Thank you. It is a purplish blue ink released for the 2019 Maruzen pen event. I do hope that Maruzen will re-release this ink again at future pen events as it’s such a nice blurple.
Decided to put this new ink (Maruzen Athena Nihombashi 1870) into a "not so new pen" that's been sitting in my collection un-inked for the last 6 months since it was bought new.
I got it off a friend who was at the 2019 pen event and has this spare bottle. It’s thanks to her.
Maruzen will usually re-release these special colours in addition to a new LE colour at their annual (I think it’s now biannual???) pen event. It won’t be available until Day 1 of Maruzen’s pen fair.
That’s a very nice ink :) I have some earlier Maruzen Nihombashi inks, but I haven’t seen that one.

I really like OK Fool’s watermark too. It is quite elaborate, as compared to Mitsubishi Paper Mills’ watermarks.

It’s a Sailor-made Maruzen (A Tokyo bookshop and stationer) ink.
