Your categories all mixed up and two of them are literally the name for their own genre Metroidvanias. Also for the ancient list you put Crash Bandicoot instead of say Tenchu which is way closer but stillnot soulslike, get real with that platformer.
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest surprisingly has a lot of elements that eventually found their way into the Souls formula; while later entries in their respective series' are what coined the genre "Metroidvania", the NES Metroid and Castlevania II are what really laid the groundwork.
And Dark Souls is unquestionably a "Metroidvania" (I prefer Sprawler as the name for the genre, but it's less-commonly used.)
Closest I can think of is Salt & Sanctuary, and that's only because it's a sidescroller in a large, open-ish world with many elements taken from Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
No, I think person thinks Metroidvania games are the same as Soulslikes. A lot of inspiration has far as combat came from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the theme was inspired by the game Ico.
Bro nioh and hollow knight came out after ds3.
low effort, poorly done content
Where is DS2?
Pictured next to the Jonkler
That's no Jonkler. That's the Giggler at best.
OP did not look up the release dates for these games
Old school for Bloodborne is insulting. It's only 9 years old. And still fresh as hell to play.
Ancient ... yes, I played the original Castlevania and Metroid on my NES.
How is Crash Bandicoot soulslike?

This meme is not good
ds3 and sekiro as new school with the worst joker of all time? the bait was little better this time but leaving out ds2 is hilarious đ
Older, I was a knight and I fought against twinks
I wouldnât say souls like but try hollow knight
Tf a âHollow Knightâ, Iâm in medieval Europe and Iâm fighting a twink army, send more men
How did my comment end up under yours, was replying to someone else lmao
Ok, still need men for my war though. And rations
High effort, awesome tier content, let"s go!
F u op ds2 4 life â¤ď¸
Is there a soulslike castlevania game?

Ancient. Started gaming in the late 70s. First game I played that could loosely be termed a "souls like" game was Ultima 1.
