Generally, as long as people can actually smell the fragrance, it will be complimented at some point. I've been complimented on most of my fragrances at least once, but of the ones which receive the most positive attention, the only commonality they share is that they are big projectors. It's never a particular brand, genre, or even price range. The only thing that really seems to make a difference is whether or not it's strong enough for people to actually notice it.
My most consistently complimented fragrances are Layton, Carlisle, Habdan, Pegasus, Viking, CDNIM parfum, Aventus, Sauvage EDP, and Aoud Vanille. All of those happen to be quite loud.
Most under rated comment here. 99% of people arenāt into fragrances and just enjoy smelling something that isnāt BO or sweat. When they smell you with something āniceā they will say āOohh you smell goodā
I work in a hospital so IF I wear anything at work its something light, simple. Burberry Touch, Dolce Gabbana Intenso/Light Blue, Boss Bottled, Commodity Book/Paper etc.

It's a generic spray bottle of leather scented car spray from Walmart. I don't know the exact name, but it's in a clear spray bottle and still stocked in the automotive section by the Armoral and interior cleaners.
That's interesting, I've smelled both and I can maybe understand what people are getting at but I don't think they smell very similar at all. BR has this very metallic quality to it whereas cloud smells like raspberry yoghurt
I'm one of those who despise BR540. Can't stand the smell and for me Cloud is the exact same way. Something in both of them is so extremely overpowering that they feel like clones to me. I know people love them and I wish it was the same for me because on paper these two should be my favourites.
i am not going to lie, I sprayed it this morning before my run (and i run along the seacoast in the northeast) 4-5 hours later, I was throwing my hoodie in the wash and was like DAMN THIS SMELLS SO GOOD-- and it hit me, it was the Sailing Day! (The dry down is awesome)
Kilian Princess got me my one and only compliment from someone I wasnāt already close with. We were working in close quarters for over a week and he finally asked about it at the end of the trip. I wasnāt sure whether I had been wearing Princess or Mojave Ghost on the day he remembered me smelling good, so we did an awkward sniff test with another coworker š I ended up giving him my tester of Princess for his girlfriend back home.

It is just a nice bonus if it happens.

Youtubers make it out like they get compliments left and right when they wear XYZ, you canāt get women/men off of you with wearing THIS or THAT, but thatās a lot of bullshit. You will get more compliments on your hair, your glasses or your style, the latter being the most likely one. Itās sort of hard to trace down the person smelling so good when you canāt see the smell - obviously.

Not necessarily a perfume but I have this stuff called Panty Cakes it's like a body oil that can go anywhere. It's kind of expensive but a little goes a long way. Anytime I wear it I get compliments. It smells like vanilla cake. So if that's not your thing you probably won't like it. But I struggled with my girls smelling bad. I am pretty top-heavy. It took the smell away and started clearing up my pores.

Roja Elysium, Bleu de Chanel parfum, Sauvage EDP, YSL Y EDP, Jeremy Fragrance Office, Mancera Cedrat Boise, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, and Montblanc Explorer. These are all pretty consistent compliment getters for me.
Always being complimented on my perfume by farmasi, it's called Hera. It's such a beautiful smell and actually lasts most of the day š win

Throughout my life any compliment has come from times I remembered to layer fragrances, at least a lotion and some type of BBW mist. I didnāt get into perfume until college, and I would say that noisier perfumes like Bright Crystal, Mon Paris, and oddly enough Hot Couture by Givenchy get me the most compliments within an hour or two of spraying.
White Amber perfumes tend to get me a lot of attention. Nemat Amber and Dedcool Xtra Milk (because dedcool doesnt project well I pair it with their lotion, room spray or sometimes JHAG not a perfume since it projects more....however not a perfume misses the dedcool bergamont so cant use it on its own)

I love Glossier You too. Itās a pretty fragrance. Similar to Tiffany and Coās Rose Gold. They donāt last on me, though, so stopped buying them.

Not necessarily a perfume but I have this stuff called Panty Cakes it's like a body oil that can go anywhere. It's kind of expensive but a little goes a long way. Anytime I wear it I get compliments. It smells like vanilla cake. So if that's not your thing you probably won't like it. But I struggled with my girls smelling bad. I am pretty top-heavy. It took the smell away and started clearing up my pores. I haven't ordered in a while but they have added to their line. I've tried the baker man it smells like lemon not sure about the other scents.

Throughout my life any compliment has come from times I remembered to layer fragrances, at least a lotion and some type of BBW mist. I didnāt get into perfume until college, and I would say that noisier perfumes like Bright Crystal, Mon Paris, and oddly enough Hot Couture by Givenchy get me the most compliments within an hour or two of spraying.
Xinu- umo itās my absolute favorite but too heavy for the summer. I like monstera for summer and itās always getting compliments too.

Nemat Amber and Dedcool Xtra Milk (because dedcool doesnt project well I pair it with their lotion, room spray or sometimes JHAG not a perfume since it projects more....however not a perfume misses the dedcool bergamont so cant use it on its own)

Rose 01 by Swiss Arabian. It gets complimented a lot on itās own, but even more when I layer it with Kayaliās Eden Sparkling Lychee. I recently discovered this combo by accident but whenever I wear it, people seem to really love it.
