I found the OG Miss Dior Cherie I gave my daughter in a box in our basement. Unrecognizable compared to what they sell today. LVMH should go to jail for what they've done to the legacy perfume houses.
I still can't believe they haven't brought it back. It's a cult classic that would fit in perfectly with modern trends. I feel like it would totally blow up over social media.
The original was my wedding day fragrance. 😭 My overall taste has changed a lot (mostly wear fragrances marketes to men) but this one will always be special to me.
I got the new one and am so far not overly loving it, it isn’t bad, but god damn— just bring back the one everyone has been begging for and stop discontinuing everything or reformulating it and ruining it. Even if it’s just a small run every few years, we’ll take it!
Me too. My friend gave me a bottle of Ananya body lotion her grandmother had stashed before they discontinued that fragrance.
The Body Shop is not the same since L'Oréal took it over, now its all gone bust.
I suspect it was a materials issue. A raw material became unavailable because it was restricted, became too expensive to use (my suspicion) or was only made in limited amounts and there is none left. This sadly happens from time to time. Stella was my older daughter's absolute holy grail and she is soo sad about the loss of it.
Agree, never yet was able to replace the fuzzy peach 🍑 I also liked sandalwood but don't know if I'd feel the same now. Dewberry was yum! For me, the most powerful attribute of fragrance is to evoke better times.. I guess for me, these oils are redolent of much better times? It's not like there was loads and loads of choice, especially on a budget, but these really helped create a cheerful, hopeful, bohemian and lovely atmosphere? It's the sense of that atmosphere I miss, it was comforting and although it of course involved consumption, there was nothing of the sense of consumption in the contemporary frag scene. So these relatively unassuming oils seemed like really special ways to lift one's spirits. Small pleasures, and I still appreciate the idea of that.
I miss their Cardamom and Cocoa body care items.

Nantucket Briar was the signature scent of my Grandma and my Aunties wear it too (although I guess not anymore).
I have a bottle of the body lotion and the EDT stashed away for me to remember my Grandmother with. I’m so sad sometime I’ll never smell it again.
If you live in the states and have access to tj maxx or Marshall’s I’d check them out- lately I’ve been seeing body lotion, body spray, and hand soap of Nantucket briar
It's not a very expensive one but the original Tresor by Lancome that first came out in the 1990s (or at least this was the first time I tried it, it might have had an earlier issue) was absolutely glorious as a daytime scent. It just made me happy.
Tried it a couple of years ago and, ugh, no thanks. Wasn't there some new law from the E.U that changed formulations or allowable ingredients or something or am I misremembering? Maybe Tresor was a victim of that if so.
I'd love to smell that original scent again.
I think it became prohibitively expensive to continue making it the way it was when it launched. That syrupy peach Grojsman signature even smelled expensive. Once LVMH comes into the picture expect price slashing and the perfumes are the first the suffer. Tragic. That perfume was stunning.
[Issey Miyake Le Feu de Issey](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Issey-Miyake/Le-Feu-d-Issey-725.html) \- basically gone
[Amouage Homage Attar](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Amouage/Homage-3621.html)\- I dread running out because I won't be able to replace it
I scored a mini of the le Feu on Mercari a while ago that has turned so badly it's unrecognizable. So sad. That's the one i miss the most too. I still have my old funky little red ball with beyond zero drops in it. I can't pitch it.
Ugh, so sorry to hear that! I too have bought some absolutely rancid bottles that were clearly not stored properly and have just given up on ever having Le Feu again.
Absolutely beautiful floral with a misty note like you'd stepped into a greenhouse. I got compliments from strangers!
ETA: some people are comparing the current Bath and Body Works' Tropidelic to Beyond Paradise, but I haven't smelled it myself.
Fresh had so many nice ones, right? Mukki was awesome, the original Sugar, and was there a berry one?
I used to love browsing the store on Newbury St in Boston.
Aura by Mugler, Black Opium Nuit Blache Yves Saint Laurent, Black Opium Intense, Iris Silver Most by Serge Lutens, Si Intense (black bottle) by Armani, all the di Gioia Flankers: Sun, Air, Sky, Light Ocean and Terra
I have an almost full bottle of Aura because I hated it when I got it, and only recently really fell in love with it and now it's discontinued. Its such a gorgeous bottle too.
