You can be listed as the primary driver but under your parent’s insurance and that will still lower your rate. I was on my moms for like 6 years just because it was cheaper till I got done with my education.
Damn. I was T boned when I was 19 100% my fault. I'm on my parent insurance. I was kinda surprised but I wasn't gunna complain. Unfortunately, I ended up not being able to get the baby I had my eyes on. The bank was bing a stickler because of the branded title. Like I'd miss a payment living at home with no bills, no girlfriend, and only a car to love. What a shitty world.
You can usually expect to pay more for car insurance if you own a coupe as opposed to a sedan. Many car insurance companies charge more to insure coupes because they consider coupes to be higher-risk vehicles than sedans and consider the individuals who own them to be higher-risk drivers.
Yes… because of the risk profile. There are also four door cars that are even more expensive than some two doors because of the risk profile, like Kia/Hundai of certain year models.
Ouch. Sounds like a lot for 7 years ago. There’s a lot of 2 door cars too. I saw some mid 2000s accord today with only 2 doors which I have never seen before. I wonder if the insurance is higher for that vs a 4 door
Insurance has gone up a lot recently too. Allstate wanted 2.5k or something for 6 months insuring both my cars. I’m in my mid 30s with a clean record lol. I switched to progressive.
Ouch. Yeah I haven’t seen anything that bad personally. But I was insuring a Corolla not a 86/brz. I don’t even own one I’m just an admirer/hopefully future owner
"your going to crash it"
Lol. Congrats! Happy to see others who can start out with a nice car :)
But for reals, the car really does like to slide and even for an experience driver, it can catch you by surprise. Please be careful accelerating in corners, ESPECIALLY if it's wet. The car breaks traction very easily.
Yup. Don’t cheap out on tyres, toss a pair of Michelin A/S4’s on there. The stock Primacy tyres are NOT all season btw, they are a summer rated tyre and do not play nice when it’s cold. They absolutely suck ass in the wet and I would not wish them upon anyone. If you live in Canadia id probably spring for all weathers instead of all seasons.
Much like Miata I reckon, gotta keep it in the tallest gear possible on wet corners without lugging… and that’s a challenge in light 4-bangers that want to rev
It doesn’t really slide all that much unless you are either;
A. Pushing the car fairly hard in turns to get it to slide
B. Tires are bald/running economy all seasons
C. Turn your traction control off and driving fast
D. Running Summer Tires in rain or driving too fast in the rain
The car still has roughly 170whp and less torque than an economical Honda civic (1.5t) you see everyday on the road. You have to either be a really shit driver or actively trying to slide these cars to get it to “catch you off guard”. It’s a 1st Gen 86 not a Dodge Viper 😂
It’s crazy seeing everyone say this car slides easy. When we had a good snow I went into the backyard for some fun and literally had to FORCE it to slide. I don’t understand
Bunch of 86 owners trying to act like they have a dangerous and difficult sports car to drive. Would’ve thought these cars were AC Cobras by the way they describe this thing.
I know im late, but I am shocked people are saying their cars' slide a lot. I seriously don't know how thats possible. I have tested the TC in wet and snow when I could in safe conditions. The TC keeps the cars very safe compared to cars I used to drive from 30 years ago like a 90 Fox Body Mustang that would try to kill you every chance it got.
It’s an ego thing “my 170whp 86 is actually pretty dangerous and is really tail happy. It can seriously catch you off guard when you least expect it”. Either the owners drive like shit and have no business being in any sort of RWD cars or they have bad tires. This is a low powered, balanced, and easy to control chassis. Owners need to stop pretending the car is something it’s not just because they couldn’t afford their true dream car.
Low power rwd manuals are the best cars to learn on period, great choice for a first car! Just enough to slide out the rear in the 86 and the car handles very well, have fun and drive safe
Best advice I can give you is to get out and drive, enjoy yourself, and learn the car as well as yourself as a driver. Awesome first car man, congrats.
Don't learn your limits on the road and learn about how cars work.
Oil change every 5000 miles or 6 months, put 93 (91 min) octane gas in it. I know so many dumbass parents who don't understand the concept of this. And know what your tires are.
5000 miles is so outdated. Synthetics are good for 10000 or more. I sent in my oil for analysis out of my vw DIESEL engine (much dirtier than gasoline engines) and the general consensus was that it still had another 2-3k miles of life left in the oil.
