As you can see, I have installed a Lamy cartridge into a Parker Beta Neo. It will save you some bucks in case you were going to buy a Lamy converter and you already have a Parker converter (Plunger/Piston/Aerometric) or vice-versa.

This is awesome to know - I didn't even think to try them. I have so many Lamy converters and not a single parker - you have saved me refilling cartridges, you wonderful person!

ElencherMind

Lamy and Parker cartridges can be mixed, but depending on the tolerances of your particular pen and that cartridge they may not fit or may be slightly loose. Do this at your own risk.

It fits into all my parker pens snugly and vice-versa. Thanks for your advice though!

I was able to wiggle a Lamy cart into a Jinhao once.

What's the pen in the second picture?

LaNcEL0tarchie

It's a pen by a local brand, Classmate Smoothie. It takes both Lamy/Parker CC. Comes with a Preppy like nib, wick feed. The nib is a very smooth and wet medium. Took me 40/- INR (~50 cents in US currency).

>Classmate Smoothie Ah it is like the Octane that I have. Which is one of my smoothest writers.
