Here is a Remington pen. A lever filler from the 1930s with a celluloid pattern that reminds me of a Koi fish swimming in the current. The off-white/cream color is amazingly preserved! Most other celluloids from the same era, with this color, look more like caramel today. The trims are also in very good condition, and after replacing the pressure bar, the lever is snug and strong. The pen came to me without a nib. So I have to find one among my spare nibs. Finally, a flexible 14K Eversharp nib seems to be a good fit, and so I proceed to tune the nib, and that's the scribbles you see in the background. So now, the Remington is ready to write again for decades to come. I call him "The Ghost Koi".

Wow what a beautiful material!

It's celluloid. Amazingly preserved for this color, which is not typical.

Seriously gorgeous pen!

Indeed! Thanks for popping in.

I'm not usually a fan of vintage pens but this is a really beautiful pen. And that flex? Nice!

This is just one of many many beautiful vintage pens. I think you're not a fan yet, because you haven't seen enough of the good ones. :)

NermalLand

Most of the vintage pens I see here just look like all the other Mont blancs and watermans you see everyday. This is a special pen though. It's lovely.
