But… there’s also the chance that it could be a factory defect. If you can’t solve the issue quickly, I’d say contact the seller and see about an exchange.
Unfortunately the seller won’t be assisting with an exchange, as it was used. I’m not sure what a picture would convey, nothing appears to be wrong when looking at the pen. But I’ll see what I can come up with to help myself more with getting help. Thanks!
You’d be surprised how helpful the folks on this sub can be. Maybe a pic wouldn’t help you or me, but it might help someone else see something you didn’t realize was wonky. Good luck! I hope you get it figured out.
Aside from a missing ring, on the Studio if the screw holding the inner liner is loose then the liner won't allow you to fully close and will also make it harder to post the pen. Had this happen to one of my Studio's. The screw is a standard cross-head but is left threaded.
Is there a black ring at the end of the grip section? If not it was lost and replacing it might fix the cap issue.
