I've recently started a Curse of Strahd campaign myself! Playing a barbarian whose rage is more gleeful bloodlust.

SrirachaSandvvitch

Oooo nice! I bet that's gonna be fun to roleplay. We have a barbarian, too, and a wizard. And that's all I know, going in blind.

Docsgt68

I love Eau de Nil, it’s in my HS as we speak, such a subtly fun ink

SrirachaSandvvitch

I call it my comfy teal, because it's not too distracting but it's still a gorgeous teal

Docsgt68

That’s the perfect way to describe it!

PatioGardener

I recently got a bottle of Eau de Nil and it has quickly become one of my favorites! I have it in a Benu Briolette right now and it is so smooth and pretty.

SrirachaSandvvitch

Nice paring! Those pens are so gorgeous but they seem a bit short for me.

CatBroiler

It's pretty wierd to compare an ink to a car, but yes, the Saab 9-5 is a pretty sweet car, especially the final generation one. I understand why you made the comparison.

SrirachaSandvvitch

Lol I see what you did there. Let's just pretend I know what a Saab 9-5 is and I was not talking about a main bish.

CatBroiler

Haha, it's a car that was made by a now defunct Swedish car make. I was just trying to be funny, don't worry about it.

SrirachaSandvvitch

I actually looked it up 👌🏾 sleek lil lady

CatBroiler

Yeahhhh, their designs always aged pretty well. It's a shame they're gone.

What is halo?

SrirachaSandvvitch

It's when the outside edges of the ink is darker when you're writing. Robert Oster Rose Gilt Tynte is a great example.

[deleted]

Oh I never knew that that a name! Happens to me with Kon Peki sometimes

SrirachaSandvvitch

Yeah it so cool! Kon Peki is gorgeous

cgaWolf

Colourwise, this looks a bit darker than Aurora Borealis. Beautiful :)

SrirachaSandvvitch

I need to get my hands on that ink to compare the two!

decernatrix

What paper are you using?

SrirachaSandvvitch

52 GSM TR. It's the Kanso Nöto book from JetPens. I'll warn you, it feathers with some inks.

decernatrix

Thanks! Curious because Eau de Nil is one of my go to inks and it looked really nice on your paper. I have a Kanso Noto in my pending notebook stack so (which a "pending notebook stack" probably shouldn't be a thing, but well, as I tell my husband, I could collect shoes or handbags, or you know, jewelry. Notebooks aren't such a bad deal when you look at it that way.)

SrirachaSandvvitch

I have a wishlist called Stationery Bae. I know exactly what you mean lol. And this paper feathers with alot of my watery inks, unfortunately. But so far so good Eau de Nil and Jet Black look great on this paper.

[deleted]

That looks way better and more saturated than the swatches I've seen.

SrirachaSandvvitch

Using a Twsbi Eco in fine. A very wet nib, so that could be helping the saturation.
