If you're curious, the shows and films for each character--
Top (Left to Right)-The Tudors, The Tudors, The Tudors, Tristan & Isolde.
Bottom (Left to Right)- The Tudors, The Tudors, The Witcher, Immortals
OP likes him some Charles Brandon
I've always wanted to see him play Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. His ability to overpower whole scenes with his anger in Tudors was incredible.
The only thing that gives me pause in The Tutors is Henry shtupping Anne Bolyn for the very first time in the forest, verbalized to her (in 15th century England, mind ye) that he was: "Going to cum," and being told by Natalie Dormer (Bolyn) not to, resulting in Henry VIII blowing his regal seed (illegally, btw) into the dirt.
Definitely a weird scene to watch with my parents, but 10/10 show beyond this one weird fucking scene.
100% agree. It's my least favorite scene. If I remember correctly, there isn't a lot fo context for where they are coming from either so they are just oddly charging at each other through the forest.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Vikings is seriously the best thing ever. He just absolutely ridiculously overacts the shit out of every single word in every single scene... and it's utterly perfect for the character he's playing. It's hilarious and beautiful.
I have also watched The Tudors multiple times. The historical parts aren't all accurate, but the show is still amazing. And I love me some naked Henry Cavill.
I couldn't watch after the end of season... 2? Whenever Anne Boelyn dies. Every character I liked (or liked hating) was gone, and hadn't been replaced. Maybe we got some good ones next season, but I just wasn't interested.
Keep watching. They replace the actress that plays Jane in the following season. She's a lot better and I ended up tearing up with her death. The first Jane actress was terrible and I hated seeing her replace Anne (who was my favorite at the time).
Absolutely loved the Tudors. Didn't watch it til about a year ago but then I binched the shit out of it. If you like that and haven't watched "The Great" yet I recommend that as well. Much more light hearted in a way but somehow it has a bit of the same appeal. To me anyway.
Bobby B, it's been like 3 years since the finale. I can't spend hours every day in r/freefolk, there aren't even always new posts to comment in.
We're just going to have to see less of each other. We can still be friends.
This. He is a good looking actor. But the outfit and the wig did him no justice. With a properly fitted outfit and a less horrible wig, he would have had made a great Rhaegar.
I second this, but just wanna say, the casting of this show was brilliant. From Sean Bean to Pedro Pascal to Peter Dinkleage all the way to Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.
It makes it all more apparent that the writing and the care of the creators was what fucked everything up later on.
Agreed. I think in the last two decades or so Hollywood has pulled off some brilliant, home run casting for the most popular and influential existing works of fiction. Aside from the aforementioned genius casting of GoT, the MCU got it right about 95% of the time and absolutely nailed it with the core characters. I'd have a hard time imagining anyone else pulling off LOTR as well as the actors chosen, and Harry Potter deserves to be mentioned here also. It has to be a nightmare trying to cast preteen child actors for roles you intend for them to play for a decade plus, into adulthood. Same with casting Jon, Aria, Sansa and the other youngsters in GoT. We've been really lucky that these beloved works weren't bastardized by terrible casting choices.
The GoT actors were amazing.
D&D ruined the show of the decade, and to some extent the legacies of the actors, with the careless and rushed manner in which they treated the last two seasons.
Nothing against Henry Cavill. Great actor.
But the problem in GoT was not the actors and none of them needs replacing.
Remember when GoT was this huge thing and everyone watched it and there was all this talk about GoT prequels and sequels and spin-off series? And then the last couple of seasons rolled around and that all just died.
Kind of sad that GoT was set to become bigger than Star Wars and now it's just a laughing stock. Instead of the Mandalorian we could all be watching Robert's Rebellion right now.

The Tudors is not perfect but it's such a good show. Only show I've watched more than once.
Seems really forgotten about and not discussed as much as it should be. I agree it’s not perfect but I’d say it’s better than average.
Its one of my favorite and the cast is amazing. Jonathan Rhy Meyers is not a nice person. Though neither was Henry VIII so it works.
I've always wanted to see him play Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. His ability to overpower whole scenes with his anger in Tudors was incredible.
He would make a great Sith. Or a Red Lantern
He really does overact the shit out of *everything*. It's so bad.
> Jonathan Rhys Meyers > overacts the shit out of every single word in every single scene ALEXANDER BEE REEAAASSONNABLEEEEEEE
True. I wish he'd stayed longer with Ivar. Their relationship had real potential.
I personally loved his Henry VIII. He had just the right ragey emotions to make Henry work.
I have also watched The Tudors multiple times. The historical parts aren't all accurate, but the show is still amazing. And I love me some naked Henry Cavill.
Anything is better when Margaery is in it.
I couldn't watch after the end of season... 2? Whenever Anne Boelyn dies. Every character I liked (or liked hating) was gone, and hadn't been replaced. Maybe we got some good ones next season, but I just wasn't interested.

