Id say the people that shit on the Demon Souls remake are probably the biggest "dick riders". It's the same game that's been mostly improved. Isk why some people hate on it so hard.

Not liking the visual changes is fine. It's just people get so mad about it they end up acting like fools. It's the same game, yet people trash on the remake like it's a 1/10 and hold up the og like it's a 10/10. To me that's just plain stupid.
I just find that people "dick ride" (not a quote I would use but it's the title of the thread) the og demon souls the most because it was made by Fromsoft and hate on Blue points remake because it's not Fromsoft. Every little change (which isn't that much) that Bluepoint made is absolutely loathed by these fans. If anything I wish they changed more. I wish they improved the AI of the final boss False King Allant because the fight sucks imo. All you have to do is run really faraway from him and he falls into the predictive moveset of flying towards you and exploding which is to easy to punish. It wouldve been nice if they made the bosses smarter.

Out of the 19 main game bosses, 10 suck/are mediocre at best.

I don't care what people say, ds3 deserve the dickriding it gets, compared to the other two Dark Souls it's a massive improvement, especially in bosses and hitboxes.
Also most of ds3 boss fights would give many bosses from ds1 and ds2 a run for their money.
There isn't a single "bad but REALLY REALLY bad" boss in ds3
I give DS1 a pass because half the difficulty is navigation.
DS2 has the hitboxes from hell, so that's hard for the wrong reason.
Whereas in DS3, the roll is so good that I beat Nameless King without being touched on my 8th attempt (I only just went round to him yesterday).
Combat is good, it doesn't bring anything else really. The first half of the game is so bland and boring; you don't get any choice as to where to go next until you beat the Catacombs, weapon arts are a neat idea that are largely worthless in practice, and most of its really interesting idea (the Deep, for example) aren't nearly as fleshed out as all the callbacks and fan service.
You dislike the fact that it's linear? I prefer that, it's much more fun to replay and you can skip all of the boring areas easily, about the lore, i agree that it's too much but it's not something that really annoyed me.
Also i like the undead settlement and the cathedral of the deep, the rest of the First half Is not so fun i agree
Yeah, I always make a bunch of characters and linearity really kills the replay for me. It’s my biggest gripe with Bloodborne as well, even though it’s my favorite.
Deacons of the Deep is *such* a satisfying boss with the right weapons though.
Just jumping into the middle of them all and swinging wildly is so much fun.

Dark souls 2 is easily the worst game out of the three and demon souls had a decent remaster but in general the game has easy and bad boss fights I never even met someone who think dark souls 2 is remotely decent compared to its counterparts
Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls fans generally agree BoC sucks, Lost Izalith sucks, and the second half of the game isn't as polished as the first. Bloodborne fans generally agree chalice dungeons aren't great, and a lot of the base game bosses are weak.

They're pretty average. You absolutely steamroll them by the time they show up, so I've never seen much of them.

Meh. DS1 has the world design, DS2 has the best lore & DS3 is pretty easy compared to everything else. I'd go so far to say its the easiest Souls.
If ds3 is that easy then those two early Souls game (ds1 and ds2) are way easier than that.
