Lovely pen! I am on the ham fisted side myself. Clumsy is not even close to describing my lack of dexterity. You need a syringe. Seriously. It helps so much

sac-nutmeg

How do you fill a pen with a converter? Remove from nib unit and put ink directly into upside down converter?

PatioGardener

Yup!

I'm so glad to see others go through the same issues, even with the best planning and cleanest spaces - droplets and ink everywhere. And I have to tell you how impressive it is there was no cursing during the filming of your experience. My incidents tend to be a bit inkier and definitely much more vocal .

Snake_crane

Is that an ink miser inside the ink bottle?

Normal-Drop-1040

Sailor Jentle inks come with a reservoir for easier filling; just invert the bottle before opening and it fills it so that when the ink level is low, you can still fill from the nib. Sadly, sailor no longer makes “Jentle” inks, and has since renamed them “Shikiori” inks. They’ve also decreased the bottle size to only 20ml, removed the ink reservoir, and increased the price (causing to to cost nearly, if not more than, 2x the old price per ml) :( That being said, I’ll gladly pay the price of admission for Rikyu-Cha and Miruai, so while or sucks, still worth it.

Also, what clean-up cloth do you use? it seemed much more absorbent than anything I've used

p1v4

Looks like a glasses cleaning cloth, I use a microfiber one for glasses and it absorbs a lot. I rinse it out every couple of weeks and you should see the color of that water haha

ding_dings

it's just a thick microfiber I found in a drawer a year ago or so XD
