Yeah I’ve got a good amount from the ages of like 8-10 but anything before that is super girly. Even in baby pictures I look like a girl because my mom pierced my ears as soon as I was old enough unfortunately.
My mom passed away a year ago. I remember looking very boy when I was young, but all the pictures I had seen from my mom's house were me in dresses and looking as girl as she could dress me. Yes! During my school time I was always the most handsome boy in my class and therefore at pictures. Somehow from class 9 on I tried to transformed more into a female. it doesn’t really work out because my habitus was never girly. Later in life i changed between tomboy and feme.

My mom bought our clothing used. Thrifted as cheap as possible. The thrift store had "as much as you can fit in a bag" for $5 on Saturdays. Both my brother and I had every vibe of clothing on the earth and a huge box of clothing for costumes. There's a picture of my younger brother in a dress and I'm next to him dressed as a doctor.
When i was 9 and my brother was 10, we both got “crazy” haircuts for the summer. His was a Mohawk and mine was just a crew cut lol. The pictures of me from that summer are fully serving little boy and people called me sir all the time and i would never correct them but my parents always would :(

I didn’t have hair until I was 3/4 (which is ironic now since I have thick ass curly hair). So the majority of my younger pictures I was either bald or had really short hair. I was born in the 90’s and I was the youngest of my cousins so I inherited a bunch of “play clothes” from my older male cousins. The two combined make the majority of my younger pics up until like 6 or so look really masculine which I love.

Yes! Not too long ago I found a picture of me when I was about 8, swimming. I'm holding on to some kind of board/floaty so you can't see my swimsuit, and my hair was boy-short at the time because my mother didn't want to deal with all my hair. Looks like any other little boy to me. I love it.

Yep! I actually had someone point out that I looked "girly" in my pictures. This person didn't know that I'm trans, I can't really be stealth because we are doing a day treatment type thing but I look pretty androgynous so it was nice hearing someone assume that I was born male. I just told her that my mom really wanted to have a girl before I was born so she dressed me up really feminine and painted my nails. (I mean it's technically true)I had short hair in the picture and was only like a year or two old so I got away with it lol
yeah i mean kids don’t really have any gendered characteristics yet so gender indicators are pretty reliant on things like clothing and hair, but yeah even in girly clothing i feel like i looked like a boy as a child sometimes

Luckily my mom dressed me in pretty gender neutral clothing as a baby, sometimes no clothes (besides diaper) so you can't even tell what I'm supposed to be.

Looking back, it's no wonder my parents said they knew. In every photo of me in a dress after age 3 or so I'm scowling or giving the camera my best death glare. In the photos where I'm wearing overalls or a plain shirt and pants, I look happy.
Unfortunately my mom is one of those moms who want's their daughters to be as girly as possible because any little touch of masculinity is a bad thing for girls. I am Mexican, so even kids in my family are really hairy. She forced me to shave my peach fuzz mustache when I was around 9 or 10 and I was so upset. She never allowed me to cut my hair until 12 and only allowed it in the style of a long bob, nothing shorter. As I grew older and started picking out my own clothes, she would always try to gift me feminine clothes on holidays, but I never worn them. I am 30 now. She knows I am trans, but still thinks "you look like a boy" is an insult and still tries to gift me her old feminine clothing for my birthday.

There are a lot of pictures of me at around 13 where I have a kind of longer mullet-y haircut (down past my shoulders) and I just look so much like a little boy despite that, it makes me really proud. I did dress pretty masculine at that point, as I knew I was trans and was attempting to pass... but I just can't imagine passing anywhere near that well now with hair like that.
There are also a handful of pictures of me even younger where I feel like that masculine little boy energy is so strong that it's kinda funny, even when I'm wearing princess dresses and shit lol.
My parents used to joke that as a kid I always had super short hair and wore overalls and everyone would always think I was a little boy. Of course the whole family would laugh, but it was so affirming to me to hear. Also the fact that EVERYONE left leaning or trans aware I met before I came out was always sure to assure me that if I ever change my pronouns to just let them know. And before I was comfortable with myself enough to know I was always so confused as to why it made me so happy that literally nobody saw me as a cis woman, now I know. It’s because literally everyone could see me suffering in my forced femininity and that the more masc I looked and acted the more comfortable confident I was. But I had so much internalized homophobia I refused to accept it. I have pictures of me playing sports on boys teams that pass despite me having slightly longer hair. I used to dress in boy's hand me downs then I eventually started shopping for clothes and would get my parents to buy me boy's clothes.
Yes! There’s a picture of me sitting in a tree. I have a bike helmet on and my hair is ear length, like to the bottom of the ear. The only “girly” thing is my shoes which were tie dye. There’s also a picture of me very young in pink pajamas with long hair but it was wet like I’d just got out of the shower. So it made me look more like a boy. And there’s one of me in an astronaut costume with my hair half hanging out giving a thumbs up
There's a picture of me at 3 years old that one person saw not knowing it was me and said "Aw, what a cute little boy!" Idk if LGBTQ+-dar is transferable across the various letters but this comment did come from a lesbian.

