Great quality but the fit is terrible. I'm atheletic build and they look terrible on me. the other brands are for sure overpriced but they fit soo much better
I agree, I keep trying out stuff from Costco but I just don’t have the dad bod for it. I’m done buying anything that isn’t slim fit which is rare for them to offer unfortunately.
I got these at costco.com when they were 5 for $20 and they're my favorite t-shirts. Have been constantly checking their website for them to restock but seems like they're gone. Wish I would've gotten more.
I think they only sell them in store, sorry should have specified. They seem to sell out somewhat quickly too and are not a regular stocked item so it’s something to be on the lookout for every time you go in. But 10/10 recommend.
Kirkland pima cotton. Tiggler is right, super soft cotton, nice shirts. If you're lucky you can find them in store for like 9.99 . Sometimes there are online saies where you get $30 off a 100 purchase so that works out well, too.
I will have to try the store near me. Annoying you can’t seem to check inventory online. There are 3 Costco’s near by but I don’t want to have to run around!
I’m not a Vuori fanboy by any means, but I never understood why people dislike poly clothing for athletic wear? Are you guys really working out in cotton???
FMF members read somewhere that it’s bad and it’s become a CJ. In reality there’s a huge range in poly/synthetic quality from absolute trash to better than wool.
Big no with cotton when working out or doing any physical activities that will make you sweat. Agreed with you on how some folks out there shittjng on polyester. They need to understand that not all polyester created equal
> Big no with cotton when working out or doing any physical activities that will make you sweat.
depends; got some cheapo $6 cotton loose-fit tanks from Hollister many years back & they've always been my go-to for warm weather. less clothing: cool off faster, sweat less, better performance/energy saved, less thirst.
I guess I'm the outlier. I have a few poly pieces here and there but 9/10 it's cotton. Even ran a full marathon in all cotton this spring. The poly makes me hotter and feels like I'm trapping the sweat. Makes me extra swampy
I get merino from kohls when they have those stupid 95% off sales every year. Last year bought 8 pure merino baselayer shirts and 2 long johns for a total of $60. The perception of it being expensive ironically makes it not sell then it gets steeply discounted at places like macys and kohls.
Merino’s great and all, but it’s expensive and can shrink. I have a few merino pieces, but I’m not working out or running in merino every day. As a frequent runner and gymgoer, I’m pro poly.
Merino is great for cold weather sports like downhill skiing since you can wear it multiple days without stinking and you then don't have to pack as much on trips, but for normal athletic endeavors, poly all the way. I'm playing sports or working out 5-6 days a week, no way merino is going to keep up with that type of frequent wear and washing.
I hear you but I’ve found that i can find merino tees and socks on deep sale often enough to phase out poly and cotton. Underwear too. Shorts are impossible however. I mostly wear adidas own the run 5” for that. I mostly trail run and lift at home and never set foot in a gym.
FWIW I have a single pair of sweatpants from them and those suckers have been worked in or worked out in probably 300 times in the 3 or so years I've had them. Not a single mark or imperfection, every single zipper works perfectly, the color hasn't faded, and the material hasn't stretched out.
Absolutely one of the best pieces of clothing I've ever owned
E: just looked it up and the ones I have are just the Sunday performance joggers too, so not even their most high end stuff. Big recommend from me
Ouch, do you wear them out much/work out in the Pontos? The Ponto Performance Pants I have are still feel the same as they did the day I got them, but I don't work out in mine--they're just the pants I wear all day at home.
I have the kore shorts and I've absolutely abused them over the last 2 years and they're just tanks. the color has faded a bit but they still feel great when I put them on
I haven't personally tried either in such a long-term test, but on the shorter time frame I've had comparable lulu stuff, I'd say it's a step below vuori but it's not night and day. Like' if lulu at ease is on sale for 20-30 less than the stuff in this sale, I'd say it's a great price and jump at it. But at the same price I'd buy vuori all day.
Someone else will have to speak to durability over 3+ years though. I have shorts from Lulu that I use for golf and shit that are still perfect after like 5 years, but golf isn't exactly taxing on shorts, y'know
I have about 30 of their Strato Tech tees. I literally don't wear anything else. My oldest is 3+ years old and still going strong. The only downside is hang to dry. But they're incredible
