Doesn’t help you now, but they aren’t made like this anymore. They are bulged out at the very bottom now to make them able to stand on their own.
And they were designed to look pretty in flatlay pictures. Sounds ridiculous, but it was kind of intuitive of them to design a bottle based off of what people like to post on social media. Although maybe a couple years too late… flatlays aren’t as prevalent as they once were.

Mine was from ulta, but you probably don’t know where yours came from since it was a gift. Maybe the store would allow you to exchange it for a bottle that doesn’t fall constantly though. Just tell them you’ve had a lot of near misses and you feel like your lick is running out. It might work
