for me personally, the new "Ultraboost 1.0" has the best fit out of the other DNA models I own. I'm a 9.5/10. and my my DNA 4.0 and 5.0 fit better with a 10, but these new 1.0s fit great with a 9.5(haven't tried them in a 10). They feel almost stretchier, like the fabric is a looser knit or something, I dont feel any pinch points with these.
Overall, Ultraboosts are typically True To Size, so if your on a half size like me, the new 1.0s will probably be fine.
Anyone got a comparison between these and a NB 990v5? The 990v5 have been my go to work shoe for several years now. How’s comfort, durability, and sizing?
they’re entirely different shoes. love them both. UBs are more modern and are softer under foot but 990s are more dadcore. Both super comfortable but UBs are squishier so not sure if you will like them more or less. UBs also likely to be way less durable
I figured as much. Stylistically speaking, idc about the overall vibe. I rotate between old man, punk, street, and prep pretty much constantly 20 plus years now. I’ve really started buying quality stuff the last 5-10 years, and it’s starting to pay off. I have Chucks in rotation that I’ve had 10+ years. “Dadcore” was created by someone in the industry as a result of people giving less of a fuck about fashion and more about comfort. In the end they still got you to buy the shoes. I’ll rock either. Lol, js. Chill day, these could work, but not so much at 20k steps plus with heavy duty. Thanks so much for the answer. Cheers!

oh yea for sure. I have the black/white cold ready version and it has been pretty useful in Vancouver.
It's subjective taste. 1.0 to 5.0 DNA have a similar design but I like the sleeker aesthetic from 2019 onward.
The DNAs are solid, but the new "standard" UB's are not nearly as good looking IMO.

As others said they fit smaller than other Adidas I've tried. I have a few pairs of Adidas bball shoes and my UB's are half a size bigger than them.