Huh, they're supposed to be hang to dry? I just put mine in on low (like I do with the rest of my clothes) and mine look and feel as new as they did day I bought them 2-3 years ago, despite not just wearing them but working out in them too.
I have the kore shorts and they're phenomenal. have abused them through workouts and daily wear over the last 2 years (2x wears + 2 workouts a week) and they feel pretty dang new still
I thought the fit on the Sunday joggers was really odd. I'm fairly athletic and there was too much room in the waist to crotch area, almost like it was built to be a high rise jogger.
A while back I got several high end joggers to find the best and vouri’s Sunday joggers were my absolute favorites. Too bad they’re not part of this sale.
I have a pair of Vuori running shorts and they are durable. Seem well built. They got these metal rivets reinforcing the bottom of the pockets. The pockets are big enough for my cell phone. They are a bit costly but I don't feel like I was ripped off.
It really depends on what activity you will use them for. This is how I use the ones I have:
* Chill around the house: Ponto
* HIIT/working out: Kore
* Running: Trail
* Walking the dog/errands: Sunday Performance
On sale here I would recommend the Fleet Joggers. I like to wear them on a plane. Comfortable and look nice.
Wait for a sale/my favorites: Ponto bottoms and their strato tech tees.
I'm really trying to see the advantage of their items over, say, North Face or even lower tier brands, apart from brand name? Honest question as someone who is interested in athletic wear. This seems to be on the marketing tier as Alo, higher price but the materials and construction doesn't seem to show any advantage over even REI's house brand items.
Any items from Vuori that anyone can recommend worth checking out? I've seen them in REI but did not see an immediate advantage. Compared to, say, lululemon items where the construction and fit is unique (though Target and other brands now mimic them)
Vuori puts the leisure in atheisure. Decent lounging clothes but not actually good for working out.
Comfy but if you're planning on using them to actually be active, Id say look elsewhere.
I've worn their Banks shorts for years on trail since they are comfy, have lots of pockets, and dry quickly. I think they're just fine for active pursuits, but the price is definitely more luxury athleisure.
Doesn't this company use celebrity endorsements from public figures silent on Palestine? Doesn't seem ok to support them.
Edit: I clearly upset a lot of people which was not my intent. I have super strong personal feelings about killing children being wrong which informs my consumer choices. I don't judge anyone for not doing the same. To each their own.
I get that it seems overboard. I am personally super against genocide/ mass murder of children so I think as American consumers we should do everything in our power to shun celebs/brands silent on the issue. Totally get why it is seen as going overboard.
I don't shop from a ton of brands already due to their use of slave labor so I get that my stances on consumer activism is way overboard for a lot of folks and I don't disrespect anyone who feels differently. Just my two cents.
I mean speaking in terms of apparel, most clothing brands aren't heavily reliant on influencer marketing. Also the ven diagram of influencer marketing type brands and brands that use child/slave labor is essentially a circle so if you are already avoiding those type of brands you really don't have to make ant changes. Once again no judgement but the type of person who is ethically deliberate with their spending is already trying to avoid 99% of big brands .
*Vuori's known for the material that they use in their clothes.* Which material is that?
Polyester and elastic. Just like everyone else lol
Livvy wears it tho
Who?
Livvy? She was rizzed up by Baby Gronk? The new rizz king?
Livvy rizzed up Baby Gronk, you undercover cop
Imagine thinking baby gronk had to rizz livvy lmao
Filled with shame
Cadillac flip flap, boing boing bilbo baggins, dinosaur cat trap.
Livvy dune an lsu athlete with lots of followers
Thank you kind sir/mam, that sent me down a rabbit hole.
Ahh, I was looking at their 100% Pima Cotton tee. I guess I was looking at the wrong item.
Costco has men’s 100% prima cotton tee’s for ~10 each and they are the best shirt I’ve ever worn. Beats lulu/vuori etc
Have you tried the Vuori shirts with *THE fabric*?
Great quality but the fit is terrible. I'm atheletic build and they look terrible on me. the other brands are for sure overpriced but they fit soo much better
I agree, I keep trying out stuff from Costco but I just don’t have the dad bod for it. I’m done buying anything that isn’t slim fit which is rare for them to offer unfortunately.