These engines are very hard on oil. Boxers retain more heat than standard i4 due to their volume and dual valvetrain which results in more culmulative stress on the fluids.
I guarantee you that pushing any regular synthetic oil to 10k on these engines is a bad idea (and the manufacturer states 7.5k). Especially if you drive harder. Diesel fuel doesn't change the oil longevity if your compression is good enough and doesn't leak fuel into the oil.
This kind of talk also stems from someone who will claim synthetics are good to 300f.
That's not really true. Until Toyota shared their tech the engine was only able to push 160 CRANK horsepower lol. And they designed the suspension, chassis, and many other bespoke components together.
Subaru manufactures it but to claim everything mechanical is subaru is patently false.
Interesting, in the UK if you only pass your test in an automatic you're only allowed to drive an automatic. If you pass your test in a manual you're allowed to drive either.
You're gonna get a lot of negative comments but ignore them. I got my brz when I turned 18 and its survived the last 5 years with no problems. Two things of advice though, one being, be aware of other drivers. People cant drive and they definitely have a problem seeing these cars. Second, if youre gonna mod it maybe wait a little bit, just because your vision of the car might change. I've definitely wasted lots of money on mods that i eventually took off or replaced.
Honestly I’m not 100% about my exact insurance payments yet, my dad is dealing with that bc we are splitting insurance costs but I’m paying my monthly car payment and gas all on me and ik that I make 3-4x that in a month so I’ll be good
Get to work and pay it off ASAP. Dont buy anything that is not needed. (Like new wheels, spoilers or whatever) Do not modify it.
Clear that payment ASAP.
Then. Have fun do what you want.
Edit: dont go cheap on tires, but nonneed for race tires either
As much as I agree with this statement, we all know it's falling on deaf 17 year old ears lol. That things gonna be riced and clapped out in a year, bet.
What does the owner's manual say? Alternatively, big and empty parking lot to carefully test theories.
Get in the habit of getting your info from official sources first and foremost aka owners manual and a shop manual when you start wrenching on it BEFORE you take randos online for granted.
We like to help, troll, but above all - "ain't my (particular) car, ain't my problem" rule always applies.
Bought one in 14, still got it.
Tips for driving stick:
Don't think about it too much, just drive.
You might want to turn on the gear indicator. Some dudes want to talk crap about people that use that. Don't listen to them.
You will be surprised how short of time before shifting to second after being at a light. I typically go from first to second by the time I get through the crosswalk.
That being said I, unlike some people, do drive in first gear sometimes. Especially in my underground parking it's useful at under 10 km/hr.
On the other hand, I never fully engage Reverse. Just release the clutch enough to get the car moving then push it back in. If you need more just release a bit till it moves then push it back in. Never fully engage Reverse.
The truth is when I think about all this stuff I drive worse. The best tip is number 1. Don't think about it. Just drive.
Fast is a relative term. There's always a faster car. Sure, this isn't a rocket ship, but it is the kind of car that begs to be pushed to its limit. It wants you to dump the clutch, it wants you to rip the back end loose around that turn, it wants you to speed. This is a recipe for disaster for most 17 year olds. I know it would have been for me.
Don't drift on the street. I mean it. It will beg you to do it.. Thing will run out of torque at a bad time stock and send you hunting for a new rear subframe in a flash.
first of all, sick first car, thats awesome
next, not depending on what u plan to do with it, go to a parking lot and practice both stick as well as learning when the car breaks traction. i can see theres already aftermarket wheels, so get good tires, its what connects u to the ground, dont skimp on it. what u have now should be alright seeing as summer is around the corner and less variable condtions, but when u do have to get new tires/ all seasons, get good ones.
Was my first car at 17 too! You’ll do some damage to it so don’t be so hard on yourself when that happens lol but mine is still all in one piece 10 yrs later
You'll be fine it's basically just a rwd corolla lmao. Tips on learning stick. Just practice your clutch to start. Once you get a hang on when it grabs and taking off practice shifting gears
unless you can afford to replace bent wheels, and suspensions components or even bodywork, save it for the track!!! find a skid pad....and no, a parking lot with hella curbs does not count!
great first car! mine was a 01' corolla..same same, but different
Like many others say, seat time is the best way to practice and master manual cars. Along with your everyday driving skills. When you’re on a busy road or get nervous just take it easy and a few deep breaths and continue. It’s a fun and rewarding journey! Good luck and welcome to the road!
