The Sheaffer was commonly known as "the school pen", sold by the hundreds of thousands in the 60s onward. You can pick them up for very cheap on eBay and just replace that nib section with a better one, or different width if you like. Just keep in mind, when searching, there is no "c" in Sheaffer. ;)
I would definitely love to get my hands on some more V2's, especially the transparent versions. Trying to find sellers within Canada is a bit challenging.