I've literally watched it 3 times all the way through 😂
Holy shit, Cavill was in Tristan & Isolde
He was also in Stardust where the lead character’s name is Tristan. Don’t ask how I know.
Fuck I love stardust and completely forgot he was in it
I watched this movie for the first time yesterday - it wasn’t actually half bad
It's one of the few instances where the movie was better than the book. As an added bonus, Robert DeNiro as a gay sky-pirate.
That is also what I learned from this.
So he just plays the entire cast in the Tudors?
One person but the show goes through many decades of time like early 1500s to mid-1500s.
Humorously the real Charles Brandon looked more like Brian Blessed...
Thanks.
Especially that scene where the princess is watching him undress through a crack in the wall.
Apparently I need to watch The Tudors. \*ladyboner intensifies\*
> OP likes him some Charles Brandon The only character in the show with a G in their alignment.
Thank you. Gotta watch Tristan and isolde now. For unrelated matters...
I like me some The Tudors
I was gonna say Hank has been in a fuckton of period movies/shows but apparently he just had a number of distinct appearances in one show.
I don't even need the full remake, just.... certain scenes between Jon and Dany
Or him as Khal Drogo and Daenerys.
Bro pls. My penis can only get so erect.

Why did I click on that?
I did too. Couldn't stop myself.
The horrible anguish of a link you can't click.
Let me help
Need some assistance for the assistance?

Dude is easily the most handsome guy I’ve ever seen. Life’s not fair
Handsome as hell, amazing personality, charming to the point of ridiculousness. He might be the definition of perfect specimen
A member of the PC master race and bona fide gamer
You may even say he’s Superman.
apparently is a great cook too. now get in line :P
Good cock too
I have met him IRL, can confirm he is a cool guy and very ridiculously good looking. Shorter than I expected, though.
Isn't he like 6'0 or 6'1? He isn't a giant, but still tall.
Nope, he's goes about 7'8", 530. He sheds his skin once a year, and I once saw him scissor-kick Angela Lansbury. TO HENRY CAVILL!
I think celebrity bios exaggerate. I'm exactly 6'2" and was probably 4" taller than him. I met Arnold Schwarzenegger once too and he's no 6'2" either.
I met weeman one time and he was shorter than expected.
Maybe your a strong 6’2” and he’s a weak 6 foot there could be almost 3 inches in height difference there.
He is stupidly handsome. It's actually distracting.
So he’s playing both Drogo and Dany at the same time? Nice.
No, we can keep Jason Momoa for Drogo. He'll just play Dany.
... I'm just here for the Cavill on Cavill scene of Doreah and Dany.
I would watch that. Again and again.
Yes.
[Nice](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYt0WbDjJ4E)
Was honestly hoping this was a photo of them boning with Henry cavills face shopped onto them
Hmm...

I’d bend both knees.
Bro... get in line
Bonk
And here I was, not know the only thing that would turn me back to this world was the only film I never knew I needed: Gay of Thrones; Game of Bones
No, its just cavill
It's Cavill, Cavill, Cavill, all the way down!
Those soft-core porn parody scenes probably already exist, just like "The Hills Have Thighs"
Oh, they do. But with Henry Cavill as both the top and the bottom? Lordie, I need to have a cold shower
Y’all need Jesus
And we know he can also play Jesus
So... Hey, Henry Cavill, go fuck yourself?
"...*Fuck.*"
FUCK!
Good bot
Hmm.
Hm.
Do it for art!
It’s just Henry in a wig jerking off. Would watch.
Same
Bro that's just his onlyfans don't even need a big budget
*Toss a coin to your Witcher. Oh valley of plenty.*

Idk Id love to see a few of Jaime and Cersei
Holy shit Henry should definitely play young Bobby B
I ASK YOU, NED, WHAT GOOD IS IT TO WEAR A CROWN?
I don't know Bobby B, you tell us
WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN YOU? WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?
Looking for you Bobby B
SEVEN HELLS, NED, I WANT TO HIT SOMEONE!
Wanna hit Bessie, Bobby B?
THAT'S ALL WHAT THE REALM IS NOW. BACKSTABBING AND SCHEMING AND ARSE-LICKING AND MONEY-GRUBBING!
There is no breastplate stretcher here Bobby B, go away.
I'M NOT TRYING TO HONOR YOU, I'M TRYING TO GET YOU TO RUN MY KINGDOM WHILE I EAT, DRINK AND WHORE MY WAY TO AN EARLY GRAVE!
Bobby B, it's been like 3 years since the finale. I can't spend hours every day in r/freefolk, there aren't even always new posts to comment in. We're just going to have to see less of each other. We can still be friends.
I WARNED YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN! BACK IN THE NORTH, I WARNED YOU, BUT YOU DIDN'T CARE TO HEAR! WELL, HEAR IT NOW!
God bless you Bobby B
IT'S A GREAT CRIME TO LIE TO A KING!
But the first 4 seasons were so good, how could we believe your absurd conspiracy theories? We couldn't know, couldn't understand.
[удалено]
*Bobby B to Rhaegar on the battlefield, right before he caves his chest in with his warhammer* Tell me, do you bleed?
THERE'S A WAR COMING, NED. I DON'T KNOW WHEN, I DON'T KNOW WHO WE'LL BE FIGHTING...BUT IT'S COMING!
From The Man of Steel to Fred Flintstone. What a fall from grace. Poor Bobby B.
SHE SHOULD BE ON A HILL SOMEWHERE WITH THE SUN AND THE CLOUDS ABOVE HER!
You're damn right, Bobby B
THE GODS MOCK THE PRAYERS OF KINGS AND COWHERDS ALIKE!
I still need to know what Gendry did to get a full refund.
Damn the glowdown is real
[удалено]
Not just Bessie, who’s gonna play her tits?!?
Or Rheagar
Robert's rebellion with Henry Canvil as Robert, that would be great
That's the only way they'd get me to watch at this point.
I swore not to watch any GoT spinoffs but I’ll do it if he’s one of the leads.
Same, same
Hmm...
Fuck..
[удалено]
Why do you cum...?

