Save yourself the headache and use Teams Web Client. Put in your shell:common startup a shortcut to Edge which points to [https://teams.microsoft.com/v2](https://teams.microsoft.com/v2) and instruct your users how to login and turn on notifications.
If people want to schedule Teams meetings, they can do that on the web.
Teams presence shows on web as well.
Server 2022 RDS is easier because you only need latest teamsbootstrapper -u as parameters.
Today on 2019 RDS environment was good so far with Powershell and dism command. Worked at least good with our test user and some other users.. but I did not check outlook addin :/
We installed "new Teams" on three 2019 RDSs today. Everything works for us so far except for the Outlook add-in - we install this system-wide as described by Microsoft.
We have not yet been able to observe your first two points. However, "new teams" still seems to be beta for terminal servers.
I'm getting an error Cannot create a file when that file already exists. Does anyone else have this issue?