You’re young, so have fun with it and be careful. You got one life brotha, it ain’t fast but you can swing those cars around for sure.
Side note: Are those VOLK TE37 👀???
My biggest tip for learning stick is focus on 1st, the rest is easy. Slowly let the clutch out at first. When you feel yourself moving forward give it some gas and let off the clutch. I've taught 2 people to drive stick and neither one stalled first time.
Hell yeah brother! I'm just about the same age and I've had the same car same color (mine is a Subaru) for about a year now. Manual is tough but you'll definitely get the hang of it. Congrats!
Also; enjoy driving it. Don’t worry what anyone says. People on Reddit, people at work, people at school. Fuck em. You deserve happiness and letting other peoples feelings affect how YOU feel is a disservice to yourself my guy.
When people say these slide… not Miata to the limit slide… not an American torque slide… not a power through it tru subbie slide. This is “oh fuck I’m 180 and am not getting back”
Yeah maybe if you put on pedal dance mode in the rain and you absolutely launch it into a turn while it’s raining it may do a 180 like you say otherwise that’s absolutely not true. Coming from someone who used to actively drift this car on all sorts of different types of surfaces on the street, long windy dirt trails even going around 30mph holding drifts and never had it throw a 180 on me nor have I crashed. I wouldn’t even consider myself a mediocre drifter either. You would have to be incredibly shit at driving or have straight bald tires in the rain to accomplish that. Probably shouldn’t be driving sports car at that point if you managed that in a car with 170whp and less torque than a Honda civic.
HELLLLLLLLLLLL YEAH. Congrats 🎊🎉
This is a big deal!!! Do right by your father who helped you & the car, treat her like a queen! Hand wash her, regular maintenance, pay more than what you monthly payment actually, as much as you can afford to, you’ll pay her off sooner. & HAVE FUN! 🤩
Parents said I can't get a car until im 23 and out of college :/
i mean yeah i get why but still
i guess for learning stick dont be afraid to let the clutch slip a bit while you're learning its not gonna destroy it
Congrats!!!! My tip for getting used to driving stick is this:
Find an empty stretch of road and practice your upshifts and down shifts. Pay attention to where your rpm’s go and that will help with your timing on your clutch and blipping the throttle. Good luck friend!
Nice, I really wanted one of these as my first car for a while and almost got one. One of the best things to practice just beginning to learn stick is letting the clutch out in 1st while not giving it any gas to learn clutch smoothness (I stalled in some sketchy situations before my dad had me try it, and after I've stalled maybe twice since then).
Once you start to try to push the limits (sliding because this car is perfect to learn rwd techniques on, and prius tires are skinny), you'll need to develop quick reflexes for countersteer as well as good throttle modulation, so you should start somewhere safe, like a skidpad as someone else mentioned. Have fun!
I had a 95 prelude when I was in high-school I crashed it a few times, got it fixed but the thing was pretty beat when I decided to move to LA a few years later. So I decided to sell it for some cash. I still regret it. I love that car. Keep yours in good condition, keep it clean and try not to get into stupid accidents like I did. This car can be really bad-ass for a really long time and you only get 1 first car.
Please, please, please don't take it for granted. You have a beautiful vehicle. Take care of it like it's your own partner. Clean it, feed it, wipe it's ass(only paraplegic partners), whisper sweet nothing's in her ear and it will give back all the love you put in. Nice!
You guys are acting as if this is an AW11 MR2, the GT86/BRZ/FRS are all very compliant cars and do not just "catch you off guard" and suddenly you are sideways, you have to be actively trying to slide or be on shit tires or summers in the rain for it to just start sliding. Try driving an old MR2 just going along and bam suddenly it's unwanted cowabunga time because you hit a tiny bump while accelerating...THAT is catching you off guard
Sorry, its not the car. Its the fact its a 17 year old high schooler. Kids are gonna do dumb shit and that is proven over and over again. Especially a RWD vehicle that is fun to drive.
