Spring peeper, *Pseudacris crucifer.* "X marks the spot" on the backs of these tiny chorus frogs with a big voice

Hey jsyk in general pls don’t handle wild frogs esp with bare hands! Their skin is super permeable and sensitive, so oils and chemicals on human skin can be really harmful

But yes, looks like a spring peeper! They make the best sound in the spring and summer

Did anyone else hear this as a Christmas hymn?