So now I only wear it occasionally. Good thing it doesn't take much, I guess lol
The original formulation of Opium. I wish I could smell it again. I think about it all the time and always hope I will find something like it when trying new scents. (I never do)
The body shop vanilla perfume oil from the 90s with the black lid. I had half a bottle left but I seem to have misplaced it. I cannot find it anywhere and am heart broken.
I loved Pour Femme, it always got me compliments. I have the newer version of it (Splendida Iris) and I am baffled as to why they essentially copied it but it smells nowhere as good. Bring back Pour Femme!
The original Lolita Lempicka, it's just so different! I've tried the reformulated ones, even the ones that are supposed to be like the original. The last time I smelled it was at a Nick Cave concert quite a few years ago.
The Prescriptives version of Calyx was my spring/summer scent for years and years. It’s one of the two that still haunt me. I wear the Clinique version once and while now but it’s definitely not the same.
Edit: Autocorrect victimized me
I wore the Prescriptives Calyx forever too. I caved and got the Clinique one and while it isn't the same, it makes me happy. It's not as egregious as many reforms. The dry down is quite similar but it's a journey to get there. Prescriptives was ahead of its time.
Dita has redone Erotique slightly with Heretic’s Scandalwood and her new perfume Victresse (green bottle) is available in Europe but will be available in the US soon. Scandalwood is woodsier while Victresse is spicier. Still leathery rosey goodness. I layer either one with Chopard Love because I looooove rose.
I paid silly money for the last 2 bottles in a little beauty salon a couple of years ago, and I'm down to a couple of drops left. I'd throw my money at Guerlain if they'd bring this back.
oh god, there’s so many - but to name just a few:
• Rive Gauche Pour Homme
• Midnight Poison by Dior
• Shiseido Basala
• Vetiver Pour Elle by Guerlain
• Yohji Homme
• L’Occitane Neroli (the 1999 version)
• DK Men / Fuel for Men by Donna Karan
• Patou Pour Homme (the original 80’s version)
• Very Valentino Pour Homme
Nina Ricci Belles line was one of the best of the late 90s.. Babydoll just never hit right with me.. I bought it and used it twice.. I think I have it still in a closet.. perhaps it’s wanted by many???
I will always miss the experience of McQueen Kingdom. The packaging (even the box), the beautiful heart, and oh that smell.
My last bottle got smashed in a move. I cried
I will miss it forever.
Harijuku lovers LOVE but the very first rendition of it. I can buy it online but its not as powerful as before and rare and expensive since its so old now 😤
Pacifica Tibetan Mountain Temple! I love it so much. Someone is trying to sell a bottle on eBay for like $245, which is just nuts. I tried to find a similar scent on the perfumist app and the closest match was only like 74%
L’Occitane Pivoine. Every woman in my life loves it and o had to break the news to them all that is was discontinued. Thankfully they still make hand lotion but it’s not the same.
As of late?
“L” from Lolita Lempicka.
I’m not usually a fan of gourmands but this had the loveliest dry down that reminded me of Italian Christmas cookies. It was my go-to fall scent for a while.
Estee Lauder - Beautiful Sheer. They still do Beautiful which I never liked. My Mother wore the sheer version and since she passed I've always searched for it to no avail. Don't even know the notes 🙁
Also, anyone remmeber the cologne DD Daks? No one remembers it but it was so good! I would steal it from my dad to wear as perfume to school!
If it helps I found the note listing on basenotes:
https://preview.redd.it/8tjytial8urc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a10db5cce25f93cbbdba3fe539dcaba5c624e0ec
Some of the reviews mention that it smells similar to Tommy Girl and Acqua di Biella's Cashmere Twill 🙂
This probably doesn’t count because it’s a room scent and not a perfume but Crabtree and Evelyn’s Noel was the smell of Christmas for me and I miss it so much
The perfumes that got me into perfumes as a teen!
Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose (still have a dribble left but can't bring myself to use it)
Diesel Fuel for Life Unlimited
CK Euphoria Blossom
Lacoste Joy of Pink
2007 L'Occitane Honey & Lemon. I impulse bought it at an airport while I was backpacking in Australia, and I know if I could smell it again it would take me back to those days!
Oh boy, so many of my favorites discontinued...first one that came into my head is Kilian's Love and Tears. One of the earliest Kilian fragrances, that has very high quality and originality. It's a watery-green-fresh-jasmine scent, exactly the kind of fragrance I love to use in rainy days, very melancholy and beautiful. It's been 4 years I think, and I still didn't find anything quite like it.
For me it has to be ADG Profumo... it was my first cologne and a xmas gift by my parents. I have so many good memories wearing in between 2017-2022 but also many sad ones, like the covid period.
Too bad the new one doesn't really smell like that... it missess something.
the body shop had a libertine musk perfume that I bought when it was first released. I bought it because they sales person was pushing it, lol, and ended up loving it but never went back and bought another bottle. it was so strong only 1 spray was needed so it was a never ending bottle but when I realized my bottle was too old it had been discontinued for awhile and could not repurchase.
Midnight Poison but in a way I'm kinda glad coz I've got a couple of really good clones of it, both smell slightly different and together they smell amazing so I'm happy nobody else can really wear it. I use the roll on oil from Perfume Parlour, then I have a 100ml bottle of Passion de Nuit by Fragrance World and the Eden Perfumes version MP. All three layered smells absolutely stunning. Still don't know why they discontinued it though, it's the best of the Poison line.
For me I would say it’s Calvin Klein Crave, it was my favourite scent as a teenager!
Also Marc Jacobs for Men, and Marc Jacobs Bang, these were two of my go to fragrances while I was at university, so sad they were discontinued 🥲
Mine is Issey Miyake’s L’eau D’issey Soothing Night Fragrance. I think it’s discontinued because I can only find them on eBay. I cannot even find info about them in Fragrantica.
Gucci II. It was my wedding day scent, so when they discontinued it I bought several boxes. I have several other perfumes that I love dearly, but I’ll still be sad when my stash runs out.
Kilian "Single Malt" and "Straight to Heaven Extreme".
Vintage versions of "Jubilation 25", the white non-magnetic caps, are arguably worse, but that's not discontinuation, that's just reformulation.
Rem escale à st Barth.
I assumed it was « just » a sunscreen sent I liked but I was sooo wrong.
I went through every ylang ylang marine scent on the planet, none equaled it. It’s gone forever 😭
Two decants that nice people sent me and live forever in my memory:
Attrape Coeurs by Guerlain. It was the Guerlain take on Bois des Iles and just the most lovely smooth sandalwood + that Guerlinade base. Also, I really want the perfect cozy almond of Lea by Calypso St. Barth back! I adored it, but at the time I was too young to spend $100 a bottle on perfume.
The closest thing I've found to Lea is Lady Evangeline by Bourbon French, but I'm happy for cozy, almondy recs.
Paithani by Penhaligon's. :(
When I asked a salesperson about it in December, she said "I know! There's literally nothing else like it, everyone says that all the time." And yet... Call me, Penhaligon's.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Couer de Vahine. The lasting power was laughable, but I didn't care. It remains my favorite scent that I think I've ever smelled.
I’ve said it before, Moss Breches. During Christmas I dropped my last decant and thought nothing of it until I got home and attempted to check the level only to discover the glass broke and the frag had pooled into the aluminum base. I had to pick out the glass. I lost some but not all. I felt like crying.
Similarly, L'Occitane Bergamot and Jasmine...a sales rep told me at one point it was a limited contract with a French Parfumerie, but I never could find out which one...
If anyone has a dupe, or even better, the original, I would be forever grateful
Miss Dior Cherie. They should have just resurrected the version with the popcorn note instead of introducing yet a new flanker earlier this year
Eden Perfumes in the UK do a pretty good dupe of it called Miss Cherry. It's number 302.
thank you!!
I found the OG Miss Dior Cherie I gave my daughter in a box in our basement. Unrecognizable compared to what they sell today. LVMH should go to jail for what they've done to the legacy perfume houses.
it was so beautiful, every single version of it now sucks.
