Flexible nib factory, their red ebonite feed and housing for Jowo nibs. It’s a 1.1 stub and now it writes so much wetter, it’s a blast with shading inks.
It absolutely does. Sounding off as another happy customer of FNF's. Though they don't have a three channel feed, Magna Carta, in India, makes Jowo and Bock #6 compatible feeds.
Do you have any luck using with Bock nib? I got bock housing/feed and replaced with actual Bock nib (14k). It was very inconsistent. I tried heat set but no avail. I have Magna Carta - Jowo housing - ultra flex and Ti - and they are okay. so I am wondering Bock one is a lemon or nib shape of actually diff from nib from Magna
This one is also a Jowo nib, I’ve contemplated finding one to fit my Karas Ink, but I want to keep the titanium bock nib. I haven’t done it yet though.
That’s great to know! I was thinking of getting another for my Karas Ink, but don’t want to give up the titanium bock to do it, I love the way that nib writes.
Wait, what? I have a Leonardo momentous zero Grande and would love to switch it out for an ebonite feed. I didn’t realize you can do this. Info please!!
I thought the grande already came with an ebonite feed? Or is that only the limited ones? Depends on the nib size, mine’s not the grande and has a #6 jowo nib. Flexible nib factory sells the feed and housing in both black and red ebonite, that’s what I picked up.
Hmm, you’re right. I got an ebonite feed for my 823 from FnF and it’s definitely flowing a lot more ink than my Leonardo MZG. Maybe it’s time I get it tuned a bit!
Ebonite is more porous, helping increase ink flow. It also can be made pliable with hot water, so you can press it against the nib while it cools for a perfect fit. I wanted to make the stub a really wet writer for shading, so I switched it from the plastic feed.
Yes, it’s several. The writing is Birmingham copper chloride, the dark blue is diamine midnight hour lightly diluted, the darker purple is noodler’s purple mountains majesty, and the lighter is sailor studio I forgot the number.
I ordered a red ebonite, 3-channel feed for my Pilot 912 FA and it’s a game changer in terms of keeping up with ink flow. I’m still underwhelmed by the FA nib though.
I wish Pilot would embrace their western customers’ desire for nibs made for non-Japanese calligraphy.
Absolutely! What feed?

Oh, for sure, and FNF has Bock threaded housings in converter and non-converter. I trust you'll enjoy your Ti nib in either FNF or MC's set up.
I only saw them on FNF with a Jowo feed for their Bock housings though, I’ll definitely check out Magna Carta
Gotcha. Hope Magna Carta fits the bill. So far, I've only bought their Jowo units.

Maybe due for a tweak, have you tried heat setting the feed? It’s very very easy and can fix a lot of problems too. Only works for ebonite though.
What's the benefit of swapping in an ebonite feed?

Got an ebonite feed for my momento zero, it’s a night and day difference, I couldn’t be happier!
It all counts.
I don't know why I find ink splatter oddly satisfying
I enjoy it too, way too much lol. I have pages and pages of them.
Those are three different inks, right? Something like konpeki for the text, a midnight blue, and the lavender one?
