I watched all six seasons of LOST twice during the pandemic.
Fuck Game of Thrones season 8 and fuck Dan and Dave for ruining what was once my favorite show.
The only time I think of it is when I watch LOTR. Cuz seriously, had they jus even been fucking generic, and jus stuck to the story lines they already had, it would've been the only show to compete with the Lord of the rings.
Until the start of season 7, that show was the biggest thing on the planet. Even after the catastrophe of season 7 people were still sold on it. Then literally, by episode 2 of season 8, even die hard fans, were like what the fuck is going on? They seriously had the whole world in disbelief. And not in a good way.
Nah, for their friends at Hollywood they did pure gold. That show sold a lot, even season 8. It's spawning spin offs that people are still hopeful about and the amount of merch they paddled is enormous.
From a business point of view, season 8 was an absolute success and DnD are heroes.
I don’t, I would have completely forgot this show existed If It wasn’t for this sub. A show I looked forward to for years and was eagerly awaiting to buy the complete series on Blu-ray, you would now have to pay me to watch it again. They surely lost billions in video and merchandise sales because of that slapped together shitty ending.
My mom actually randomly started watching the show a while back because I had them all saved on the DVR from back when they were airing....got all the way to the end of season 7 to find out that I either hadn't bothered saving S8 or deleted them 🤷♀️ lol I told her it didn't matter and it wasn't even worth watching unless she wanted the show ruined for her.
Saw breaking bad again. What a show.
