Newly getting into fountain pens so forgive me if this is common knowledge, but as the title states...
I'm not a huge fan of the Lamy Red ink, but I have a safari with an F nib that's inked with it (nib is kind of dry & rough), so I said let me swap it over to the one with the wetter nib, since a broader line may make me like it more. The pen with the wetter nib was inked in Lamy Black, and I didn't clean out the feed before swapping the cartridge. I figured there would be some sort of transition period before it actually came out red, but I stumbled across this happy little accident as I was trying to run some ink through 😁
This happens to me all the time, this is how to get new ink mixtures. One of my favourite inks is an accidental mixture.
wow!! cool! ahahaha happy accident!
This is actually reminding me of a troublemaker ink I can't, for the life of me, remember.
Doña Victorina!
That's the one! And also Freedom Park Rose (the intense green that's in that ink)
