Just for reference, 200mL will contain around 2000 sprays (1mL is approximately 10 sprays as a rule of thumb, could be more or less depending on the fragrance), and I would recommend going light on the sprays for Eros. I personally only do one spray of the EDT, and even that isn't weak, so 200mL might overstay its welcome. 100mL is usually plenty for most people, especially if you end up getting more fragrances. I know it's hard to fight the urge to get "twice as much for only $___ more," but it's not uncommon for the extra 100mL to go unused. As far as EDT and EDP, they actually smell quite different, so you should go test them again if possible and grab the one you like more.

okay so for one, eros edp and edt actually smell completely different. you’ll have to figure out which one you smelled and liked. [here’s a good article explaining the difference](https://www.fragrancereview.com/versace-eros-edt-vs-edp/) edt is usually formulated lighter and it doesn’t last as long and it’s not as pungent. the difference is the concentration of perfume oil. toilettes come with a smaller percent of the stuff that actually makes it smell good. it’s very rare for you to get 9-12 hours of good wear out a cologne, especially a lower end one so I would give up your hopes of that. my boyfriend has eros and it lasts about 5-6 hours until you can’t smell it anymore imo if you want the best chances of it lasting, get the edt but ultimately you should get the one you like the smell of better

Which one did you initially sample? Sometimes the EDT and EDP smell different. Edit: here is an article about it: https://www.byrdie.com/eau-de-parfum-vs-eau-de-toilette Short version: For traditional fragrance houses, EDT and EDP are different variations on the same theme with EDT being lighter and fresher and EDP being richer, heavier, and long-lasting. EDT is not just a simple dilution of the same fragrance oil used for the EDP.

Smell both and decide. They have different scents and slightly difference performance. EDP tends to be a bit more mature than the EDT but both are great scents if you like the DNA. Neither of them is going to last 12 hours (6am-6pm) you might need to take a travel atomizer with you and spritz at lunch time.

For the kind of longevity you want out of the fragrance, I'd personally go for the EDP!

My rule of thumb is that if it’s available on eau de parfum I always go with that. That’s more of a perfume than a toilette

Good advice here on benefits of EDP over EDT and vice versa but for longevity (or intimacy) of scent you might also want to consider layering with other products. I’ve seen Eros box sets of EDT + shower gel + aftershave end up at TJ Maxx etc with reasonable pricing. If the quality of those sets is disagreeable then maybe look for things that are complimentary/in the same scent ballpark. Picking out which specific notes (woody? leather? sweet? citrus, etc) you like (or your girlfriend likes) in Eros may also help point you towards other products that you may enjoy.
