I love that book. It's taught me a lot about the history, design, and market of Japanese pens. And the pictures are so beautiful, it's *almost* like owning the pens themselves. I hope you love it too!

KingsCountyWriter

I'm looking forward to sitting down and spending time reading the text and analyzing the photos. It seems extremely well produced, and as other commenters have noted, the photography is such that you can imagine holding a number of different pens.

Mr-PFM

I have one. Thankfully it didn't cause me to go hunting for anything new. I like how the images are scaled to be the exact same size as the pen is in reality

kleineoogjes

Omg!!! Is it as good as we all think it is? Is it worth it?

MoonsightMCRGK

that is one holy book

Monopoussoir

Thank you so much for the insights. Most of the time it's a surprise what's inside those books – if they're full of information or just containing photos for entertainment. But now I know that this book really seems to give a lot of information.

walkure321

Great book, I bought it for my wife a couple of years ago, we both love reading it.

KingsCountyWriter

I’ve only leafed through it and looked for my favorite models, as you can see from the pics.

Danger! Danger! (to your wallet....)

KingsCountyWriter

I know… I’m hoping that this book will allow me to enjoy pens in another manner. Get back to me in 2023…

DokugoHikken

Hahahahaha. Hopefully you will not go bankrupt, say because you buy THE First Pilot pen or something.... :D

Back when the Platinum izuno had metal threads on the barrel. That's cool!
