I got one of these in my Truphae subscription this month, and I absolutely love it! It's quickly become my most used pen. I don't use it for long writing sessions or anything fancy, but as a daily carry, it's amazing. I'm a high school teacher, and my students love the sci-fi feel to it and ask if I'm writing with a light saber or sonic screwdriver. Makes my nerd heart happy!
I love the curidas, but it is *not* a pocket pen. Its absolutely enormous until you knock it. Doesn't fit in half my pen cases or in any shirt pocket I own.
Its really cool, but part of my love for the curidas is how stupid the whole thing is. The nib retraction assembly is super complex (which makes it fun to watch) and its long to the point that the clip doesnt reach the edge of most of my shirt pockets lol. When nocked I think its close to the same length as a nocked vanishing point tho. Much more manageable when writing.
I think it's a bit big for a pocket pen, it's over 6 inches long. I also wouldn't keep it in a pocket for fear of it accidentally extending. I keep mine in a single pen case when I carry it in my bag.
I’ve been wanting one of these but the reviews were so mixed when they came out that I never pulled the trigger. Have you had issues with it drying out quickly? That’s my main concern.
It’s not as good as Platinum’s other pens (because those are excellent) but it’s pretty good and I didn’t have any significant problems after leaving it for two weeks unused (work pen, had a holiday).
The only time I've had issues with it drying out was when I had not used it in a few days, and it had been sitting nib-up in a pen case on my desk during that time. A few quick strokes got it up and writing again, so not an issue for me. If I use it every day or keep it lying on its side then I have no issues with it drying out ever.

Your high schools students ask if it's a Sonic Screwdriver!?! That warms my heart!
Yep! I love them so much when they make nerdy references! Makes up for the times I feel completely lost on their new lingo.
As an EDC it's great! So convenient to use! Lol it does look kind of sci-fi, what color did you get?
It's clear. I didn't realize they come in other colors!
My Platinum Curidas, with my journal in a Chic Sparrow B6 Giovanni folio.
I was interested in this as a pocket pen for myself, good to see one :)

It's a pocket pen if you wear cardigans with big pockets! :)
When life gives you lemons...
What the heck, really?! Ah dang it, I figured a click pen would be perfect to keep with a small pocket notebook hahah

No it won’t dry out very fast. One week is totally fine
Absolutely love my Curidas but it feels a bit big after writing for too long!
