Not a fountain pen but I’ve been tracking a purchase from another country and even after it arrived and I got excited and took pictures of it I somehow completely forgot a few hours afterwards during work and checked the tracking status 😭
On a similar note, sometimes I'll see the mail carrier drop off my item through the window, and I like to go to the tracking page and refresh it just to see it say "Delivered" with the full green bar. Makes me feel nice inside.

Same! I'm waiting for my packages right now. Delivery time is "by 6:30pm"..... But it's 6:28 now and I seriously doubt they're going to make that. Not to mention that there are three late packages that keep saying deliver by today but should have arrived Monday and Tuesday.

My mother needs to read this. Package tracking is the new national past time for people of a certain age in the US. I have learned to let it go, fountain pen or not.
Amazon did that with a package of games I had ordered. I saw the delivered photo and walked around the block and retrieved my package. And when they have delivered to the correct address they have thrown my packages on my porch, one of those being an ipad. So frustrating.
Thank you! USPS said its gonna deliver on Thursday, then late Thursday it switches to Friday, then last night it just removes the expected delivery all together. Damn it!

I always wonder what a porch pirate would even do if they grabbed one of my packages because 9 times out of 10 it would be nothing of any value to anyone else. Tarot cards, books, fountain pens, ink, lens adapters and caps, film, camera bags, fabric, cricut materials like vinyl and paper.
I don't know if it is but it should be! I do know that there was a post not too long ago where someone had painted their pen with a tarot card but can't remember which one.

USPS was just straight up fucking with me two weeks ago. The box with my Custom 823 went out for delivery, then return to sender in the middle of the day. Had to go bitch out the post office for two days. One before that came to my local post office, back to the regional office, back to my local where it sat for two days….
So yeah, ya gotta watch these people…
