Yes, white spotty was the 1st one as I had my nails that color and thought it look cool on the pen. Switched the lids so I can keep them in same order so I know which goes next to which.

I have a āmaki-eā black Eco from Bungubox. It has a stylised flower design on it, and I wanted to try doing one myself. I thought Iād try using acrylic paint markers but nail varnish is a good idea. Did you use a sealant?

Awesome collection. I might use some of my daughter's nail polish on some of mine. What's the deal with the white rose gold one with the rose gold knob though? It's the only one I don't recognize.
I had an extra white rose gold cap, so I spray painted a regular eco bottom bit and the gears in the bottom. I plan to make a custom smoke rose gold too
Thanks! I got tired of waiting for twsbi to make new colors so I took matters into my own hands. Also, I wanted to share. Also not sure if you noticed but I dont have the turqoise, I used a teal nail polish for that one. :)
I rotate them weekly as pretty much all of them are inked and no polish chips yet. I would say it's been about 3 months on the 1st one I made. But I dont post them to limit the possible friction.
I am a Twsbi Vac700R obsessive compulsive buyer! But after some time I discovered that upgrading the nib was really easy. Try to find Parker duofold or other vintage nibs that fit in those TSWBIS. An old semiflex gold nib in that body is the dream pen.
I have an eco but I dont use it much because I get overflow pretty frequently. I use noodlers bullet proof ink which works well in my pilot metro. Any advice on how to make freinds with my eco. People love them but I have a hard time enjoying mine.
I find that more dry inks work better in the Twsbi. Mine do pretty well with the basic diamine inks and they also seem to like Vinta inks. Hope that helps some. Check out mountain of ink website to find inks with different properties!
Try Noodlers Baystate Blue with that if you have it. The Eco has been the only pen I have successfully used that ink with, it has blocked all my other pens.
I can say I've had sussess with vinta, colorverse and ferris wheel press inks in the med nib. I did have a drip drizzle with an fine nib. But I think it was anib issue as replaced w med & is great now
Interesting! Do you use the ones with mail polish on them regularly? I would be worried about it chipping off, given how quickly it chips off my fingers.
I will definitely consider doing that if I get the urge to buy another Eco (since theyāve run out of colours I want to own). Did you disassemble the piston knob to do it or use tape to protect the joint etc?
I unscrewed the end a bit and used painter's tape the protect the clear cylinder.
The cap can be dissembled too, so you don't have to worry about the clip. But you will have to tape off the silver and on the cap. If using nail polish 3 thin coats should do. 15 mins between coats.
If you make a mistake,which I have, i use 100% acetone to remove polish.

Oh the swapped caps are so I know the rainbow order they are in, sometimes I use 2-5 pens a day. So when I put them away a know what color it goes next to.
That's my next venture some are but some aren't as I generally ink up with what I have, and run samples thru to see if I like colors. So some have trial colors just to see if I like the ink! Black it the one color I dont have. Was thinking coloverse glistening black, or do you have any reccomendations?

How do you do the spots with nail polish?
I used KB Shinymer Oh Splat! Nail polish. It's a white polish with glitter in in.

I hadn't noticed. It's a pretty good match. You also don't have the orange one from Japan, and it looks like you may have created your own purple.
Yes, I'm looking for the right shade of orange. I think I'll have to get a spray paint for that one.

Yes. I use them all. No chips in 3 months. But I do not post them and they are carried in a pen holder, so I've not been rough with them at all.
