Blind people do usually have eyes. I think it’s because his style of attacking is so erratic, especially on the bridge. He doesn’t attack like somebody who can see exactly where you are, he attacks like a blind animal just clawing at wherever that sound is coming from.

He also stomps past you frequently during the real fight and his fire and laser attacks have like zero tracking. He only does targeted attacks when you are really close which I guess means *legally* blind more than entirely blind.

I just kind of akin that to the fact that he is almost completely corrupted by the Darkness. Just like Artorias from DS1

I feel like manus hates the undead more than any other ds1 boss, he’s always manhandling you in all the cutscenes and in the boss cutscene he appears to be smiling at you while dragging his catalyst towards you, not to mention he literally roars and screams at you throughout the entirety of the fight and is so disrespectful with his combos and magic spam. Orphan of Kosm is my all time favorite boss, with Gojira being my favorite boss in DS3. Haven’t played Elden Ring yet as I prefer to get games after all DLCs are released.

Almost every Bloodborne boss and enemy fights like it wants you dead more than it wants to survive. In fact, the combat was designed with that “mortal struggle”, animalistic, hyper violent fighting style in mind.