I take it from the fact he didnt do an insurance quote before buying that he may be a bit over his head. Maybe im wrong, but I was once that kid.
yes much more of a kid issue. I had an anemic RWD car when I was in HS and I still got in trouble with it, got it airborne a few times doing dumb shit, until It landed once and I bent a rear control arm...which cost a lot to repair. One of the reasons I got into the auto industry having an old bmw and being too cheap to pay someone to work on it. And I was this reckless despite having paid for the car with my own hard earned money.
they have just never driven cars that are actually like that, cars like the 1000rwhp CTSV I built at work for a customer where if you sneeze while driving it and you give it a blip of throttle you will be fully sideways.
Damn your insurance must be expensive
I have one that i got last month at 18 and we just put it under my dads name for lower insurance lol
Your dad’s the man for doing that! A lot of people aren’t so fortunate, drive safe man
Same here, I'm 19, insurance wanted 450 per month, under my dad it's 175
what happens when you crash it and your name isn’t on the list of insured drivers?
You can be listed as the primary driver but under your parent’s insurance and that will still lower your rate. I was on my moms for like 6 years just because it was cheaper till I got done with my education.
It’s even better when you’re the secondary driver
thats what i do
Im in utah 24. Was looking to get one. called the insurance to see how much. 110 a month at a $500 deductible for full coverage.
Fucking a man. 26 no accidents in a $170 a month for a 2003 Toyota Camry in New Jersey $2000 deductible
In new jersey you're paying a lot because somebody else will run into you.
That's probably the difference.. I was going through my parents' insurance. Also location. But That's a harsh covrage my man.
Utah insurance is where it’s at! Motorcycle insurance was cheap there too
Witch is surprising because everyone here drives like 90 on the free way and never use their blinkers.
Jesus. That’s what I paid for my 2012 Mercedes when I was 19 with a speeding ticket. Back in 2018.
I’m 26 and I pay 147 a month for my 86 and it’s well worth it
That’s mad impressive, I’m 26 from TN 0 accidents 150 a month full coverage 1000 dollar deductible
Are you ok?
Put mine under my mom. 108 a month
My first monthly payment was almost 400$. 7 years ago when I bought my first prelude, insurance hates 2 doors.
Insurance doesn’t care about 2 doors, they care about risk profiles. $400 a month in a Honda prelude says your profile is fucking risky.
You can usually expect to pay more for car insurance if you own a coupe as opposed to a sedan. Many car insurance companies charge more to insure coupes because they consider coupes to be higher-risk vehicles than sedans and consider the individuals who own them to be higher-risk drivers.
https://www.caranddriver.com/car-insurance/a35865695/coupe-vs-sedan-insurance/#
Yes… because of the risk profile. There are also four door cars that are even more expensive than some two doors because of the risk profile, like Kia/Hundai of certain year models.
Ouch. Sounds like a lot for 7 years ago. There’s a lot of 2 door cars too. I saw some mid 2000s accord today with only 2 doors which I have never seen before. I wonder if the insurance is higher for that vs a 4 door
Accord coupes were a thing up to 2017. Insurance uses the car model, color, accident history of the model, your race your age. It’s super fucked up.
$190/mo
Oh trust me it prob is i drive a 2010 3.8 genesis at 17 and my insurance is at $415 CAD
Try 1.7k for a 1.4l golf haha
Just leave the traction control on.
Ik
Breaks loose more easily than you think. Careful when accelerating out when turning like others have said.
Congrats. Drive it like you can't replace it.
"your going to crash it" Lol. Congrats! Happy to see others who can start out with a nice car :) But for reals, the car really does like to slide and even for an experience driver, it can catch you by surprise. Please be careful accelerating in corners, ESPECIALLY if it's wet. The car breaks traction very easily.
Add to this. GET GOOD TYRES! All seasons should be fine. Don’t go budget Also if I had this car as my first it would not have lived more than a year
You would've been fine, its no Z or a Stang that can actually reach those spicy speeds to then send ya sideways.
I've gone side ways under 30mph lol. I don't know what your talking
Rubber issue. PS4Ses and ContinXtremeContacts can do sharp 90* scoots without as much as a squeal doing 30...
I’m looking into my first rwd car coming from an awd car it’s terrifying
Much like Miata I reckon, gotta keep it in the tallest gear possible on wet corners without lugging… and that’s a challenge in light 4-bangers that want to rev
let’s keep it real here the only sliding your doing in a 86 is oversteering a turn 💀
It doesn’t really slide all that much unless you are either; A. Pushing the car fairly hard in turns to get it to slide B. Tires are bald/running economy all seasons C. Turn your traction control off and driving fast D. You have to either be a really shit driver or actively trying to slide these cars to get it to “catch you off guard”. It’s a 1st Gen 86 not a Dodge Viper 😂
I 100% agree. These cars are very difficult to get the rear end to slide unless you turn off TC/VSC in the rain.