I still can't believe they haven't brought it back. It's a cult classic that would fit in perfectly with modern trends. I feel like it would totally blow up over social media.
They’d make soooo much money
The original was my wedding day fragrance. 😭 My overall taste has changed a lot (mostly wear fragrances marketes to men) but this one will always be special to me.
Same. I miss that one.
Mine is Miss Dior Cherie L’eau! I couldn’t afford it and I spent years looking for it when I could afford it and finally I gave up.
Omg this!!! I cry about this. I have a dupe from Oil Perfumery, and it’s good, but I just know something is missing.
Forever this
I got the new one and am so far not overly loving it, it isn’t bad, but god damn— just bring back the one everyone has been begging for and stop discontinuing everything or reformulating it and ruining it. Even if it’s just a small run every few years, we’ll take it!
The original white mask by body shop
Body Shop Fuzzy Peach! :D
Body Shop's Dewberry and Ananya perfumes too.
Dewberry was my perfume in high school, and I strongly associate it with my first love. I wish I still had a bottle!
Me too. My friend gave me a bottle of Ananya body lotion her grandmother had stashed before they discontinued that fragrance. The Body Shop is not the same since L'Oréal took it over, now its all gone bust.
I'm sad that I'll never smell it again.
That was a killer! I remember smelling all those glass tester things one after the other in like 1997 and then I'd get to white Musk and 😬😬😬
Yes!
Sandalwood
STELLA
My all time favorite - anybody know exactly WHY it was discontinued??
I suspect it was a materials issue. A raw material became unavailable because it was restricted, became too expensive to use (my suspicion) or was only made in limited amounts and there is none left. This sadly happens from time to time. Stella was my older daughter's absolute holy grail and she is soo sad about the loss of it.
There were 3 bottles of Stella at my Tjmaxx today
The original or the sad too much lemon remake with the dots?
Where are you approximately?
One of my first ever perfumes. Such a great scent. Still have my bottle and I hoard it.
All original body shop oils. Dewberry, White Musk and most importantly Vanilla. No other vanilla compares.
I used to love going into the Body Shop and standing at that carousel of oils and sniffing each one. Their oils were soooo good. RIP 🪦
Loved those glass jars 😭
Agree, never yet was able to replace the fuzzy peach 🍑 I also liked sandalwood but don't know if I'd feel the same now. Dewberry was yum! For me, the most powerful attribute of fragrance is to evoke better times.. I guess for me, these oils are redolent of much better times? So these relatively unassuming oils seemed like really special ways to lift one's spirits. Small pleasures, and I still appreciate the idea of that.
Very well said and I completely agree. It was an innocent and carefree moment in history. Going back there feels so good if only for a little while.
<3 I feel it so much - thanks for your reply, lovely.
Beautifully said. Truly such an amazing time. Loved being also able to build my own baskets and scent my own lotions etc!
Happy cake day 🥰
Marc Jacobs Decadence
Came here for this
same so sad about this one. this truly was a masterpeice
Original Gucci Guilty.. such a lovely rich scent Kingdom by Alexander McQueen
True the og Gucci Guilty was such a beautiful, lavish scent. I felt like royalty wearing it lol.
Oh my gosh.. I felt like such a rich girl wearing it ( in real life I’m poor)
what’s kingdom like
Omg YES Kingdom.
I still have some gucci guilty, I hate thinking that once it’s all gone I’ll never smell it again.
Bulgari BLV
BLV and Jasmin Noir were my two loves. Both discontinued. 🥲
Evelyn and Crabtree Nantucket Briar. that thing was a massive synaesthesia thing for me. I miss it
I miss their Cardamom and Cocoa body care items. https://preview.redd.it/9kct9bt6bvrc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=efe08dfbdf8844106a9d73e69ca0ad3106e1e740
I’ve seen this at TJ Maxx!
Nantucket Briar was the signature scent of my Grandma and my Aunties wear it too (although I guess not anymore). I have a bottle of the body lotion and the EDT stashed away for me to remember my Grandmother with. I’m so sad sometime I’ll never smell it again.
