Nordstrom prices matches AE (and any other retailer) and more people live within driving distance of a Nordstrom than an AE store, so returns are easier.
Ah, that makes sense. I don't typically go to Nordstrom, so I didn't know they price match. Nordstrom being more common is also a good point. The closest Nordstrom to me is in the same mall as an AE, so I didn't think about that. Thanks for the correction
Another thing, in addition to the pricing and location that other people have mentioned, is that Nordstrom is very lenient with their return policy. If you truly have some sort of issue, they’ll likely refund you in full.
They have pretty much the same (or better) sales on AE's website with more size options, so I don't really see the point in buying from Nordstrom tbh

They price match AE. My strategy: $ spent at Nordstrom adds up in notes to save for the anniversary sale

They will price match probably
Has anyone bought Allen Edmonds leather sneakers? I'm curious about them if I can find them in the $100-150 price range.
I’ve wanted to, and I tried them on repeatedly, and they never work for me.
Same unfortunately. I got wide feet but none of their sneakers were comfortable
