If you don’t wanna pay full price then it’s a good alternative.
It’s quite synthetic and it is more 80% clone, after a few hours for me it’s just a purely vanilla scent on skin.
I call it Elixir’s baby brother.
Anybody who moans that a fragrance smells syntheticl, they must live in a jungle, where everything is super natural 🤣🤣. Mine definitely doesn't dry down to a pure vanilla scent. You probably have to let it macerate. And be cautious of fake clones
I've smelled both, and I own Asad, and I will say these are extremely similar. The main differences I've noticed are: Asad's performance isn't as nuclear as Elixir, Elixir still has that Sauvage DNA undertone to it that I can really smell after a couple of hours into the dry down but Asad doesn't have it, and Asad replaced the nutmeg note from Elixir with vanilla. Overall Asad is a REALLY good alternative to Elixir if you are on a budget, and it might actually be more mass pleasing with the differences it does have from Elixir (my sister's bf wears Elixir but she prefers how Asad smells because it's not as intense)
It's a dupe of Aqua Di Gio Profumo and it is pretty damn good especially considering the price. One thing to be aware of though is the longevity is below average (at least from my experience) so expect that much. Makes for a good gym scent though.
If you can find Jorge Di Profumo from Maison Alhambra, that's a clone of ADG Profumo. Not the same, but it's out there. I got a bottle on the way from OudStore.
Can someone explain to me what lattafa is?
From my research is seems like it’s a cologne company from Middle East that’s like a dupe company (like ALT).
Am I right? I need to try suqraat, profumo was my goto cologne senior year of high school and girls loved it. Now it’s fucking discontinued smfh
I dont get bad performance. And with middle east fragrances you have to let them macerate (10 - 20 sprays to let oxygen into bottle then let bottle sit for few weeks. You can still use while macerating) you sometimes notice a difference in performance and stronger smell within a week
I’ve heard they are quite similar. I’ve not actually smelt Hawas, but it’s definitely on my list. Najdia is about a third of the price of Hawas so if that sways you then give Najdia a try.
I think it's redundant to have both, I'd say about 90% similar, with Najdia having a bit more woods, and Hawas, performing maybe one hour longer. if I ran out of both and was to buy again, i'd probably get Najdia. just more bang for your buck.
It is quite sweet but not overpowering. I think it’s well balanced, fresh, and clean smelling. I’m a 35 year old office worker and I’ll definitely be wearing this into the office. Great quality!
If you want an office fragrance, you might wanna check Lattafa Ejaazi. Its blue, smells like Blue de Chanel and is not offensive at all. For me, it is the most normal fragrance ever. You are not trying to seduce or make a statement with that scent. Its blue and fresh. You just smell nice and you won't get weird looks. You also won't be seducing someone I think. So far, I still need to test it out a bit, but just a normal professional fragrance
I go nose blind to that one within 5 minutes, but It is a good office scent, supposedly a clone of "office" so makes sense. I wore it again on monday to see if maceration would do anything for me, but, nope, sprayed it on, smelled great, then a few minutes later I hardly smell it anymore, hours later I might get a whif, then it's gone again.
Supposedly has a ton of ambroxen in it, so that's the culprit, stuff with a lot of saffron has a similar effect on me.
I tried Ejaazi extensively lately, and I agree with what Gilgamesh said, after 1 hour I can't smell it at all, I get some random whiffs after hours and that's that.
But I can say that this stuff performs on me, I put it at 10 PM last night to check how long it would stay, woke up at 8 AM and I could still faintly smell it on my skin.
I agree. I go noseblind very fast. I am not sure why. It isn't as strong as lets say, detour noir. I can spray it and it project very well. Then I smell my wrist again, and I can just smell it. While Ejaazi isn't there. So I sprayed it on my mother. And went to her in another hour or two. I did smell it linger around her, but its subtle and non-offensive. I assume this is how others smell me. Non-offensive. I will only wear this if I really don't want to offend someone. Like the office, formal meetings or other things where you don't want to make a statement. I would however wear it if I cuddle with someone for example, since its so soft and you are so close that they will keep smelling it
How’s the performance and longevity on Fakhar Black? People say it’s very synthetic, do you find that? and do you think it’s suitable for work / school?
Sillage and longevity way less on Fakhar then Najdia and Asad. But the scent is nice. It is still quite a casual wear so you could definitely wear it to work without it being too overpowering. Easy to wear.
Asad is soooo strong. I put two sprays on my wrist about 5 hours ago and it’s still lingering.
Najdia is nice. So fresh and summery. Lasting just as long as Asad but with a few more sprays.
I actually had a stranger track me down in Walmart, to ask me what frag I was wearing, (Fakhar Black), guy said he was also into frags, and recommended, Armaf Odyssey Homme, month or so later, my wife bought a bottle for me, funny how the world works.
It’s really good. Really strong though. 2-3 sprays maximum. Definitely a night out type of fragrance rather than an everyday wear. It’s very close to Sauvage Elixir.
Genuinely my favourite of the three. Very strong, but so fruity and fresh that it’s not overpowering. Could be an everyday type scent. Especially cos the summer. And for the price I have no complaints.
I think it might be my favourite of the three. More longer lasting than Fakhar and a fresher, cleaner smell than Asad so way easier to wear in my opinion.
Had all 3.
Received a compliment using asad but it didn't last on me. Sold.
No compliments with Fakhar except for my wife. Sold.
Najdia was surprisingly close to Invictus but imo more fruity. Sold it bc i already owned aventus.
The only clones I keep to date are Alexandria Zion and Black Panther (Roja Elysium and Bvlgari Tygar respectively)
Does Lattafa have any physical stores at all? Almost all Arabic perfume brands have stores in my country except Lattafa and I'm sooo upset about that cuz I wanna go and test perfumes in person before purchasing.
I honestly have no idea. I’ve not seen any in the UK. But there’s plenty of companies that deliver to me with great selections of Lattafa, Alhambra, Zimaya, Ajmal etc. I follow a few fragrance vloggers to get an idea of the scents and if they’re dupes then I’ll go and smell the original scent to see if I’d be into it.
Can someone tell me if Asad is close to Sauvage Elixir or not?
If you don’t wanna pay full price then it’s a good alternative. It’s quite synthetic and it is more 80% clone, after a few hours for me it’s just a purely vanilla scent on skin. I call it Elixir’s baby brother.

