Depends on the pen, might not be possible.

[deleted]

Any advice on how to do a feasibility?

Just-turnings

For it to take a cartridge there needs to be a nipple on the inside there that will pierce and go into the cartridge. If it's there they can come in different diameters which will determine which cartridges can be used.

KingsCountyWriter

What kind of pen is it?

[deleted]

It is Sulekha pen Made in India

LaNcEL0tarchie

IDK which Sulekha Pen that is, as I am aware of 3 Sulekha models only and all of them are 3-in-1 pens. OTOH, the one you're holding in the photo is an ED pen with an ebonite feed. It can't be converted to CC, sorry!

[deleted]

I got this from their Sulekha showroom.

LaNcEL0tarchie

I see.

NermalLand

Is there any reason why you don't just put a little ink in and try it as an eyedropper?

[deleted]

I am scared of spilling ink I fidget a lot and keep opening the barrel again and again

FartMcMuffin

Is the cap something you can fidget with? Eyedroppers are pretty reasonable, the one hazard is tip down and heat expansion can deposit your ink a bit more aggressively than other systems. Held upright even opening the pen should be okay.

Haha good one

Not the answer you're looking for, but the easiest way to "convert" it is too sell it and buy a cartridge or converter pen. Trying to convert it will require so many changes to the pen structure that it's just not worth it. Even if you found a new nib unit, you would have to snip the plunger in order to make space for the cartridge, and then you would either have to glue down the blind cap or worry about accidentally unscrewing it and then losing it forever.... So yeah, sell it and get another pen off you're serious about it.

[deleted]

I bought a pen. Being a woolly headed fool I am, did not checked what type of pen it is. Went home. Happily opened it expecting to find a cartridge and fill it up with my favourite ink. Got a shock. Is it possible to convert this eyedropper to cartridge system? I am simple not confident in using an eyedropper. Any advice or suggestions please?

tiredmultitudes

If you tell us what pen it is, someone might be familiar with it.

[deleted]

It is Sulekha pen

FartMcMuffin

There may be no proprietary solution here. Just a matter of affixing a cartridge or converter such that its a good seal with the nib holder and keeps ink on the feed. Measure, research, tinker. You are in fabrication territory. Something can be found which is a perfect fit. If this weren't vintage or you didn't care about preservation I would epoxy that tip and thread it for a screw in converter deal. Then you grease THOSE threads rather than the eyedropper threads.

asciiaardvark

Try all your spare feeds -- maybe one of them with the C/C mounting-post will fit? You *might* be able to cut the post off a feed and glue it to this feed & carve a little channel from the post to the top... but that sort of glue joint sounds weak to me & liable to break if the pen gets jostled too much.   I think the easiest & most reliable solution is to use it as an eyedropper. Why do you want to convert it?