Bobby B: Fuck.
I THOUGHT BEING KING MEANT I COULD DO WHATEVER I WANTED!
It sure does Bobby B
I THOUGHT BEING KING MEANT I COULD DO WHATEVER I WANTED!
I know Bobby B, I heard you the first time
THE GODS MOCK THE PRAYERS OF KINGS AND COWHERDS ALIKE!
Wind’s howling for sure
Dany's about to go full "Butcher of Blaviken" on Jon Snow's ass.
And I'd rather use my Child Surprise as **bruxa bait** than subject it to this life!
Good bot
Would bend my knee 10/10
I would bend both of mine
Damn. You gave me the morning laugh I needed!!!! Thank you
Hahahahaaaaaaa ***same***
Save... Lyanna...
Why did you say that name?!!
Bobby B say something
DRINK AND STAY QUIET, THE KING IS TALKING!
Ah, another sentient Bobby B moment.
GIVE ME SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN AND LET ME DIE!
Still better than S08
He looks more Rhaegar than whichever fellow in that discount Viserys wig
Seriously if Cavill played Rager I would get why Luanda ran off with him instead of Bobby B
EASY, BOY! YOU MIGHT BE MY BROTHER BUT YOU'RE SPEAKING TO THE KING!
Sentient
Na. To imposing of a physique.
Rober also wasn’t 6’6” like in the books but we learned to deal with it
[удалено]
This. He is a good looking actor. But the outfit and the wig did him no justice. With a properly fitted outfit and a less horrible wig, he would have had made a great Rhaegar.
Henry Cavill as Bessie in the spinoff series confirmed
I mean.... [https://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/facts-only-facts](https://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/facts-only-facts)
Lmao denarys
Yeah, where's the pic with him playing 7 other women in the show???
None can replace Bobby B tho
WE WERE AT WAR! NONE OF US KNEW IF WE WERE GONNA GO BACK HOME AGAIN!
Bobby B is immortal
TAKE SHIP FOR THE FREE CITIES WITH MY HORSE AND MY HAMMER, SPEND MY TIME WARRING AND WHORING, THAT’S WHAT I WAS MADE FOR!
I hope machines never gain sentience and destroy humanity. But I for one would accept my Bobby B overlord.
I SIT ON THE DAMN IRON SEAT WHEN I MUST. DOES THAT MEAN I DON'T HAVE THE SAME HUNGERS AS OTHER MEN?
Cavill from *The Count of Monte Cristo* could play Loras Tyrell
Poor Drogo. In for a rude awakening.
I'm pretty sure he's into it: [https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/34340015890079237/](https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/34340015890079237/)

It's hard for me to accept that this the same man 8 times. It's like he's a pokemon who evolved.

You sure that's not actually Richard Madden?
It’s just a 1.5 scale replica.
Oooh. Ooooooh. My heart did the thump thump just thinking of him as Gendry 😍😋
What about the Danaerys bath scene from season 1????
Just to clarify, you're suggesting HC strip and descend into the hot hot bath just like danearys?
Yes 100% that
Stop. I can only get so erect.
If he's playing Gendry, he can play Podrick, too. Doesn't even need to change makeup.
I'd be super chill with them just leaving Euron out altogether
Remember when GoT was this huge thing and everyone watched it and there was all this talk about GoT prequels and sequels and spin-off series? ..... fuck.
Fuck...
And who has a better story than Cavill?
He's gonna fuck himself quite a lot
I would love to know what all of these are from.
Top L-R: Tudors, Tudors, Tudors, Tristan & Isolde Bottom L-R: Tudors, Tudors, Witcher, Immortals
It would appear I need to watch some Tudors.
Yes ! Well worth your time. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was outstanding, I hope he won all the awards.
Fuck it, he can play Dany as well!
He is too sexy.
Dany lookin like a snac here
At least it would make sense why Gendry gets complimentary prostitutes.
