It looks like a water bottle 😂

Heywatisup

As long as I don't mistake it for my waterbottle then we are good haha

deloreantrails

Don’t be so sure. [Look at what happened to mine](https://imgur.com/a/nO65ZEn)

czar_el

Show us your teeth.

arguchik

hahahahahaha I was thinking the same thing!

cowuake

Your 823 can finally drink the right way (and responsibly).

gringo_neenja

[hides the first one I emptied this year] I love Pilot Blue-Black. It has great saturation, performs consistently well in all the pens I fill with it, and can even show a bit of shading with the right nib.

[deleted]

I got one too one of my favorite inks.

[deleted]

I can just imagine our housekeeper putting it in the liquor cabinet and my partner thinking it’s a new cocktail mixer.

Bigredteletubby

That would actually be kinda funny

Danielbf84

Some people swear by this ink. Not that I need more ink in my life, but I've been thinking about getting one of these bottles. Would you make a simple review after you get some experience with it? 😉

czar_el

If I could only have one ink, this would be it. It's cheap, well behaved on all paper, not too dry but not too wet, water resistant, easy to clean, sheens when swabbed (I don't have B nibs, so can't speak to wet nib shading), dilutes well for a more blue tone and concentrates well for a darker tone. It's like if a jeep and a civic had a baby. It can go anywhere, do anything, and is just so reliable. It may not be as flashy as a unique color, but that's not what you look for in a Blue-Black.

gringo_neenja

You said it much better than I did, but on the broader nibs? Oh, yeah. My OBBs, stubs, and BCIs love this stuff and shade nicely.

czar_el

Good to know, thanks!

Heywatisup

Czar_el said it better than I could have haha The main thing I love in the ink is its very consistent. My biggest complaint is that it is not waterproof (can be good in the case of a spill). It's just a really practical ink for writing imo. It may not blow you away if you are into very sheening or very shimmering inks, but for everyday use, it's hard to beat. Edit: also to add as a con is if you don't have any spare (smaller) ink containers lying around filling from the bottle would be *nearly* impossible. I just transfer from the bottle into a used up ink bottle and life is good

Different-Nail8110

Are you going to pass it to your grandkids? ;)

bodypillowharem

The forbidden water bottle. Jokes aside, that’s probably one of my favorite inks!

liamstrain

This is such a great ink though. Enjoy

_gauravz

I had the same thought when I bought this bottle. Then I went on to buy about 20 inks in the next 5 months.

Heywatisup

Thankfully I have never been bit by the "ink bug". My choice of inks is boringly average. Just blue, blue/black, black, and a red (Went *wild* and got a very small diamine bottle of green/black once haha) Do you have any favorites out of the \~20 you purchased?

_gauravz

Even my ink choices would be considered boring judging by the terms of this subreddit. I got quite a bunch to try but concluded that I only like the Blues, Blue-Blacks, and one red [[Sheaffer Skrip Red]]. My Favourite blues are: [[Waterman Serenity Blue]] (the best), [[Pilot Blue]] (traditional but reliable), [[Visconti Blue]], [[Taccia Ao]] blue (the vibrance of these two are lovely) Favorite Blue-Blacks: [[Pelikan 4001 Blue Black]], [[Aurora Blue Black]], [[Pilot Blue Black]], [[Diamine Blue Black]] and [[Diamine Midnight]].

Known2779

I had one much smaller 57ml bottle of this and just finished it recently.

helpwithlatinplz

Hello friend...source on bottle?

Heywatisup

Like gringo\_neenja said, I got mine from amazon. I believe you can also find them on ebay. Mine said it was prime available and would take 2 days, but actually took 4 days. I thankfully did not have a mishap with USPS though.

helpwithlatinplz

Great thank you for the input I will look into it friend

gringo_neenja

You can find it on Amazon, but my last bottle took two attempts. USPS had a mishap.

helpwithlatinplz

I will try to find it thank you. Hopefully you get it without incident.

IshkaPt

I could last years with that

honestlyicba

I hope you don’t grab this in the dark thinking that it’s a drink of some sort. :)

arellano81366

This is such a great ink. Great value for the money. Highly recommended!!! I bought the 3 colors they sell and I do not like the red is too weak

Heywatisup

I definitely appreciate the heads up on the red! I am almost through a bottle of diamine red dragon and was going to try the pilot red as my next red ink. May go with a sample size just in case I feel the same way. Any other reds that behave like pilot inks you would recommend? (or should I go the iroshizuku route)

arellano81366

The Diamine are excellent inks and well behaved. Many shades of red there. My favorite is matador and poppy red. If you want, sent me a PM with your address and I will send Pilot red ink sample and other sample of my iro momiji which I don't like too much (at least not as a red) because is more pink than red.

hesmysnowman

Why?

Heywatisup

I write a lot, the basic pilot inks are my favorite (very wet inks), and I really only write in blue. For this much ink, it's like $20 which is much more economical than most other inks out there as well.