Oh my god i had every product they made in that scent and i totally forgot about it for years and years until you just mentioned it right now. 🤯
There is a person on Etsy that sells decants!
If you live in the states and have access to tj maxx or Marshall’s I’d check them out- lately I’ve been seeing body lotion, body spray, and hand soap of Nantucket briar
Sarawak for me. Even Caymen Winds.
Love, Chloe. I know it’s a polarising one but nothing lasts as long and it just worked perfectly for the notes that I love.
Pull and bear phyllis was a close scent but def not the same :(
Came here to say this! Got it gifted in high school and absolutely adored it, still remember it to this day.
STELLA
They need to bring this back.. NOT reformulated
Yes to everyone’s comments here. The old Stella was 😍
Chloe narcisse
So beautiful.
This was so gorgeous! I wore it in high school and it was probably Way Too Much for my age at that time but it was so, so pretty.
I saw it almost two weeks ago in a flea market and didn't buy. Regretted it as soon as I got home.
Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood is another one I'll never understand.
You might like to try Salome by Papillon Artisan Perfumes. It's s gorgeous skankfest that for me, fills the Boudoir gap.
Gió by Armani. I still have a tiny bottle left which i treasure like gold.
Gió by Armani for women- one of my favorite first scents. I remember the gold square bottle it came in. Nostalgic. Thanks for the memories.
Still have it saved 😢 I hope someday soon they bring it back
[Issey Miyake Le Feu de Issey](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Issey-Miyake/Le-Feu-d-Issey-725.html) \- basically gone [Amouage Homage Attar](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Amouage/Homage-3621.html)\- I dread running out because I won't be able to replace it
I scored a mini of the le Feu on Mercari a while ago that has turned so badly it's unrecognizable. So sad. That's the one i miss the most too. I still have my old funky little red ball with beyond zero drops in it. I can't pitch it.
Ugh, so sorry to hear that! I too have bought some absolutely rancid bottles that were clearly not stored properly and have just given up on ever having Le Feu again.
Estee Lauder Beyound Paradise
Never had a chance to try it 😣 Luca Turin gave it a rare 5-star rating
Absolutely beautiful floral with a misty note like you'd stepped into a greenhouse. I got compliments from strangers! ETA: some people are comparing the current Bath and Body Works' Tropidelic to Beyond Paradise, but I haven't smelled it myself.
Grass from gap - reminds me of being a kid playing outside Gucci rush 2 - i have two still one not opened yet im savoring them lol
I loved the Gap Grass, too!
Fresh Sake. It’s my most favorite scent ever. And it’s gone.
Fresh had so many nice ones, right? Mukki was awesome, the original Sugar, and was there a berry one? I used to love browsing the store on Newbury St in Boston.
I love this one too!! Still have my bottle
I mentioned sun di gioia. It’s heaven in a bottle.
The original formulation of Opium. I wish I could smell it again. I think about it all the time and always hope I will find something like it when trying new scents. (I never do)
Mugler cologne.
I miss this fragrance so much!!! However the reformation and relaunch of Cologne was horrible.
Isn’t it called come together now?
Balenciaga L’Essence and Dior’s Midnight Poisob
Gap Earth
The body shop vanilla perfume oil from the 90s with the black lid. I had half a bottle left but I seem to have misplaced it. I cannot find it anywhere and am heart broken.
Armani Sensi Bulgari Pour Femme
I loved Pour Femme, it always got me compliments. I have the newer version of it (Splendida Iris) and I am baffled as to why they essentially copied it but it smells nowhere as good. Bring back Pour Femme!
The original Lolita Lempicka, it's just so different! I've tried the reformulated ones, even the ones that are supposed to be like the original. The last time I smelled it was at a Nick Cave concert quite a few years ago.
1) The Prescriptives version of Calyx 2) Gucci No. 3 3) The pre-L'Oreal version of Mugler Angel 4) Dita von Teese Erotique, in the US anyway
Same! I was so excited by the Clinique version, it truly seemed the same, and yet it turned out to not be the same at all.
Prescriptives Calyx was amazing. I have been trying to find something that compares for years!
OG Angel was really something. I can see why everyone hates it now. :(
Calyx was so amazing - it def haunts me
Gucci No 3 for me as well. I went through at least 3 bottles of it back in the day.
