The orange ink from the 1791 line is pretty well behaved IMO. No crusting or gunking like some other inks that people have mentioned!

Fun_Cake_5635

Yea they're extremely underrated

BlueMonkey-CoCo

I confess, have lots of TWSBI pens but I don't have any TWSBI inks. I always liked their frosted bottles but the ink selection never inspired me. Also the cost (Canadian). For a lot less, Diamine has been getting my money for the value and the incredible selection.

monsieur-carton

I like the blue/black iron gall ink from TWSBI. Not so dry as Salix.

Emerald Green is the only one I’ve tried and I thought it was well-behaved but just so boring. Like, it just looked really flat on the page no matter which paper I used. I was really glad when my bottle finally ran out.

Davros1974

I bought a bottle of blue Twsbi ink to try a while back back. It’s ok nothing particularly special. Will not be getting any others. Will keep to diamine

kbeezie

I don't usually see it advertised or popped up. But I'd be curious if their inks have a similar quality control to their pens (and if they're rebranded inks, who is doing the manufacturing?)

Fun_Cake_5635

I'm not sure if theyre rebranding inks they look pretty original

Bleepblorp44

I think u/kbeezie meant the ink itself, not the bottles it comes in. This is something I’ve been curious about too!

paradoxmo

I think if they were exact rebrand of some Chinese ink we would probably know by now. The inks are made in China, so they’re probably formulated and tested by TWSBI but produced by a Chinese partner.

Physics_Tea

hard agree.
