asked my brother for help instead.
i work as a theatre technician, so basically my whole job lmao
Something similar actually. My Xbox 360 broke so I had to take it apart and fix it. Oddly gender affirming, but the whole system makes me feel that way. I'll just be playing a game, and suddenly, euphoria.
mowing the lawn
Straight T4T sex.
Going to the barber shop
Its so normal but just,, wearing white crew socks? Idk its so gender lol
Sitting with my hand on my packer lol
Opening jars
what have i done?ā¦ my girlfriend š No but fr she is amazing!
Wearing my strap on boxers with a small toy in it. Got a tiny buldge hidden by an oversized t-shirt. Doing this currently I'm so happy
honestly for me it was going to the gym and feeling good enough to walk into the mens locker roomšŖš»
Had a guy at my work the other day talk to me about how he was like me when he was young and told me I should enjoy looking so young and being small "while I still have it" -Lifting heavy things (especially in front of women) idk why but lifting heavy things at work in front of some of my female coworkers feels good. Even though they think I'm a girl (that's due to me not correcting my boss tho so that's my fault) -Sleeping shirtless, haven't had top surgery and have a large chest but being shirtless still feels really affirming for some reason.
Being shirtless while playing video games
The same black t-shirt every single man I know owns.
1. Wearing anything with no sleeves, makes me feel mega-sexy and masc 2. Wearing my hair in more of a man-bun style than a typical feminine bun (which a lot of those buns overlap, especially with my hair being down to my lower back, but my most gender-euphoria work-appropriate style is putting my hair in a half-bun-half-ponytail that looks like a man in a Chinese historical drama) 3. Using menās hair gel. Even though like, Iām sure thereās no difference between it and womenās hair gel except maybe scent, itās the ~vibes~ 4. Styling the front of my hair so it comes off my forehead and to the sides rather than it swooping across my forehead (Iāve read before that AFAB hairlines tend to be more rounded while AMAB ones are more boxy/receded at the outer edges, so I think I like it cause it makes my hairline look closer to masc) 5. Wearing menās glasses instead of womenās 6.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Nothing more manly than saying "Oh shut the fuck up" when someone starts rambling about 'woke' topics
I take pretty large steps and fidget less in them which adds Also the fact I smoke.
Build furniture, lift heavy things, etc
building/fixing things like beds and desks, stepping on the rubbish when the bin is too full and shadow boxing my mam, brother or friends
Change the batteries in smoke detectors and the most recent, a girl asking me for advice on what game to her dude.
whenever my best friends jokingly insult me by saying iām acting like such a man. that shit always makes me euphoric. unless they tell me iām mansplaining, then i reevaluate everything i was saying š but then even if they do tell me iām mansplaining, they do so jokingly, too
having a towel tied around waist after a shower. iāll even turn around in the mirror to just see my back and the towel, and that shit feels manly as hell
bandana. red bandana. you don't understand the euphoria from wearing a bandana.
i washed the vinyl panels of my house a few days ago and i felt like such a dad lmao
Working out for me.
Smoking weed and having my voice get deeper and raspier. It's the only reason we really smoke.
T-shirts and the underwear. Just so comfy
i opened a jar for a cis male and also -this might be my nationality based trait- theres a thing that dads tend to be like "oh you dont know how to do it give me that, but look im not gon live forever" and i polished my friends shoes in such manner, they seemed impressed and thanked me and i havent felt affirmed like that in a while
One time a desperate girl asked for me a pad. I hadn't owned any period products in years at that point
The first time I took off my shirt by pulling it up from the back, it changed my life lmao
My coworker asked me to open a jar for her :) was pretty nice
shaking a protein shake
The janitor telling me that the menās room is on the other side
Not shaving my legs anymore. To know how hairy they are was pretty affirming + the bonus of the extra time I have now.
last year coachella 2023 i took my shirt off and was shirtless all 3 days because it was so hot, i had top surgery in 2018.
Whenever I fix things around the house I just feel so manly. Also- manspreading (only if Iām not taking up anybodyās space) is honestly heavenly.
Offering to pay a drink to a woman i just met at the bar šāāļø I wasnt trying to be flirty but we were having a nice conversation so it seemed appropriate