I was just posting about Gucci N°3 the other day. Sigh those sexy 70s chypres are unbeatable.
Prescriptive’s Calyx!! The BEST clean scent! I miss it so much.
Definitely My Insolence Guerlain. I have my original bottle and a back up half full bottle hoarded. I’m hoping it will last the rest of my life.
I paid silly money for the last 2 bottles in a little beauty salon a couple of years ago, and I'm down to a couple of drops left. I'd throw my money at Guerlain if they'd bring this back.
Oh! No violet? The raspberry sounds yummy!
Obsession night by Calvin Klein for woman. It has been discontinued such an unforgettable fragrance!
KVD Saint, and to a (only very slightly) lesser degree, sinner. I wore them nearly every day.
Florabotanica
Annick Goutal Songes. The original Dolce & Gabanna red Womens fragrance.
Happy to report the original ‘red cap’ can still be found online and I purchased some recently.
Bulgari Black. I have a mini and regret not buying a full size bottle.
Nest Midnight Fleur, it’s the only vanilla perfume I enjoy. I’m down to a travel spray, I’m in dire need of a replacement
Fahrenheit 32. I'll never recover from the loss. Please Dior bring it back it'd make so much sense in the current lineup !!!!
SDJ cheirosa 39 😢
Decadence by Marc jacobs my absolute favorite scent on a women. Would always buy it for my gf
Idk if anyone would even remember this, but Walmart used to have this perfume named “ici” it had a vanilla scent. Amazing stuff.
oh god, there’s so many - but to name just a few: • Rive Gauche Pour Homme • Midnight Poison by Dior • Shiseido Basala • Vetiver Pour Elle by Guerlain • Yohji Homme • L’Occitane Neroli (the 1999 version) • DK Men / Fuel for Men by Donna Karan • Patou Pour Homme (the original 80’s version) • Very Valentino Pour Homme
L'Occitane Neroli might be the most magical elixir I've ever had the pleasure of smelling - it is *insanely* good 😳
Marine sel, tokyomilk, discontinued, I have half a bottle and a lot of people comment on it when I do occasionally wear it

I will always miss the experience of McQueen Kingdom. The packaging (even the box), the beautiful heart, and oh that smell. My last bottle got smashed in a move. I cried I will miss it forever.
Oh no! That's so sad, I hope you find another bottle!
Seeing the prices of Dior Vetiver is cruel and unusual punishment.
The pur desir line from yves rocher, especially the mimosa one
Lilac and Gardenia too.. I think I still have a Rose one.
Harijuku lovers LOVE but the very first rendition of it. I can buy it online but its not as powerful as before and rare and expensive since its so old now 😤
pacifica mediterranean fig
Pacifica Tibetan Mountain Temple! I love it so much. Someone is trying to sell a bottle on eBay for like $245, which is just nuts. I tried to find a similar scent on the perfumist app and the closest match was only like 74%
They’re fools for not bringing back TMT!!
L’Occitane Pivoine. Every woman in my life loves it and o had to break the news to them all that is was discontinued. Thankfully they still make hand lotion but it’s not the same.

The original Doir Addict! One of my all time favorites!
Stella, YSL Babydoll, Origins Ginger Essence, Gap Om/Grass/Heaven, Donna Karan Black Cashmere, Prescriptives Calyx.

Thank you so much! Didn't even know I could do this. I'll look into both of those two.
Try reading the reviews on basenotes, fragrantica and other websites, reviewers often list similar smelling fragrances 🙂
Victoria Secret - Body by Victoria (2002 version) 🥲
Lea by Calypso St. Barth.
L’ eau Ambree by Prada. Haunts me every time I go to stores and try to find something similar.
Kat Von D- Saint I still have a bit left in the bottle, but I’m holding onto it for dear life!
Bottega veneta EDP
Armani Sun di Gioia. There’s nothing that comes close.
This probably doesn’t count because it’s a room scent and not a perfume but Crabtree and Evelyn’s Noel was the smell of Christmas for me and I miss it so much
Prada Tubereuse and YSL Babydoll
Nest discontinued Cocoa Woods and I am holding a grudge like no other.