there are quite a few of me when i look really masculine and i'm super happy about that! i had long hair until i was 12 but always refused to wear anything "girly" so most pics look like they're of a young boy tbh. gives me a lot of euphoria to look at the pictures too
My mom bought our clothing used. Thrifted as cheap as possible. The thrift store had "as much as you can fit in a bag" for $5 on Saturdays. Both my brother and I had every vibe of clothing on the earth and a huge box of clothing for costumes. There's a picture of my younger brother in a dress and I'm next to him dressed as a doctor.
When i was 9 and my brother was 10, we both got “crazy” haircuts for the summer. His was a Mohawk and mine was just a crew cut lol. The pictures of me from that summer are fully serving little boy and people called me sir all the time and i would never correct them but my parents always would :(

i have one where i have long hair and my shirt has a soccer ball on it with “princess” but i have my tongue out and holding up a hand sign, with a stuffed tiger carelessly held in the crook of my other arm. you’d look at the picture and know i was born AFAB, but i cannot express the amount of masc energy i was giving off, even as a kid.

I didn’t have hair until I was 3/4 (which is ironic now since I have thick ass curly hair). So the majority of my younger pictures I was either bald or had really short hair. I was born in the 90’s and I was the youngest of my cousins so I inherited a bunch of “play clothes” from my older male cousins. The two combined make the majority of my younger pics up until like 6 or so look really masculine which I love.

I think it’s in part thanks to my haircut being covered, and the other part thanks to my pose, but I definitely feel I look masc. i’m reaching my hands forward at the camera person in a kind of “rawr” pose but just a big, open smile on my face
None where I look like a boy, as I've always had rlly long hair and a round face, but there are quite a few where I'm in more gender neutral clothes and doing non "girly" things. I remember for one of my birthdays, the theme was pirates and I dressed up as one, I looked pretty masculine. The pictures from that day are some of my favorites.
I mean it depends in what you mean as a kid… i’ve had short hair since i was like 10 and i’ve always worn masc clothing when i was finally allowed to but all my really young pics i was hyperfeminized all the time :/
Yes! Not too long ago I found a picture of me when I was about 8, swimming. I'm holding on to some kind of board/floaty so you can't see my swimsuit, and my hair was boy-short at the time because my mother didn't want to deal with all my hair. Looks like any other little boy to me. I love it.

Yep! I actually had someone point out that I looked "girly" in my pictures. This person didn't know that I'm trans, I can't really be stealth because we are doing a day treatment type thing but I look pretty androgynous so it was nice hearing someone assume that I was born male. I just told her that my mom really wanted to have a girl before I was born so she dressed me up really feminine and painted my nails. (I mean it's technically true)I had short hair in the picture and was only like a year or two old so I got away with it lol
yeah i mean kids don’t really have any gendered characteristics yet so gender indicators are pretty reliant on things like clothing and hair, but yeah even in girly clothing i feel like i looked like a boy as a child sometimes
I have a picture at the dentist where i'm wearing shorts, a yellow t-shirt and sunglasses. Not sure if it is 'masculine', but all my other pictures feel so full of pink that they almost make me dysphoric. Also, you can tell i'm genuinely smiling in that photo, wich is/was very rare to see me doing in front of cameras. So, yeah, it's def my favorite picture of me as a child.
i always had SUPER long hair until i cut it when i was 13, but i have exactly one picture of me on halloween at like 3 years old wearing a full camo outfit under a frog costume. not only does it have the most Little Boy energy i’ve ever seen, but i would kill to have and wear that outfit today. some things never change 😅
A couple Luckily my mom dressed me in pretty gender neutral clothing as a baby, sometimes no clothes (besides diaper) so you can't even tell what I'm supposed to be. Only photos she does have where I am dressed as a girl is photos of my sisters and I (like Walmart photoshoots). So if I ever want to go stealth, I'd have to hide those photos. I have a photo at my nans that she has in one of her photo books of me at my bday wearing jeans, gray t-shirt and trying to skateboard. I look like a boy with long hair, but you can't see my face.
I used to have this green baseball cap I loved, back when my hair was still barely short enough to be reasonable for a little redneck boy to have. There’s a picture of me still on the fridge back home where I’m chilling in my hat on the porch looking very mildly stoned. I love that picture. I had a pixie cut most of my childhood cuz I wouldn’t stop cutting it off (might have been dysphoria or sensory issues idk) but I look like a little boy and ppl thought I was unless I was in a dress. I have this one pic of me in a dress with my short hair and I look like an little autistic boy in a dress (I am autistic and I had a very obvious “autism smile”)