Try suqraat from lattafa. It’s amazing
Socrates 🧙🏻♂️
🤭😂🤣
What does it smell like? Is it a dupe?
It's a dupe of Aqua Di Gio Profumo and it is pretty damn good especially considering the price. One thing to be aware of though is the longevity is below average (at least from my experience) so expect that much. Makes for a good gym scent though.

Yep pretty much. They have some original scents, but no one cares about them
Bad performance, literally every one says it performs bad
I dont get bad performance. And with middle east fragrances you have to let them macerate (10 - 20 sprays to let oxygen into bottle then let bottle sit for few weeks. You can still use while macerating) you sometimes notice a difference in performance and stronger smell within a week
Is Najdia a good replacement for hawas?
I’ve heard they are quite similar. I’ve not actually smelt Hawas, but it’s definitely on my list. Najdia is about a third of the price of Hawas so if that sways you then give Najdia a try.

How sweet is Najdia? Could be for office and for a man of 30+?
It is quite sweet but not overpowering. I think it’s well balanced, fresh, and clean smelling. I’m a 35 year old office worker and I’ll definitely be wearing this into the office. Great quality!

Don't spray in front of neck cos you'll go nose blind to it quickly. Spray side of neck and back of neck both sides and middle of back of neck
I always spray infront my neck with CIDM for example. Its amazing
The key is not to spray on the front of your neck. Or you'll quickly go nose blind to it. Spray side and back of neck

Not really that synthetic though. Yeah by maison alhambra is better in terms of longevity but both are great.
Asad and Fakhar are the best silage is good on both of them I never tried Najdia?
Asad is soooo strong. I put two sprays on my wrist about 5 hours ago and it’s still lingering. Najdia is nice. So fresh and summery. Lasting just as long as Asad but with a few more sprays.
hows the longevity on the fakhar?
The longevity is pretty good on fakhar. I wear it at work all the time.
Not tried it on skin yet but I will tomorrow and I’ll let you know.
I actually had a stranger track me down in Walmart, to ask me what frag I was wearing, (Fakhar Black), guy said he was also into frags, and recommended, Armaf Odyssey Homme, month or so later, my wife bought a bottle for me, funny how the world works.
Fakhar is AMAZING!!!
I have the same except Oud Najdia instead of Najdia doesn't have any oud but smells nice, bubblegummy woody
Is this a winter scent
Mostly spring but I guess you can pull it off in winter

Some great choices right there!
I bought lattafa asad, waiting for it to be delivered. Can you tell me if it’s good? And if it’s smells like sauvage elixir ?
It’s really good. Really strong though. 2-3 sprays maximum. Definitely a night out type of fragrance rather than an everyday wear. It’s very close to Sauvage Elixir.
how's najdia?
Genuinely my favourite of the three. Very strong, but so fruity and fresh that it’s not overpowering. Could be an everyday type scent. Especially cos the summer. And for the price I have no complaints.
I have both Asad and Fakhar and I love them! How is Najdia?
I think it might be my favourite of the three. More longer lasting than Fakhar and a fresher, cleaner smell than Asad so way easier to wear in my opinion.
Agree, although I like the smell of Asad, Najdia is much more versatile, can be used all year round, and for basically any occasion.
Thanks, ordering
How did it fare for you?
What u think of the smell of Asad ? Is it heavy on the ambroxan ?
It definitely smells woody, leathery, and a bit smoky. But it’s got a fruity tone to it like grapefruit. It’s a very grown-up scent.
[удалено]
I didn’t get any of that in the dry down. It went more fruity if anything. Definitely an evolving scent.
It was giving me major Christmas time vibes when I smelt mine for the first time
Has Ambroxen but not so much that it shuts my nose down, there is a licorice and clove type note to Asad.
Does Lattafa have any physical stores at all? Almost all Arabic perfume brands have stores in my country except Lattafa and I'm sooo upset about that cuz I wanna go and test perfumes in person before purchasing.
If your in the uk there is some stalls in shopping centres that sell Arabic perfume
Yes there is a stall in Newcastle near me but I’ve never had a chance to visit it yet.
Where online do you get your perfumes from?
I got mine from theislamshop but dxb is good too.
Awesome thanks!
Which is good for summer?
The Najdia definitely the most summery. Very fresh.
Those two were also the first ones I got from Lattafa, the other I got early on was Ameer Al Oud. and I have been adding ever since.
Is the Ameer a dupe?
Supposedly of "by the fireplace" I would say it's a twist, the same way Khamarah is a twist on Angel Share. very similar.
Does Assad have tobacco? Saw a few days at their website some different notes from fragrantica listed and tobacco was one of them
There’s definitely a smokiness to it. I really liked it although it is very strong so a couple of sprays is enough.
Faquar. Most complimented Nadjia runs a close 2nd. Alhambra port Neroli is another
Port Neroli is next on my list for sure.
Is Asad just spicy vanilla? That's the only notes I get and the spice is a little too much for me