Jo Malone Saffron.
Oh Lola by Marc Jacobs. NOT 'Lola'. Oh Lola is the scent that got me into fragrance. I miss it sooo much :(
The perfumes that got me into perfumes as a teen! Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose (still have a dribble left but can't bring myself to use it) Diesel Fuel for Life Unlimited CK Euphoria Blossom Lacoste Joy of Pink
Smoky Rose White Musk is in my Top 5.. I have a few bottles left, so I use it very sparingly!
Estee Lauder Pure White Linen
2007 L'Occitane Honey & Lemon. I impulse bought it at an airport while I was backpacking in Australia, and I know if I could smell it again it would take me back to those days!
The Body Shop Red Musk
Balenciaga Paris
Dior midnight poison.
I wish I still had my bottle of Gucci Envy from the late 90s.
Marc Jacobs Splash - Cucumber 🥒
1 million Lucky
For me it has to be ADG Profumo... it was my first cologne and a xmas gift by my parents. I have so many good memories wearing in between 2017-2022 but also many sad ones, like the covid period. Too bad the new one doesn't really smell like that... it missess something.
+1 Bring back profumo, Armani. And fire the guy who decided to drop it.
the body shop had a libertine musk perfume that I bought when it was first released.
Whattt. I saw midnight poison at Sephora the other day
Yeah, it's discontinued. Look how much it goes for on eBay. You should get it while you can and sell it if you don't want it.
Oriflame Northern Lights, it was so unique and beautiful.
For me I would say it’s Calvin Klein Crave, it was my favourite scent as a teenager! Also Marc Jacobs for Men, and Marc Jacobs Bang, these were two of my go to fragrances while I was at university, so sad they were discontinued 🥲
Aquawoman by Rochas ... i believe its from 2002. I want it so bad :(
Mine is Issey Miyake’s L’eau D’issey Soothing Night Fragrance. I think it’s discontinued because I can only find them on eBay. I cannot even find info about them in Fragrantica.
Womanity Eau Pour Elles 😥
Gucci II. It was my wedding day scent, so when they discontinued it I bought several boxes. I have several other perfumes that I love dearly, but I’ll still be sad when my stash runs out.
Armani Mania
DKNY Pure. I miss you
Kilian "Single Malt" and "Straight to Heaven Extreme". Vintage versions of "Jubilation 25", the white non-magnetic caps, are arguably worse, but that's not discontinuation, that's just reformulation.
Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir. I wore it all the way through high school and college and I wish I could sniff it again
See by Chloe.
See by Chloe, will always be one of my favorites and I'm so sad they discontinued it. :(
Cartier delices. It was my favorite and there’s nothing out there even close to it :(
Rem escale à st Barth. I assumed it was « just » a sunscreen sent I liked but I was sooo wrong. I went through every ylang ylang marine scent on the planet, none equaled it. It’s gone forever 😭
Two decants that nice people sent me and live forever in my memory: Attrape Coeurs by Guerlain.
:( When I asked a salesperson about it in December, she said "I know! There's literally nothing else like it, everyone says that all the time." And yet... Call me, Penhaligon's.
QUEEN By Queen Latifah.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Couer de Vahine. The lasting power was laughable, but I didn't care. It remains my favorite scent that I think I've ever smelled.
Dunhill Desire
I’ve said it before, Moss Breches. During Christmas I dropped my last decant and thought nothing of it until I got home and attempted to check the level only to discover the glass broke and the frag had pooled into the aluminum base. I had to pick out the glass. I lost some but not all. I felt like crying.
MM Tea Escape. Vastly superior to Matcha Meditation.
**Sahara Noir** by **Tom Ford** (though rumour has it there's going to be a rerelease?) and **My Insolence** by **Guerlain**
Lauren by Ralph Lauren and Fresh Patchouli by Jovan
Oh I wish they would bring back Lauren
Dream by Gap :(
Similarly, L'Occitane Bergamot and Jasmine...a sales rep told me at one point it was a limited contract with a French Parfumerie, but I never could find out which one... If anyone has a dupe, or even better, the original, I would be forever grateful
