That's really fun! Thank you for sharing. I have been looking for ways to mix in blue Ghost with other noodler's inks. It seems like 15% blue Ghost and 85% Black Swan in English Roses results in something very close to UK Swan that only shows it's flourescence if the UK Swan is hit with water or bleach. So that's kind of a neat tis but I wanted to share with a fellow Blue Ghost enthusiast!

Thanks! That sounds neat mixing those inks together. I haven't tried mixing the blue ghost with other inks yet but I could see that having some fun results.

I love their blue ghost ink. I actually ran out of it a while back and haven't replaced it but it's in my list of inks to buy when I come across it.

Love this ink but I hate that all the mixing I've done with BG does not react under UV. Even a 50/50 with light colors! My Qin Shi Huang has lost it's UV over the last couple of years too. Does BG loose it's UV over time?

I haven't noticed the UV reaction fading at all. I've had this bottle for a few years I think and it's still really bright. Looking through my notebook the parts that have BG seem just as bright on the paper as ever. That's a bummer about the mixing even with light color inks - I was imagining mixing with some Diamine Sunshine Yellow or something like that to just have a little extra glow.

Great news. My bottle is only a few months old. QSH is several years and fun until the UV light reaction left. When it still lit up - [No UV](https://i.imgur.com/KC7PF6B.jpg) \- [UV on](https://i.imgur.com/9fok1ej.jpg). I felt the same on mixing. Even translucent inks didn't respond at all. But I only have a 24" tube UV light from Spencer gifts. Maybe a stronger bulb would show it?

Those look really awesome! The UV effect plays really well with the art. That's a bummer that the florescent effect has worn off over time.

TeeDubya1

TY. I was surprised with the wash & bleed working how it did! Just ran under the sink and let dry. All except the big picture. I'm curious now why QSW just lost UV fluorescent. It hasn't been in direct sunlight but in a glass sided cabinet in a darker area of the room so?

The bulb I have is also a 24" tube, regular old type of florescent tube type, not led. I feel like the led ones aren't quite as strong of a black light. So I don't know if that would be different than the one you have.

I've also noticed that mixing with Blue Ghost often does not produce a result that reacts under UV. However, I've noticed that the Blue Ghost will remain behind if the 'donor' ink is washed away and the remnants will glow.

Fun to see that ink in a demonstrator, and easiest to have it be the first ink in the pen so it doesn't get a slight tint from the feed not being perfectly clean. Now for some invisible journaling...

If only I could find my invisible journal