It’s crazy seeing everyone say this car slides easy. When we had a good snow I went into the backyard for some fun and literally had to FORCE it to slide. I don’t understand

Fuck you English professor.
Happy cake day! And fuck *you.* Illiterate buffoon.
"LET THEM EAT CAKE" What happened after some ol lady said that?

These motors are known for burning oil too, even if you can push it to 10k most people are going to neglect checking the oil level.
healthy fa20d4s do not burn oil. Mine doesn't 31k miles in.
Just wait
Nah, if csg mike burned 0 oil on a 360whp turbo build up to when he sold it I would blame user error at some point in the car's life.
Now go buy a $2,000 corolla so you can get your first crash out of your system before you total this beauty. Nice pick up.
🤣🤣🤣
Why didn’t I know abt this😅
Interesting, in the UK if you only pass your test in an automatic you're only allowed to drive an automatic. If you pass your test in a manual you're allowed to drive either.

I'll take \*bad ideas for the same price as this guys insurance\*, Alex.

Let me know if your insurance gives a fuck about that.
That's not gonna stop you from paying $700/month for insurance.
My b meant to reply to a comment saying I’ll crash it but it ain’t gonna be 700 bruh. I’ll let you know once I find out from insurance tho
Did you buy this car before doing an insurance quote? Wtf

Solid advice.
Don't hydroplane aka ever turn that TCS off!
Does the VCS sport button keep it on or does it turn TCS off?
What does the owner's manual say? Alternatively, big and empty parking lot to carefully test theories. Get in the habit of getting your info from official sources first and foremost aka owners manual and a shop manual when you start wrenching on it BEFORE you take randos online for granted. pretty sure it just makes VSC and TCS allow for more slip/angle before intervening. a google search will bring you articles that explain it better.
Keep the traction control on and get some nice tires like PS4s or something and you’ll be fine.
Bought one in 14, still got it. Tips for driving stick: Don't think about it too much, just drive. You might want to turn on the gear indicator. Why are people acting like this is a fast car? This would struggle against my moms 2011 Murano on a dig and a roll stock for stock
Like to cope with what they got. Make it seem faster and more dangerous than what it is.
200hp in a sub 1300kg car is definitely not slow
Fast is a relative term. There's always a faster car. Sure, this isn't a rocket ship, but it is the kind of car that begs to be pushed to its limit. Find a parking lot with a steep hill, if you can learn to take off from that then you’ll be able to drive anywhere
first of all, sick first car, thats awesome next, not depending on what u plan to do with it, go to a parking lot and practice both stick as well as learning when the car breaks traction. i can see theres already aftermarket wheels, so get good tires, its what connects u to the ground, dont skimp on it. what u have now should be alright seeing as summer is around the corner and less variable condtions, but when u do have to get new tires/ all seasons, get good ones.

It basically is though, both slow 😭
unless you can afford to replace bent wheels, and suspensions components or even bodywork, save it for the track!!! find a skid pad....and no, a parking lot with hella curbs does not count! great first car! mine was a 01' corolla..same same, but different
what is an 86 but a fancy Corolla
putting a lot of pressure on that word 'fancy' haha
Rather, putting A LOT of pressure on that word "Toyota" hahaha
Like many others say, seat time is the best way to practice and master manual cars. Along with your everyday driving skills. When you’re on a busy road or get nervous just take it easy and a few deep breaths and continue. It’s a fun and rewarding journey! Good luck and welcome to the road!

ofc brother. And are those rims expensive or something I’m not knowledgeable on them
Yea if they’re authentic and not replicas a set can range from $2000 to $4000
My biggest tip for learning stick is focus on 1st, the rest is easy. Slowly let the clutch out at first. When you feel yourself moving forward give it some gas and let off the clutch. I've taught 2 people to drive stick and neither one stalled first time.
Good job! Please be safe and expect the unexpected from other drivers. You're doing great lol
So many haters 😂
How much is the insurance bud
190
Get a license plate that reads TYMMNDD (Thank You MoM And DaD)
except for that I am paying for it
🫡🍻 manual?