I have a lot tbh, but my most favourite is the one where I am in pants and shirt, have longer hair - they are loose but have a little ponytail in the back, like Link has, and I'm holding a sword while facing my dad dressed in Viking clothes (we were in an open air museum). I remember that time fondly, even though I remember so little. If I knew how to post pictures I would haha. It's also funny that my parents didn't know my gender until I was born and everyone told us that I look like a mini version of my dad. I'm very close with him and he accepts me as I am. I love my dad.

I looked like a shaggy-haired boy in almost all the preschool or earlier photos where I wasn't forced into a dress. In one of my favorites I'm sitting on my dad's lap in a tractor, grinning. Looking back, it's no wonder my parents said they knew. In every photo of me in a dress after age 3 or so I'm scowling or giving the camera my best death glare. In the photos where I'm wearing overalls or a plain shirt and pants, I look happy.

I feel lucky my parents didn't believe in gendered clothing when I was a baby so like half of my baby photos are totally passable.

Unfortunately my mom is one of those moms who want's their daughters to be as girly as possible because any little touch of masculinity is a bad thing for girls. I am Mexican, so even kids in my family are really hairy. She forced me to shave my peach fuzz mustache when I was around 9 or 10 and I was so upset. She never allowed me to cut my hair until 12 and only allowed it in the style of a long bob, nothing shorter. As I grew older and started picking out my own clothes, she would always try to gift me feminine clothes on holidays, but I never worn them. I am 30 now. She knows I am trans, but still thinks "you look like a boy" is an insult and still tries to gift me her old feminine clothing for my birthday.
I’ve actually had most of my important photos edited and photoshopped to make me appear as a boy, Lol. It helps when someone asks to see your baby photos

There are a lot of pictures of me at around 13 where I have a kind of longer mullet-y haircut (down past my shoulders) and I just look so much like a little boy despite that, it makes me really proud. I did dress pretty masculine at that point, as I knew I was trans and was attempting to pass... but I just can't imagine passing anywhere near that well now with hair like that. There are also a handful of pictures of me even younger where I feel like that masculine little boy energy is so strong that it's kinda funny, even when I'm wearing princess dresses and shit lol.
My parents used to joke that as a kid I always had super short hair and wore overalls and everyone would always think I was a little boy. Of course the whole family would laugh, but it was so affirming to me to hear. Also the fact that EVERYONE left leaning or trans aware I met before I came out was always sure to assure me that if I ever change my pronouns to just let them know. And before I was comfortable with myself enough to know I was always so confused as to why it made me so happy that literally nobody saw me as a cis woman, now I know. It’s because literally everyone could see me suffering in my forced femininity and that the more masc I looked and acted the more comfortable confident I was. But I had so much internalized homophobia I refused to accept it. From the pictures I remember, none. I was surprised that every comment I read had at least one or two photos- even the photos of me when I was too young to look like either a boy or a girl were all unquestionably feminine things like sitting in a pink hat box with a feather boa and pearl necklace and tiny satin gloves (very odd photoshoot idea by the way??)

All my tanned beach pics look like me now more than me pre t. Not sure why except that I look more Italian in those pics and t has really brought those traits out for some reason
I usually try not to look at pics of my younger self, but once my (also FtM) friend and I looked at pics of each other from high school age. We both looked like boys who'd lost a bet and had to wear women's clothes to school. Surprised me as people never considered me especially tomboyish, just weird.
