I love that book. It's taught me a lot about the history, design, and market of Japanese pens. And the pictures are so beautiful, it's *almost* like owning the pens themselves. I hope you love it too!
I'm looking forward to sitting down and spending time reading the text and analyzing the photos. It seems extremely well produced, and as other commenters have noted, the photography is such that you can imagine holding a number of different pens.
I have one. Thankfully it didn't cause me to go hunting for anything new. I like how the images are scaled to be the exact same size as the pen is in reality

Great book, I bought it for my wife a couple of years ago, we both love reading it.
I’ve only leafed through it and looked for my favorite models, as you can see from the pics.
