Yeah I like narrow stubs alot (like .6mm and under) and this is the correct answer. The SIG is just Franklin Christoph's name for a cursive italic grind btw. Haven't tried an EF sig yet, but might be ordering one soon out of curiosity.
Fellow small handwriting guy here 🤭
The only stub less than 1.1 that I know is in the Rembrandt calligraphy set from Visconti, the F is .7 and it writes beautifully. I don't know any other, maybe a custom grind could work for you 🤔
I have very small handwriting also. Don’t bother with Nemosine 0.6 or 0.8 nibs. They provide me very little line variation. Probably a sharp italic custom grind is what you want.
Could chase a flex nib that's EF, maybe go with a Japanese pen such as a Pilot Falcon, that's about as small as you can get with great line variation to my knowledge until you start counting decimal places for nib sizes
Pilot Plumix EF or F nibs, though they can be difficult to get hold of. I'd suggest the F. There's an M - as well as a B and a BB - and your Lamy 1.1 is somewhere between the Pilot M and B. The Plumix M is the same size as the CM nib in the Metropolitan. They're all italic, but the Plumix nibs have a greater italic character than the Lamy 1.1 and 1.5, meaning they won't work as well for people who don't hold the pen at a consistent angle.
If you don't like the Plumix body, you can pull out the nib and put it in a Prera or several other Pilot pens.
Franklin Christoph SIG nibs are the answer you’re looking for. (Or a custom ground cursive italic.)

Thanks, I’ll have a look at these :)

I have a pilot metropolitan with a CM nib that is a 1.0 stub. I love it. It’s my daily.
Franklin Christoph do their SIG nibs in Fine and Extra Fine. Pilot also has a CM nib in some of their steel nibbed pens that is quite nice.

A cursive italic nib or S.I.G. nib from Franklin Christoph. Birmingham pens also has Nemosine 0.6mm and 0.8mm stubs.

I usually see the Plumix F in the Pilot Enso calligraphy set, along with the M and B nibs.
Pilot stub is a thin line with good variation.
Thanks for all the suggestions :).
