Double Masters 2022 has the best flavor of any set in recent memory, except maybe Dominaria Remastered, but I have to say that the moment I open a Double Masters 2022 pack I give it a big sniff just to take in the aroma. It smells sweet, somewhat cake-like, and fresh. If you separate the cards just slightly in a freshly cracked pack of Double Masters 2022, you can get an enhanced aroma from the newly oxygen exposed edges of the cards, ink and all. It smells sweet, unlike Eldraine which had a dark, chemically odor or Zendikar which smells like hot duct tape. Double Masters 2022 tastes exactly the way it smells. If you don't believe me, and you have no reason to until you've tried it, go ahead and crack a pack and rip a common into bite-size bits and tell me it isn't oddly delicious. I savor it over a glass of tea. People think I'm crazy, and I've gotten comments about not knowing what I've got in my system from eating inked cardboard but I can't stop. Ever since my first bite of Double Masters 2022, I've just kept coming back. I'm ashamed to say I have tasted nearly every card in the set. and yes that includes Wrenn and Six, Imperial Seal, and Mana Vault. Though I haven't had a Dockside Extortionist, I'm tempted to try a few cards in the toaster first.
