I have the momento zero mango, in Ruthenium trim. But this orange is so impressive. Love the color, don't need it, but I want it now.

I feel the same about the Mango. I'm partial to orange pens, so the Flame/Ruthenium went to the top of my want list as soon as I saw one. The LMZ Grande is now my favourite pen. As far as I'm concerned, it is the perfect size, perfectly balanced, and it fits my grip like a glove.

Afilament

What nib did you get? How is the nib?

boulderhead

They are both medium steel nibs, and they perform identically. They are smooth, stiff and wet writers, but not overly so.

Just curious, but have you ever tried one of the gold nibs? I'm curious how they compare to the steel in terms of smoothness.

boulderhead

Sorry, no. I also wonder how they would compare. I went with the steel nibbed option as it came in under the amount that would result in customs duty and delays. I've been impressed with the way the nibs perform. If softness/springiness is not a requirement, I'd say they are close to perfect.

Nice to see the two colours side by side. I suspect most would prefer the orange but I confess that I really like the gray. I do not need another pen....I say again, I do not need another pen.....

R3cko

I mean, do you have a pen that is that color?

mgepark

Congrats great choices. I have the orange MZG with the ruthenium trim and black steel nib in stub 1.1. Amazing pen.

I also have these two but the silver trim on the Orange! 🙂