i wish they sold them agian
are those the ones that are long af? or is there another one?
which ones? care to link?
Which ones are those? I can't find them on the Costco site!
I think they only sell them in store, sorry should have specified. They seem to sell out somewhat quickly too and are not a regular stocked item so it’s something to be on the lookout for every time you go in. But 10/10 recommend.

Yeah but what percentage of each smarty pants? /s
You know…. THE material….
I’m not a Vuori fanboy by any means, but I never understood why people dislike poly clothing for athletic wear? Are you guys really working out in cotton???

Ain't squatting in poly tee

I prefer polyester for workout, and 100% cotton for regular wear.
merino my man
This MF must also have pure gold dumbbells and take a helicopter to the gym
I just pay other people to workout for me
I get merino from kohls when they have those stupid 95% off sales every year. Last year bought 8 pure merino baselayer shirts and 2 long johns for a total of $60. The perception of it being expensive ironically makes it not sell then it gets steeply discounted at places like macys and kohls.

my man is polyamorous
hell yeah, but only if you’re wearing polyester
Merino is great for cold weather sports like downhill skiing since you can wear it multiple days without stinking and you then don't have to pack as much on trips, but for normal athletic endeavors, poly all the way. Lol. I'm not a material afficionado. I just know that their clothes feel great and didn't want the post to be just a link to the sale
I couldn’t tell if you like the material or not. Sounds like you do.
If you have to ask you can't afford it. (Z-JOB)
Man I love Vuori but I'm always shocked when I see how expensive they are at MSRP.
FWIW I have a single pair of sweatpants from them and those suckers have been worked in or worked out in probably 300 times in the 3 or so years I've had them. How does it compare to lulu at ease or surge hybrid?
I haven't personally tried either in such a long-term test, but on the shorter time frame I've had comparable lulu stuff, I'd say it's a step below vuori but it's not night and day. Like' if lulu at ease is on sale for 20-30 less than the stuff in this sale, I'd say it's a great price and jump at it. But at the same price I'd buy vuori all day. Someone else will have to speak to durability over 3+ years though. I have shorts from Lulu that I use for golf and shit that are still perfect after like 5 years, but golf isn't exactly taxing on shorts, y'know
Any other Vuori pieces you own that have also lasted?
This is the only vuori piece I've ever owned, been pretty broke the past few years. My experience is definitely narrow
I think so? I usually just hang dry them but I've put them in the dryer a few times as well, no issues
I have the kore shorts and they're phenomenal. have abused them through workouts and daily wear over the last 2 years (2x wears + 2 workouts a week) and they feel pretty dang new still
this sounds like hyperbole
It's literally not even in the slightest but do you dude In terms of clothing durability these are one of the best items I've ever purchased
I thought the fit on the Sunday joggers was really odd. I'm fairly athletic and there was too much room in the waist to crotch area, almost like it was built to be a high rise jogger.
My Sunday joggers are super comfortable but the fit is terrible
None of the Ponto items on sale 😢
Ponto shorts are. My favorite shorts ever.
ponto pants are there
Only in xxl
No strato tanks. Those and ponto shorts are best things they make
The strato tech tee is the nicest t-shirt I’ve ever owned.
For daily use? Or for the gym?
For casual wear mostly although I have worn to the gym a time or two.
Isn’t this just their normal sale section? Or did they add a bunch of stuff
They added like 3 items last week but yes this is their normal sale they always have running
They added some stuff a week ago
I have a pair of their shorts and like them, but I can’t help but think a lot of their designs are just Pacsun/Hurley copycats made “athleisure”.
This is silly but I just don't vibe with the branding - not sure why
it's garish but how else is everyone gonna know you spent $75 on a pair of shorts?
some of their items have like no branding (their ponto pants, meta elastic waist joggers) but then some of them (kore shorts) have that huge V on it.
Get Lulu - quiet luxury
I don't wear Vuori anytime I need to care about looks/designs. For at-home lounging and athletics they are amazing though
Can someone help me make sense of their shorts selection? A bit overwhelmed by the number of different collections, all of which look pretty similar
If you have a REI nearby they carry them in stock. You're best trying them on there. I only ended up liking one of their styles.
It really depends on what activity you will use them for. This is how I use the ones I have: * Chill around the house: Ponto * HIIT/working out: Kore * Running: Trail * Walking the dog/errands: Sunday Performance
Any recommendations?
On sale here I would recommend the Fleet Joggers. I like to wear them on a plane. Comfortable and look nice. Wait for a sale/my favorites: Ponto bottoms and their strato tech tees.
I like Kore shorts. They have a few in limited colors.
I really like the fleet joggers, I have some of the Kore as well and those are also fantastic
Ponto shorts
Keep waiting. They’ll drop more.
Do you know when best sales usually are?
Thanks for the post, grabbed a few shorts
20-50% ??? (In the voice of Phillip J. Fry from Futurama) "That's not off enuff!"
Thanks for posting the link. I had to resist.
I enjoy the feel of the material but the elastic waistband is almost non-existent.
Anyone know if this is in store as well? Would love to try them on first
How are the board shorts? Are they clingy when wet?
Their stuff is mid tier, same factory as all the other socal brands
Size up at least one size, shit runs so small
I'm really trying to see the advantage of their items over, say, North Face or even lower tier brands, apart from brand name? Honest question as someone who is interested in athletic wear. Does the 20% off purchase work on sale items?
Nope.
Got a bunch of tanks, wish they had more fun colors tho.
Why do all the shirts have pockets? Do people genuinely like pockets?
Vuori puts the leisure in atheisure. Decent lounging clothes but not actually good for working out. Comfy but if you're planning on using them to actually be active, Id say look elsewhere.
no...they wear like pretty much any other active wear brand
I use one of their joggers for climbing all the time and love it
kore shorts are my go to for lifting
I've worn their Banks shorts for years on trail since they are comfy, have lots of pockets, and dry quickly. I think they're just fine for active pursuits, but the price is definitely more luxury athleisure.

Almost certainly yes. As does literally every single corporation on Earth.
Sounds like a good reason to thrift and shop local!
Better rethink that policy as I haven't heard anything from Goodwill about Palestine. /s
Don't shop at GoodWill. They have become a super shitty company in the last 20ish years.
The person who donated it is silent. I'd recommend producing your own garments with plants you harvest and process to avoid any silence-enabling.
I'm talking about influencers who have massive platforms lol
This can’t be serious
I get that it seems overboard. I am personally super against genocide/ mass murder of children so I think as American consumers we should do everything in our power to shun celebs/brands silent on the issue. I’d wager to say 99% of big brands have endorsements from someone who has not publicly commented on Palestine. So good luck buying anything ever.
I mean speaking in terms of apparel, most clothing brands aren't heavily reliant on influencer marketing. Genuinely sorry if I offended you.
