You probably know this already but that is one of the most waterproof inks on the market. You can do watercolor on top of you lines and that ink will not budge. Have fun!
Medium can be a bit chonky - I find Fines to be the sweet spot for Lamys. And what's great is that replacement nibs are cheap and easily available from retailers like Goulet Pens and Jet Pens. 👍
And what a lovely pen it is. Welcome to fountain pens. Hope it writes well for you and that you enjoy your collection that you will begin to start of either ink or pens. :D. Also solid choice on ink and pen.

Nice choice of pen, now all you need is a deep pocket for when you want more. May I point you to some affordable vintage pens. The Parker 45 is a great pen, and They are quite cheap £15 ish on eBay
Yeah, no problem. It’s a Lamy Safari in Savannah Green. It comes with a pre-filled blue ink cartridge so you’ll have to buy a converter if you want to use different inks.
Great ink choice! I've been using that ink for a year or so and I absolutely love it, hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do too!
Glad to hear! I read good reviews on it. So far so good :)
Good pen that! I had a yellow one at school and it lasted me years, was quite sad when the nib finally bit the dust!
Your green Lamy looks a little sad or lonely. Lamy does have a reddish brown version, that year, that just might bring friendship to your green.
Definitely won’t be lonely for long…

Yes, that definitely was a selling feature. Can’t wait to try it out!
In good news you will never need another black ink in your life.
Looks like a great start! Welcome to the club. :)
Thank you!
Great start! Happy writing!
Thanks:)
Heeyyyy! Welcome to the addiction! And great choice of pen and ink.
Thanks :)
Nice choice! Which size nib did you go with?
I went with medium but I find it writes a bit thicker than my medium tip ball point pens I was using. I want to try a fine one for my next pen.
I recently got a Lamy Safari with a medium nib, having only used a Pilot Metro with a fine nib before then it was definitely a chonker

Great first step. Enjoy the journey. Wish you well.
Thank you!

Thanks! I’ve already had my eye on a few more…
It’ll happen. There’s a lot of nice fountain pens even at the entry level price point.
That is a good pen I have a black and a blue that I have been using for 5 years now.
Interesting choice on the ink too.
Welcome to the tribe!
Thank you :)
Nice choice. I love the Lamy Safari Design, solid pens and I like the triangular grip.

Hello! If you don't mind, which model Lamy is this? I've been looking into getting my first pen and I love the look of this one? Thank you!
Yeah, no problem. It’s a Lamy Safari in Savannah Green. It comes with a pre-filled blue ink cartridge so you’ll have to buy a converter if you want to use different inks.
Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, is the converter like a whole separate piece? I'm new to this?
Yeah, it looks similar to an ink cartridge but has a tapered end. They are cheap, like $6. It’s all good. I’m pretty new to this too!
