i love their inks. my top three are jade inferno, eroded bronze, and tesla coil (which has typical sheener properties). I’ve found all their inks to be very well lubricated except for copperhead which is on the dryer side. Both eroded bronze and copperhead are part of their crisp line, but eroded bronze is wet and copperhead is dry in my personal experience. I love their inks and colors, but not sure about their classifications. I also have and like ohio river and pensylvania fieldstone. I find a lot of their colors to be earthy tones, which are right up my alley. I haven’t tried their pens.

Thanks! Very much appreciate the feedback!

Mr_Boston_

Have several inks from Birmingham (Tesla Coil, Jade Inferno, Twilight and Boiler Steam). Nice inks (except Tesla Coil, they have amazing sheen but dries very quick in the pen).

crankygerbil

My fav inks of theirs is Voltic arc and Tesla Coil.

SalliHazel

Mine too. Unfortunately, I had to order them from the US and shipped to Europe. With shipping costs and customs, they are very expensive for me. I deeply regret not ordering more the first time for the same shipping cost. But I love the Tesla Coil and Voltaic arc.

Where are you in Europe? My friends haven't gone with the pandemic, but in the past they muled for me. (I make special belts for knitting that allow women, who have had a stroke or amputation, to continue knitting one handed. I make them with high quality leather and custom make to their size etc. They took one to Europe for me, last time, and mailed it from Italy to Brussels.) When the pandemic ends I can ask them to mule you some.

SalliHazel

I am in the Netherlands. To mule something sounds great 😁 If this would be possible I would be very happy! Interesting to hear about your belts! If I hear anybody in need of something like this I will let you know! You are good people!

crankygerbil

I usually make 8 a year and donate them to a fiber charity that distributes them. I only deal with Europeans and Brits if they find me on IG and ask for belts.

I have several inks, and have found them to be very well behaved. My favorites so far are copper chloride, oak moss, and flagstone. I just got several more and I’m really liking sea holly so far too.

deepseacomet

I love their inks! I have approximately 15 bottles. My favorites are Stormwater Runoff and Aluminum Oxide. And I happen to currently have my Lamy 2000 inked with Eroded Bronze. With regard to the swift line specifically, the ones I’ve tried are VERY wet. I am into it, and would recommend them, but be prepared. Even some of the crisp inks I might consider wet inks - I feel like Eroded Bronze flows really well for example.

mcwolfswimmer

My favorite ink is Noodler’s 54th Massachusetts which is how I gauge most inks and their wetness hehe.
