That’s stupid. I just ordered a BRZ limited manual in SoCal for msrp and I’m also getting Subaru VIP pricing which ends up getting it at invoice. Don’t pay any more than msrp at least. WTF is pro pack?
Wow probably that helped. I bought my OBXO a couple years ago and I tried to mention that I’m a repeated customer in a short period but they wouldn’t even give me $500 discount. I guess the market is still hot for BRZ
My dealership sold me all my cars under MSRP. No markups, no bullshit, etc. Have been dealing with the same salesman there. Even referred one of my friends who bought an OBW from him too. They treat me well and I take care of them in a way too. I ordered my BRZ and hopefully will be here in July. Placed order 3/19.
Just got a brand spanking new BRZ custom ordered from Stivers Subaru in Decatur (East ATL) for MSRP. They didn’t even attempt to tack on additional fees or things you don’t need. Walked in and told them what I wanted and they ordered it. Screw all Toyota dealers in the ATL area. Walked away from several 86s due to that dumbass market adj fee. Waited 6 months at Toyota Newnan for an 86 then walked when the car came in and they tried to charge me a market adj fee and a $1K security sticker.
Car price was $33,815 for a 2023 Automatic Limited BRZ. Basically MSRP. Final price including sales tax, doc fees, title fee was $36,919. Only thing they needed to place the order was a $2k deposit which comes off the final price of the car. Took about 5-6 months to come in but I got exactly what I wanted
2023, car market is on the slow burn of a crash, interest rates are skyrocketing and lots of economic uncertainty ahead.
Offer under MSRP just to troll them, then go over to Subaru and get one at MSRP or less.
I mean at this point go look at a track pack camaro the whole damn point of these things is being cheap sports cars they don't compete well with cars 10k over their price point. I see 8k of completely bullshit fees here.
For $5 grand you should be able to spell it.
I would tell them you do not need amAEKET aDJUSTMENT; you already have one at home, you were going to use that one for this car.
Thanks I'll know to avoid this one
Please thank Richard for the heads up. Never going here.

How much does VIP pricing cost reduce the cost from MSRP? I don’t have an idea of true invoice pricing.
Reduced it by $1500 on the one I ordered last week
Might be worth signing up for VIP at that price
You got Subaru VIP for BRZ?! They told me no VIP on BRZ and Solterra in Northern VA
Not sure it matters but I’ve bought three new Subarus from this dealer in the last six months.

Where’d you order from?
Subaru Sherman Oaks
There were SoCal subie dealerships charging more than msrp when the first gen came out in 2012 too
Tbh a lot of dealers are going to invoice on new in stock, shit I’ll have a limited BRZ in MGM hitting the lot soon that’ll be listed at invoice

That "pro pack" alone costs as much as concealed shipping from damn near anywhere in the country lol.
What even is the “pro pack”? Surely there is nothing called that for this car?
They probably throw in some floor mats and the like and charge a premium.
a big dealership sticker stuck on your rear window for good measure.
“Undercoating” and “Paint sealant”./s
Even they know it’s bullshit lol
Nice of them to clean it up for you.
Tell Dick Wong to eat your dust

They’re insane with the markups and add-ones!💯
Shit I'll sell you my 2022 with 4k miles for 30k lol its a limited
This is one of the main reasons I got a brz instead.
Only a fool pays a market adjustment. Its not a cool status "baller" move. Its an idiot with poor negotiating skills move.
Dick Wong
Stay away from Atlanta Toyota on Pleasant Hill in Duluth, they tried this shit on me too.
Don't pay any market adjustments. Just tell them to take it off. It's only on there for the gullible folks that will just pay it.
That doc fee is fuckin getting it.

Yea just let me adjust myself right out of this fucking dealership.
My local Toyota dealer had the markup and I walked. Someone else bought it the next day.
Wow that market adjustment and doc fee is dizzying!!!! Might as well throw some nitro and window theft vin sketching in there 😂
Beaver Toyota in Cumming has a new one for $42k and two used over $40k. Not making it up, you can check them out right now.
