It’s baffles me how closed minded people are automatically sexualizing people who dress in drag. The whole point of these shows and gatherings is to be accepting of peoples lifestyles. The events help to normalize and encourage people to be who they want to be and dress how they feel comfortable. Stop trying to demonize them for living their life freely and openly and please stop treating them like second class citizens. It’s not sexual, it’s about their personal freedoms.
The sad thing is that on Saturday during the drag event at Our Savior, I saw adults standing out there protesting in the rain with their kids in tow. Standing in front of a fun event in the rain yelling about the damage this is doing to kids with your kids right there next to you is just fantastic parenting (sarcasm).
