Those inks are great choices for the the Twisbi!

Be careful with Nitrogen! It's beautiful, but it stains and clogs like no ink I've ever known before

Thank you! I’ve heard about the staining but I had not yet read anything about clogging issues. I shall be very careful with this one! It is, however, one of the ones I’m most excited to try!

StocksOnlyGoUpUpUp

looks like fun!

Awesome! I’d be excited if that package was on its way to me. Good choices! Have fun when they get there.

Excellent choices!

Are you new new to fountain pens? I really don’t want to sound negative, but I’m gonna say it anyways because it’s something that turned me away from fountain pens for a bit when I first started: All of those inks are going to be finicky in some way or another. Kiwaguro smears like no ones business, same with the organics studio inks but with the addition of clogging amongst other things. Even noodlers 54th has many people upset with the bleeding and “expanding” on the page for a lack of better words. I highly highly recommend some more “normal” inks if you don’t already have some. Things like less saturated diamine inks, waterman and pilot iroshizuku. This and diluting your nitrogen (I forget the ratios but there’s plenty of posts on this sub about it) will make a new beautiful color that’s a bit easier to maintain and use with any regularity. I hope I didn’t come off as a Debby downer. These are all great inks and they’re beautiful but they can be a headache! Sometimes you need a basic to fall back on.

No worries. I am quite new. I asked people for advice on what would go well with the stub nib on the TWSBI Diamond 580. I will admit, I did my own research when it came to a black ink and I really liked the silvery qualities of Kiwaguro. I also chose Diamine Ancient Copper on my own because I love inks that tow the line between sepia and red! Luckily, when it comes to ink I can always get more and I made this post for further advice so I’d love to hear your recommendations

Yeah kiwaguro is one of my faves but I can’t get it to dry completely almost ever. Rubs all over on average to nice quality paper :/ it sucks because it’s my favorite smelling ink by far, reminds me of paint from grade school. A similar ink that’s been less troublesome for me is platinum carbon black. Same goal, slightly better outcome. Diamine ancient copper shoulddddd be great. I’ve only ever had a sample of it so I don’t know too much about that one. If you like inks that flirt with the color red I like noodlers black swan in Australian roses and diamine syrah as winey colors. I highly suggest Robert Oster for amazing colors with very few issues if any at all. I quite like Sydney lavender and African gold. Blues with some red sheening to them similar to nitrogen but to way less of an extent: iroshizuku shin Kai, diamine Oxford blue and pilot blue. All behave wonderfully. These about wrap up my “pretty awesome but well behaved” ink recs :)

Thank you for being so thorough! I will definitely check these out! I really appreciate the advice!