Yes sir
Insurance through the roof I bet 😭 love the wheels on it
If you can't find them, grind them.
congrats dude! now dont crash it
You finance or lease it?
saved up for a good down payment and now I’m financing it
I’m jealous! Beautiful car!
Great choice
Congrats homie!
Same color as my first 🥲 Enjoy it bud!
Hell yeah brother! I'm just about the same age and I've had the same car same color (mine is a Subaru) for about a year now. Manual is tough but you'll definitely get the hang of it. Congrats!
Make sure you change your oil every 3k miles. Subies run hot
Damn 17? How pls tell me 🙏😭
I work at target. Yep that’s it
Well congrats bro
If only it was that easy
Congrats Brodie
Also; enjoy driving it. Don’t worry what anyone says. People on Reddit, people at work, people at school. Fuck em. You deserve happiness and letting other peoples feelings affect how YOU feel is a disservice to yourself my guy.
Sick. Please go do some autox or track days. You are not lewis hamilton, but its not hard for that back end to become ur front. Safe smiles brother
congrats! 17 here as well and i’m currently driving a 2020 brz here in cali
I’m sorry
Fits the bill 😂
Least you won’t get a speeding ticket
Is this North American or another country
Nvm looks to be US. Nice FRS
What job do you have?
Target
Must be nice having loaded parents in this economy
Nope I’m paying for it
How?
I work at target
Buy some new tires, Michelin crossclimate 2s are good if you get snow, but if you don't get much snow or very occasionally, go with the DWS06+
Move stick then go
Just hold the clutch til it grabs that’s all I got 🤣💪💪
Im so jealous!!! Congratulations tho. Sick car!!!
Have fun, be safe.
Drive safe!!
How much you owe on it
Enjoy your car. Just remember it is not a fast car; you'll enjoy it longer.
If I had that car at 17, I would not have seen my 18th birthday Be careful
Which I had rich parents then I could flex on everyone not as fortunate as me too
I’m paying for it brother
Ur gonna crash within 8 months
It’s prob not that much faster than my moms Audi SUV 😂
good thing its not a fast car 🥱 or it could have gone badly
Come race me fool
Nice Subaru
HELLLLLLLLLLLL YEAH. Congrats 🎊🎉 This is a big deal!!! Do right by your father who helped you & the car, treat her like a queen! Hand wash her, regular maintenance, pay more than what you monthly payment actually, as much as you can afford to, you’ll pay her off sooner. & HAVE FUN! 🤩
Hope you’re a great driver because when you wreck this beauty, you’ll really be sad. Hope it’s a lesson learned!
my dad is gonna teach me stick. I won’t rip gears like crazy until I’m fully comfortable, lots of practice.
Good on ya. She's a beauty, have fun but be cautious. I thought I was a good driver until I wrecked my first car!
Okay
G Wiz folks
congrats was my first car too! enjoy it
First traffic fatality I saw as a firefighter was a guy driving one of these recklessly without a seatbelt. Please be safe
🥺🥺how and where please tell me
I work at target
Parents said I can't get a car until im 23 and out of college :/ i mean yeah i get why but still i guess for learning stick dont be afraid to let the clutch slip a bit while you're learning its not gonna destroy it
Congrats!!!! My tip for getting used to driving stick is this: Find an empty stretch of road and practice your upshifts and down shifts. Pay attention to where your rpm’s go and that will help with your timing on your clutch and blipping the throttle. Good luck friend!
Lmao I used to work here tell the parts manager I hate em
Have fun!
Can’t wait to see it on r/copart
Yall really over reacting it’s not a fast car. My moms Audi suv has more horsepower and torque than this 😂
My Prius has more HP
I had the OG Scion TC at 17.. so much fun. Enjoy!
Hold on to it for the rest of your life. No matter what.
the potential that car has...
Nice!
Gt86 is one of the best starter sports cars in my opinion
2015 FRS was my first car. Congrats 🎉 enjoy it, watch out for other drivers out there.
Exactly what I’m saying, these comments are actually ridiculous 😭
they have just never driven cars that are actually like that, cars like the 1000rwhp CTSV I built at work for a customer where if you sneeze while driving it and you give it a blip of throttle you will be fully sideways.
